The rooftop terrace of the hotel offers a panoramic view of the Forbidden City, overlooking the red walls and yellow tiles of the imperial capital city, and enjoying a serene and comfortable atmosphere hidden in the city. The hotel has convenient transportation, and can be reached on foot for flag raising, visiting the Forbidden City, and visiting the National Museum; The city's scenic spots, cultural landscape and Universal Studios subway line are accessible. The room is equipped with a variety of welcome minbar drinks for you to enjoy for free. The room is equipped with complete service facilities, including Bluetooth speakers for one key calling service, which can bring you a technological experience during your stay.

"The location is very convenient, within walking distance to Wangfujing Street, where there is a nearby metro station. Around the corner, there are small local eateries, making it easy to find local food and snacks to enjoy at any time. The room we booked did not have a window, but it did not feel cramped or uncomfortable at all. The hotel provides a self-service laundry room, complete with washing machines, dryers, ironing facilities, and even laundry detergent, which was very convenient. One highlight of the hotel is the rooftop, where you can enjoy views of the Forbidden City and Tiananmen Square. The atmosphere in the evening is especially nice and relaxing. Overall, this hotel offers great value for money. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable stay with easy transportation, close proximity to major attractions, and a reasonable price. We booked a large room at around THB 3,600 per night, which was very reasonable for the location and facilities."

"Overall, I'm satisfied. The staff are warm and generous, and the hotel has a youthful style. There are entertainment facilities on the ground floor, making it convenient for tea and chats. I stayed alone, and I thought the room layout was quite clever. It seems like one large space, but the bathroom area can be separated by a curtain, which wouldn't be an issue for two people. It's very close to Sanyuanqiao subway station, and you can even take the Airport Express from Exit A. There are malls, convenience stores, and coffee shops nearby. The soundproofing is lacking; I was woken up by loud voices in the hallway while sleeping in the morning. Finally, a [suggestion]: it would be great if there was a small folding stool in the room for luggage. It's quite rare in domestic hotels, and it's really inconvenient to organize luggage while crouching on the floor."

"This is a fairly new, ”smart'-type hotel where everything is clean and well maintained. The rooms are small but fully furnished, including a kitchenette and washing machine, making it suitable for long stays. We booked this hotel by mistake due to haste, so the futon-style bed on the second floor was a surprise. It’s not very convenient, but that detail was clearly mentioned in the description. This was our oversight in selection. The location is quite central, although it is some distance from the metro station. The breakfast offers enough variety. Reception, room cleaning and restaurant services are very good."

"My stay at the Renaissance Beijing Wangfujing Hotel was an almost perfect experience, with every detail leaving a lasting impression. First, I'd like to extend a special thanks to Ms. Elaine Xia from the front desk. Her warm smile and professional, meticulous service made us feel a genuine sense of belonging right from check-in. What was even more impressive was her proactive care throughout our subsequent stay. She checked in with us daily, quickly and efficiently responding to and handling all our needs, truly embodying the meaning of 'a home away from home.' The hotel's Executive Lounge was a major highlight of our stay. Located on the 17th floor, it operates from 6:30 AM until 9:30 PM, with extended hours that perfectly accommodate various schedules. Whether it was starting the day with a hearty breakfast, enjoying a pleasant afternoon tea, having a light meal in place of dinner, or unwinding with a drink in the evening, the lounge consistently offered high-quality food and a comfortable environment, significantly enhancing the convenience and sense of luxury of our stay. Most unforgettable was the hotel's exceptional location and views. From the floor-to-ceiling windows of the Executive Lounge or our own guest room, national landmarks such as the Forbidden City, the Great Hall of the People, and the National Museum were all clearly visible, like a flowing historical scroll unfolding outside our window. The serene solemnity of the morning and the dazzling brilliance of the night gave this trip an extraordinary sense of awe and memory. This was my first time staying eight consecutive nights at one hotel. In summary, the Renaissance Beijing Wangfujing Hotel perfectly exemplifies the standards of a five-star hotel with its top-notch facilities, unparalleled location, and the excellent service provided by staff members like Elaine Xia. "The hotel environment is very modern, and it's quite new, having opened in 2024. Outside the front desk, there's a café, which is very convenient for hotel guests to grab a bite. It's close to the South Station, about a fifteen-minute journey, and the price is quite reasonable for Beijing. Some rooms don't have windows, so that's something to note when booking. The bathroom is very spacious. A big thank you to Cheche, who was on the night shift and helped me solve a problem late at night! And thanks to Dalin at the front desk for their thoughtful and friendly service!"

