The room is equipped with complete service facilities, including Bluetooth speakers for one key calling service, which can bring you a technological experience during your stay.

"We checked in on Sunday morning and were warmly welcomed by a helpful receptionist who assisted with luggage storage. Hotel room is clean, spacious, and well-furnished. The hotel location is great, between Tiananmen Square and Wangfujing. However, scaffolding was set up around the building due to repair works. Despite this, the staff handled things well—helping us change rooms, fixing minor issues, and even returning items we left behind. A staff member named Baozi stood out for his professionalism and helpfulness, especially when assisting us with Didi transport for our group and luggage. Breakfast was average but convenient, starting at 6:30 a.m., though we missed it one day due to an early trip to the Badaling Great Wall."

"Location is good, although car couldn’t drive in but short walking distance to main road is fine. Staff is friendly and helpful, recommended us to take level 1 room which is very convenient to get hot water from lobby. Breakfast choices are limited, only grab some in the morning before start our itinerary of the day. Hotel amenities with clothes dryer is an important factor for me to book this hotel (Per trip and hotel information, it should have clothes dryer), however we were informed the clothes dryer is spoilt after we washed the clothes, which is a minus point for me. Hope hotel can take note on this feedback."

Located on Yabao Road in the East Second Ring Road, adjacent to the Central Business District and the Embassy District, Livefortuna is a multi-functional living space created by Beijing Geely Building Development Co. "The hotel is directly opposite the Beijing Children's Hospital, and the surrounding area is really pleasant. Ritan Park is also nearby, and I noticed many foreigners staying here – it felt like there were more foreigners than Chinese guests! **Location and Transportation:** It's a bit far from the subway, more than a kilometer from Jianguomen station, but you can easily bike there. However, it's not far from Wangfujing or Guomao, so taking a taxi is more convenient. **Room Facilities:** The rooms are loft-style. We stayed in a deluxe room and a comfort room on separate nights. The deluxe room was larger, but otherwise, there wasn't much difference. The rooms were very clean. For two women and a child, the king-size bed was spacious enough even sleeping horizontally. **Cleanliness:** The bathroom was very clean, which I was very happy about. **Swimming Pool:** The swimming pool and gym are on the top floor, which is very convenient. The sunroof opens on good weather days. **Value for Money:** Hotels in Beijing during the May Day holiday are usually very expensive. The day before, my family booked a very ordinary hotel near Wangfujing for 780 RMB. So, I booked this place for the next day. Compared to its usual price, the increase wasn't too significant, so overall, it offered pretty good value for money."

Hotel near Tian'anmen Square and Wangfujing Area,Beijing
Peking Yard Boutique Hotel is located in the key protection area of the old Beijing Hutong. It is a century-old quadrangle building, which was originally the residence of a eunuch in the Qing Dynasty. It is close to Lama Temple, Nanluoguxiang, Duan Qirui Executive Government (Qing Dynasty) and other attractions in the north, and Dongdan and Wangfujing Street Market in the south. In addition to the strong commercial atmosphere, it is also surrounded by many former residences of celebrities, giving it a unique Hutong cultural atmosphere. The location is excellent and the transportation is convenient. It takes about 3 minutes to walk to the Line 5 subway station. The straight-line distance to the Forbidden City and Tiananmen Square is about 2 kilometers. Take the Line 5 subway to directly reach the National Stadium Bird's Nest, Water Cube, Temple of Heaven, and Summer Palace. It takes about 10 minutes to drive to Houhai Sanlitun Bar Street. Peking Yard Boutique Hotel is committed to creating a boutique homestay with Beijing Hutong characteristics, a "Wizard of Oz" hidden in the Hutong. All guest rooms use Bulgari mattresses, water purification devices, dry and wet separation in the guest rooms, all bright windows for lighting, and a panoramic view of the garden. There are also shared office coffee bars and garden terraces, allowing the exquisite space to soothe interesting souls.

"Overall, it's pretty good! 😊 It's also convenient for getting around, quite close to Zhangzizhong Road subway station. As you walk in, there's a multi-functional area with a bar and the front desk, and the staff are all really welcoming. Then, you walk through a restaurant filled with greenery and flowers to the accommodation area in the back, which has a key card access for a good level of privacy. The room is a bit compact, haha, but since I'm here to travel, the room is just for sleeping, so it's perfectly adequate."