Hotel near Houhai Area,Beijing
[The Heart of the Capital] Located in Xitao Hutong, Jiugulou Street, Xicheng District, which is imbued with a strong flavor of old Beijing, the hotel is adjacent to the main route of the North Second Ring Road. It offers direct access to renowned destinations such as Peking Union Medical College Hospital, Tiananmen Square/Wangfujing, ensuring convenient transportation. The hotel commands a view of the Second Ring Road to the north, the Drum Tower to the south, Shichahai to the west, and the Lama Temple to the east. It is also in close proximity to Yandai Xiejie, Nanluoguxiang Food Street, and other attractions, providing everything one might need. [Mansion Property] The hotel property is a renovated ancient building with a history of four hundred years. The courtyard dates back to the 31st year of the Wanli reign period. Emperor Yingzong of the Ming Dynasty (Zhu Qizhen, the sixth emperor of the Ming Dynasty) bestowed a residence upon Liu Jialin, a high-ranking official in the Imperial Palace. This mansion is the predecessor of the hotel. The charm of Beijing's architecture is on full display throughout the courtyard and the lobby, with carved beams and painted rafters, upturned eaves and bracket sets, reminiscent of the prosperity of a noble mansion in bygone days. The winding covered corridors run from north to south, the wooden carved decorations exude a pure and authentic texture, and the grey brick pavement provides a stable and grounded feel, leading to the depths of the courtyard in a meandering path. [Smart Hardware and Software] All guest rooms in the hotel are equipped with human body induction systems, eliminating the need for card insertion to access electricity. Guests can open doors remotely via a mobile app and control lights, curtains, air conditioners, televisions, and other devices using intelligent voice commands. The mattresses are from the century-old imported brand King Koil, and the high-quality, all-cotton, satin-finished bedding offers a cloud-like, comfortable sleep. Each room is (standardly equipped with) an intelligent toilet. The bathrooms feature high-end toiletries from POLA, a brand favored by the Japanese royal family, and dense, misty rainforest showerheads. The hotel is also equipped with a sunroom, a book bar, a café, and more, allowing guests to enjoy the scenic views of old Beijing hutong courtyards while relaxing. [Culinary Delights of the Capital] Upon checking in for the first night, guests will receive a complimentary buffet at the hotel restaurant, which combines Chinese and Western cuisines and showcases the flavors of old Beijing. A wide variety of Beijing-style delicacies and pastries are available, including fried sauce noodles, ruyi wontons, hutouzi (a type of pancake), shaobing with meat filling, aiwowowo (a sweet glutinous rice dumpling), fried crispy snacks, hawthorn cake, and more. [Highlight of the Courtyard] The hotel integrates local characteristics into its design and experience, naturally combining business travel with leisure travel attributes. It is a must-stay mid-to-high-end hotel for urban exploration. You can feel the charm of this city from the design-filled lobby, the details of the corridors, and the views outside the room windows. Let you always look forward to the next city adventure.

"I arrived late in the evening. The hotel lobby has a distinctive Beijing style. Behind the hotel is the Siheyuan (courtyard house) I booked. Since the hotel has been open for several years, the room facilities are indeed a bit old. For me, it was very quiet, and the room size was just right. It's a bit different from the Siheyuan I stayed in before; it has one entrance leading to two rooms. It's located in a hutong, on a one-way street, which makes it quite peaceful and easy to find. The service was excellent, and they could meet most requests. Getting a taxi was also very convenient. Overall, the transportation is good, and the hotel really captures the essence of Beijing."

"Staying at the Kempinski camping room with family over Christmas 2025 was an incredibly impressive experience overall. We checked in at the 15th-floor Executive Lounge on Christmas Eve. The hotel is located on the left bank of Beijing's 'Seine River,' the Liangma River, and you can walk to the riverside via an internal passage. The main hotel building is also connected to the Lufthansa Center mall by an indoor corridor. During our stay, every staff member, whether it was the person who checked me in, the concierge in the lobby, or the housekeeping staff we met in the corridors, greeted us actively and warmly. Special thanks to Clark and his colleagues at the Executive Lounge for helping me coordinate our check-in and afternoon tea arrangements. They made a later check-in for family members (with young children) feel incredibly welcoming and festive. The camping room setup was very thoughtfully designed. For the Christmas theme this time, in addition to the original large tent, there was a Christmas tree and festive decorations. I heard that the room's furnishings and decorations are constantly adjusted according to different seasons and holidays. My child has already requested to stay at the Kempinski Hotel Lufthansa Center again for our next holiday."

In addition to the strong commercial atmosphere, it is also surrounded by many former residences of celebrities, giving it a unique Hutong cultural atmosphere. The location is excellent and the transportation is convenient. It takes about 3 minutes to walk to the Line 5 subway station. The straight-line distance to the Forbidden City and Tiananmen Square is about 2 kilometers. Take the Line 5 subway to directly reach the National Stadium Bird's Nest, Water Cube, Temple of Heaven, and Summer Palace. It takes about 10 minutes to drive to Houhai Sanlitun Bar Street. "The hotel is located in a very quiet neighbourhood. The atmosphere is very relaxing. However, the streets here are narrow and your cab driver will have some challenge coming in to the street. The room size is a little small but it's perfect for single occupancy. What i really liked about this hotel is the smart toilet which is equipped with bidet. Very clean. There was welcome fruit platter which i enjoyed. The tea tasted amazing as well. Beds were comfortable. Overall, I am really satisfied and will recommend to fellow travellers."

GGuest UserStaying in Mandarin Oriental Qianmen was truly amazing. The whole team plan well to implement exceptional customer service and share the beauty of their property. I'd like to particularly mention some of your staffs ”Marcus” who cared so much about us from the beginning to the end, ”Eathen” the butler who was very professional during the room tour. It was our 2-year anniversary trip and they prepared our room very nicely. Next morning, we had a really joyful breakfast time with ”Wujoon Lee” and the chef ”Ping” Each menu of breakfast was top-notch. Every ingredient was very fresh, high quality, and full of authentic flavors(The Olive oil and Balsamic🫶). We loved Chef Ping's delightful energy and spirit! They were so friendly, and we even took a walk together with Wujoon after breakfast. He showed us other restaurants and beautiful ballrooms and shared many interesting stories regarding the property. It was a very pleasant conversation. I'd also like to mention one bell boy staff(sorry, couldn't pick his name up.) who came to pick up our luggage! We needed more time for packing, so he had to wait for another 10 minutes outside and took our luggage. I was supposed to meet him at the lobby because we wanted to take some more last-minute photos of our beautiful room before we leave. It was raining. After another 10-15mins, we went out and were surprised that he was waiting for us in front of our door without telling us. He just said it was raining quite heavily, so he thought it was better we take the buggy to go to the lobby. He didn't tell us because he didn't want to push us at all and make us hurry. He was very thoughtful, and I was very touched. When we reached lobby, many staffs waiting for us to say good bye, and I was told that the hotel car was prepared for my next destination.(Bvlgari hotel) I was surprised because I was supposed to grab the cab. Marcus gently offered me to take the host car for my convenience with this kind of weather. I really don't know what to say, and I felt like the Mandarin Oriental Qianmen treated me like their family. It was definitely beyond my expectations. All the staff have been very helpful, professional, and attentive. During my way to Bvlgari Hotel, I found out that the driver doesn't use the navigation. I asked him, ”Do you know where we are going?” He said he knows all the locations of every 5 stars and higher grade hotels. What a gentle and professional driver! There are always some reasons to come back! For me, the reason to come back to this property is definitely people and the breakfast, lol. The personnel of this property are absolutely the assets! The quality of service delivered by them during my Beijing trip has convinced me that I can always rely on this hotel for the home-away-from-home feeling. See you again!