"This hostel has an excellent location, right in Nanluoguxiang, making it convenient to get anywhere. We even went to Shichahai at night and then saw the Bird's Nest lit up. The rooms are a bit basic, but there are plenty of common areas, which fits the social atmosphere typical of a youth hostel. There were quite a few foreigners staying there too. The cafe has a terrace, and you get a discount if you pay with your room key card. Overall, a good experience."

A wide range of drinks are also available at the bar. There are many local dining options available within 100 metres.

"We had a really enjoyable stay at this hotel. One of the biggest advantages is its location in a hutong where cars are actually able to enter, which is quite rare since many hutongs are too narrow for vehicles. This made arrival and departure much more convenient. The staffs were a highlight of the experience, mostly young, energetic, and genuinely friendly. They created a very welcoming atmosphere from the moment we arrived. Since the hotel doesn’t have a lift, we really appreciated how the staffs kindly helped carry luggage up the stairs to the room. Their helpfulness and positive attitude truly stood out. We also loved the overall vibe of the place. The hutong itself has a rich cultural charm, and there’s even a hutong museum located along the same lane, which adds to the unique experience. Despite being tucked away in a traditional setting, it’s still very convenient. It’s just a short walk of a few hundred meters to the main road where you can find plenty of eateries and local food options. Overall, a great stay with warm hospitality and a unique cultural atmosphere. We would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for an authentic hutong experience with modern convenience."

FFanfanbufanMy stay at Mandarin Oriental Qianmen, Beijing, was truly unforgettable, and I deeply appreciated the brand's consistently high standard of service. From the moment I arrived at the hotel entrance, my butler, Melody, personally greeted me and assisted with check-in. Throughout my entire stay, from check-in to my departure, she maintained a perfectly proactive yet unobtrusive service rhythm – meticulous and thoughtful, yet making me feel comfortable and at ease. Whenever I needed assistance, she was promptly there, while also maintaining appropriate boundaries. This professional yet warm and personalized service truly showcased Mandarin Oriental's service excellence. I also want to specially commend Carla at the front desk. She was incredibly efficient and professional during both check-in and check-out, with smooth processes and a very warm and friendly attitude. The dining experience was equally impressive. While dining at The Courtyard, Iris provided professional and detailed introductions for each dish, making the meal much richer and more enjoyable. For in-room dining, I chose to have hot pot in the courtyard, and Daisy and her team made thorough preparations. The ingredients were incredibly fresh, and the overall setup was exquisitely arranged, creating a fantastic ambiance and perfect photo opportunities. The experience was absolutely exceptional. Regarding the SPA, I'd like to extend a special thanks to Tiana at the front desk. She patiently explained the different treatments and helped me choose one that was perfectly suited for me. The next day, I returned for a facial treatment. The entire process was incredibly smooth and relaxing, and both therapists, Ivy and Sunny, were highly professional. The experience was excellent. Every single staff member I encountered during my stay was highly dedicated, and you could truly feel the team's commitment to service quality. My experience at Mandarin Oriental Qianmen, Beijing, was delightful, and I look forward to returning in the future.

JJinganheleFirst off, I want to commend the front desk, the bellhops, and the housekeeping staff – they were all incredibly attentive and responsive. They even surprised me with a tiramisu cake for my birthday, which I really appreciate. On the downside, the facilities are showing their age. For example, in room 2025, the bathtub caddy kept popping open on its own. The first time, after my bath, I almost scraped my leg on it. I’d push it back in, and it would just pop open again. I understand that after so many years, wear and tear is normal, but maintenance really needs to address these issues promptly. Also, the doormen outside are a few middle-aged men with large bellies; you can tell they wouldn’t be much help with heavy luggage, and they’re not very observant either – they won’t come over unless you wave them down. Lastly, the tea provided in the room feels a bit cheap. It would be much better if it were all Twinings.

LLynn2hannaThis hotel is located on Wangfujing Street, within walking distance of the Forbidden City, and just two bus stops from Tiananmen Square, making it incredibly convenient for sightseeing. The executive lounge was a lifesaver, providing two meals a day and afternoon tea for the elderly and children, saving us the hassle of planning where to eat. The swimming pool was the biggest surprise—it has both a regular pool and a heated children's pool. After swimming, you can even use the sauna in the changing area before heading back to your room feeling refreshed. The service was generally good. The only downside is that the executive lounge is a bit small and the food selection is limited, so I'd recommend having breakfast downstairs. We'll definitely be back, highly recommend!