SSisiluoZhejiang Ningbo welcomed its first autumn holiday, and among numerous destinations, Beijing was our definitive choice – the trip felt like a 'great northern migration of Zhejiang people'! Before departing, flights from Ningbo to Beijing soared to unaffordable prices, and high-speed train tickets sold out instantly. We eventually settled on a plan to transit overnight in Nanjing. Before the trip, I was stuck in a hotel selection dilemma: aiming for an international brand within an 800-yuan budget, but most started at 1200+ yuan, often without breakfast, which was way over budget. Ordinary local brands didn't appeal, and even slightly better-located ones like Atour or Orange Hotel Crystal were 800+ without breakfast, offering rather poor value for money. Luckily, during the 11.11 sale, I snagged a deal for Wanda Realm on Ctrip. I booked two nights to test the waters, and to my surprise, the stay exceeded expectations. The night before, we had stayed at a certain international brand hotel in Nanjing, but the experience was quite disappointing. The lobby was on the fourth floor, and the bellhop left us at the elevator entrance. With two kids and a pile of luggage, no one offered a helping hand. The front desk staff, perhaps because we used a discounted rate, grilled us with questions like we were suspects. In stark contrast, upon arriving at Wanda Realm, a doorman immediately helped us with our luggage to the front desk, handing us over to the lobby concierge – a deaf-mute young man who stood ramrod straight the entire time. He patiently waited for us to check-in, then, with a constant smile, delivered our luggage to the room and neatly arranged it. His sincere and enthusiastic attitude was a stark contrast to the previous night's coldness and instantly touched us. The hotel is indeed a bit old, so the facilities are inevitably dated. As soon as we entered the room, there was a pungent smell of cleaning agents. The housekeeper next door, hearing this, immediately brought several bottles of mineral water and helped open the windows for ventilation. Her warmth melted away all discomfort. However, there was a minor hiccup: returning to the hotel at night, we encountered outdoor construction noise. We called for service to close the window, but the housekeeping lady couldn't manage it and called an engineering staff member. Here's a small suggestion: it would be better if guest rooms provided shoe covers. To reach the window controls, the uncle took off his shoes and stepped on the sofa stool. For families with young children, there's a natural concern about hygiene issues like athlete's foot, especially since kids crawl everywhere. However, overall, the 4-day, 3-night stay slightly exceeded expectations: the front desk, concierge, and reservations department all provided professional service. You can feel the high staff stability and low turnover. This is the service legacy of a seasoned hotel.

BBuyaotingzhibenpaoI arrived in the morning so I couldn't check in immediately. When I returned in the evening, I was given a room, but the lock was broken. This isn't the first time I've encountered such an issue traveling solo, but the front desk resolved it quite quickly. They upgraded me for one night and asked me to move back to my original room tomorrow. The final room I got (P2) was actually pretty good. The hotel has central heating only, so it gets quite warm, and I was sweating throughout the night. The front desk suggested opening the window for some coolness. I tried it a bit, but being on the second floor (and next to a Peking duck restaurant), there was a noticeable smoky smell. I'm not sure if there was renovation during the day, but it was pretty quiet at night. There are washing machines and a restaurant on the fifth floor. Breakfast was quite tasty, though a few dishes were a bit salty. Overall, my stay was pretty good. It's very close to the Forbidden City (about a ten-minute walk to Donghuamen), and the subway station is also convenient. I traveled alone with my suitcase and didn't find it troublesome at all. The only thing is that taxis returning to the hotel usually get caught in traffic, but taking a taxi from the hotel isn't an issue.

GGuest UserI recently stayed at the lovely Pan Pacific Beijing while visiting Beijing for the first time. After arriving on the high speed train from Shanghai to Beijing South Railway Station, I was pleased that I could board the Metro (Line 4) and ride just four stops north to the Xidan station which was just a short walk from the hotel. The Pan Pacific is ideally situated in the Xicheng District, which is close to the historic sites (e.g.; the Palace Museum / Forbidden City, Tiananmen Square, the Temple of Heaven, ...) yet retains a local flair. Should one have the desire/need to shop, the Joy City and Grand Pacific malls are nearby and offer every item from cosmetics and clothes to EVs and restaurants. My 12th floor Grand Double Bed room was clean, spacious, quiet, comfortable, and well appointed (with an amazing shower). The housekeeping staff did a commendable job of cleaning and restocking my room in a timely manner at my convenience. Each day I worked out in the spacious fitness facility which was stocked with well maintained and high quality equipment (ellipticals, treadmills, weights, ...). The first floor breakfast buffet was delicious, extensive, and very reasonably priced, offering a variety of tasty Asian and Western dishes. As a non-Chinese speaker, I consulted the friendly and helpful concierge on a variety of matters. He even procured me tickets for Tiananmen Square through the WeChat mini App (a non-trivial process for non-Chinese). All of the Pan Pacific staff went out of their way to make my visit a most memorable one. Shortly after checking out, I received a phone message while traveling on the high speed train to Hangzhou. The housekeeper called to inform me that I'd accidentally left my keys and (invaluable) USB stick in the safe. Upon arriving in Hangzhou, I called the Pan Pacific and I explained the situation to an exceptionally kind and helpful Pan Pacific employee named Annie. She located the keys/USB and offered to courier them to me in Shanghai (my destination following my brief stay in Hangzhou). Sure enough, upon checking-in three days later in Shanghai, my keys/USB were promptly delivered. Thank you for going the extra mile, Annie, your compassionate treatment coupled with the outstanding service I received throughout my visit has made me a Pan Pacific Beijing convert for life. I'm already looking forward to my next visit! Without hesitation, I highly recommend the Pan Pacific Beijing. LLoh JRThe best stay we’ve ever had and even the children agree! From the moment we arrived, the warmth of the team was unforgettable. They helped us with our luggages, served tea to keep us warm and went above and beyond throughout our stay—washing our laundry, helping book Didi cabs and even buying food for us. We cherished the small, genuine conversations we shared along the way. The home-cooked breakfast spread was incredible: sandwiches, fresh vegetables, fried rice, pumpkin and so much more. A special mention for the wantan noodle soup—simple in appearance but absolutely yummylicious! A heartfelt thank you to Lily, YuXin and the entire team for taking such wonderful care of us during our 5-night stay. You are all truly amazing! We already miss you and we cannot wait to return. ❤️