XXiaoma0607The biggest highlight here is that the hotel can help you get a queue number for the neighboring Siji Minfu restaurant. You just need to tell the front desk roughly what time you plan to eat. The day before yesterday, they proactively upgraded our room to one with a window. Jinshi Hutong subway station is right next door, and there's a craft beer spot nearby. It's only two subway stops to the National Museum and Tiananmen Square. Walking from the hotel to the Meridian Gate of the Forbidden City takes about 15 minutes. After visiting the Forbidden City and Jingshan Park, a three-stop bus ride brings you right back to the hotel, making it super convenient to grab your luggage and head to your next destination. It's perfect for families with kids.

MMrFineFineFineBooking was a breeze, and the cancellation policy was flexible, which was great since it's so close to Beijing South Railway Station. Check-in at the front desk was super efficient. Wendy, who assisted me, was incredibly clear and organized, explaining everything from upgrades and breakfast options to elevator directions. She really turned my mood around after a frustrating experience with a taxi driver. The room was spacious and wonderfully bright. It had all the amenities, including a capsule coffee machine. I especially loved the creamer pods the hotel provided – a shot of espresso with a pod of creamer was perfect. One small thing: there's an iron burn mark on the luggage rack. Also, be aware that the shower defaults to the overhead rain shower, even though there's a sign. I didn't notice it at first and got a cold shower right away! Not sure what the design intention behind that is. Breakfast was excellent, especially the coffee, and many items were freshly prepared, showing the chefs really put thought into their offerings. Xidan, with all its dining and shopping, is just a short walk to the right from the hotel entrance. For anyone with a budget under 1200, I highly recommend this place. A tip for getting from South Station to the hotel: don't take a taxi. Drivers will often refuse short fares. Use a ride-hailing app instead. Unfortunately, my company's policy doesn't cover ride-hailing, so I ended up with an unnecessarily frustrating business trip experience.

GGuest UserThis experience was a bit disappointing! First, the good points: the accommodation package included a high-quality afternoon tea set, and the staff were very friendly! Now for the not-so-good parts: I'm not sure if it was due to the increased traffic during the May Day holiday, but the room cleaning was unsatisfactory. There were hairs everywhere, on the sofa and in the corners of the walls. I wonder if the previous guest had a pet. We had to request a second vacuum cleaning! The evening BBQ buffet was definitely something to avoid. I've never had such a terrible BBQ. It felt like an immature dish added on a whim without any proper menu development! There were no labels at the buffet counter, and all the BBQ items were mixed together. We had to ask the staff, who then had to ask the chef, and the chef would then explain each item one by one. It was basically a 'mystery box' buffet. The scallops were overcooked and a bit tough. There was no juice at the buffet, and a star-rated hotel actually served cold mixed noodles (liangpi)! The worst part was that the BBQ meat and grilled tendon weren't fully cooked. They lacked chewiness and that grilled flavor; it was more like they were par-boiled first and then grilled. The overall temperature of the food wasn't very hot, and if you didn't eat it quickly at your table, it would get cold. The only highlight was that the crayfish were decent. The watermelon at the buffet wasn't as good as the watermelon in the afternoon tea set. The dinner menu was actually worse than breakfast.

GGuest UserThis was my first stay at the Grand Millennium Beijing, and it exceeded my expectations by far. It wasn't overly crowded, so it felt very peaceful and quiet. The swimming pool is a major highlight, integrated seamlessly with the gym on a different floor, creating a spacious, high-ceilinged area with a Southeast Asian vibe. I encountered many Hong Kongers there, from business travelers in the elevator to an elderly couple in the executive lounge; they were all very humble and friendly. The surrounding area boasts a wide variety of restaurants, and the Fortune Plaza Mall is practically a canteen for Beijing's white-collar workers. The night view is also top-notch, with the CCTV Headquarters lit up beautifully. A pleasant surprise was bumping into a celebrity while working out – the 'rooster among roosters,' haha. The Grand Millennium is fantastic, giving me every reason to return. The male manager who handled my check-in was very gracious, and the service was just perfect.