MM303531****This hotel is great for a weekend getaway with kids. Juyongguan Great Wall and Shuiguan Great Wall are nearby, with Shuiguan Great Wall being closer and less crowded, though a bit challenging to climb. The hotel is nestled in the mountains, offering a pleasant environment with individual villas dotted up the hillside. Our room was quite far, so we needed to drive to the lobby and restaurant. The hotel also offers many family-friendly activities. On our second morning, we participated in a valley hike, which was essentially a mountain climb – it requires some stamina. There were also quite a few downsides. Given how spread out the rooms are and how far they are from the lobby, one would expect butler service, but there was none. Moreover, it was very difficult to get through to the front desk from the room phone. For a self-proclaimed 'family-friendly hotel,' there weren't even children's slippers in the room. After finally getting through on the phone, it took an hour for them to be delivered. Why weren't they provided directly at check-in when they saw we had a child? The room itself was fairly large, but the bathroom lacked air conditioning/heating, and the shower was open-concept. This design might be fine in Sanya, but in Yanqing, showering at night was absolutely freezing. There was also water pooling, and when staff came to check, they said it was because the floor drain was too high, and nothing could be done, which was a bit frustrating. We had two meals at the hotel restaurant; the food was good, albeit a bit pricey. We also ate at a farmhouse restaurant down the mountain where the iron pot stewed fish was delicious – I forgot its name, but it had “Tell Old Mo I want to eat fish” written on the wall. Despite the downsides, it's still a good place for a weekend with kids. The hotel has an outdoor pool and a children's splash pool, which were closed due to the cold weather. We'll definitely bring the kids back in the summer.

AAnonymous UserCame here to play with ice and snow, but the ice park was closed, but the snow park was. Came here with children and the elderly, and booked a suite and standard room in the VIP building. The VIP building is newly renovated, the environment is very good, the lobby is large and grand, but there are relatively few guests, even on weekends. You have to drive to another building to eat and soak in the hot springs, which is a bit far to walk, and the snow park is closer to the dining place. It is worth praising that the staff of the snow park have a good attitude, a good experience, and everyone is very enthusiastic. It is worth complaining about the toilet in the snow park, which is a simple one, cold and unclean. There is only one, and you have to queue. It would be better if the snow park opened a few cafes with better environment. There is a small beverage shop with a very bad environment, which is very crowded. The elderly were sitting inside waiting for us to play with snow, but later they felt uncomfortable and went back to the hotel room. . . It is close to the city, and it takes more than an hour to drive there. . .

11860103****Although the suite isn't huge, the room layout is very practical. Having two bathrooms, one for guests and one en-suite, is a thoughtful touch. The pillows in the bedroom are incredibly comfortable; the slow-rebound firm latex is perfect for anyone with neck issues. There's also a wall-mounted bench along the bed, great for sitting or placing items. The handheld showerhead had a slight buildup of limescale, causing the water to spray out a bit, so I'd suggest a quick descaling. Also, the toilet costing 18,000 was truly astonishing! Overall, a very good stay.
