"We had an excellent stay at UrCove by HYATT Beijing Forbidden City. The hotel was spotless, and the cleanliness truly stood out throughout our entire visit. The location is perfect — very convenient for exploring the Forbidden City and nearby attractions. The service was outstanding. The staff were friendly, attentive, and always willing to help with recommendations and any requests we had. The amenities were modern, well-maintained, and made our stay very comfortable. The hotel also offers free self-service laundry, which was a huge plus for our family and made our trip even more convenient. Overall, a fantastic experience for families. Highly recommended, and we would definitely stay here again!"

Hotel near Tian'anmen Square and Wangfujing Area,Beijing
Peking Yard Boutique Hotel is located in the key protection area of the old Beijing Hutong. It is a century-old quadrangle building, which was originally the residence of a eunuch in the Qing Dynasty. It is close to Lama Temple, Nanluoguxiang, Duan Qirui Executive Government (Qing Dynasty) and other attractions in the north, and Dongdan and Wangfujing Street Market in the south. In addition to the strong commercial atmosphere, it is also surrounded by many former residences of celebrities, giving it a unique Hutong cultural atmosphere. The location is excellent and the transportation is convenient. It takes about 3 minutes to walk to the Line 5 subway station. The straight-line distance to the Forbidden City and Tiananmen Square is about 2 kilometers. Take the Line 5 subway to directly reach the National Stadium Bird's Nest, Water Cube, Temple of Heaven, and Summer Palace. It takes about 10 minutes to drive to Houhai Sanlitun Bar Street. Peking Yard Boutique Hotel is committed to creating a boutique homestay with Beijing Hutong characteristics, a "Wizard of Oz" hidden in the Hutong. All guest rooms use Bulgari mattresses, water purification devices, dry and wet separation in the guest rooms, all bright windows for lighting, and a panoramic view of the garden. There are also shared office coffee bars and garden terraces, allowing the exquisite space to soothe interesting souls.

"This hotel exceeded my expectations. From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel welcomed and well taken care of. The room was spotless, quiet, and very comfortable. I slept well every night and truly enjoyed my stay. After check-out, they generously offered to store our luggage for free, which made our travel plans much easier and more relaxed. They even welcomed us back later so we could take pictures, which was such a thoughtful and warm gesture. I appreciate the great service and would absolutely choose this hotel again on my next trip."

"Hotel is much smaller than we expected. The hotel is located in an alley and no access by vehicle hence there is no drop off point directly at the hotel. Will be inconvenient if on rainy days. The hotel staff are friendly and attend to our feedback promptly. We booked a family room which can allow for 4 adults but we only have 3 adults. The beds are queen size and comfortable. However, the room is really small and there is no gaps to walk to the beds after we lined our luggage between the bed and tv console. The luggage cannot be opened if we place below the TV console so we had to place the luggage on the TV console. The space supposed for us to put a luggage can only fit in 20inch luggage. We really have difficulties to out 26 and 28inch luggage. Other than this, the room cleanliness and toilet is OK. Location is convenient as just less than 10min to wang fu jing street and metro. However, I left my popmart items in a paper bag on my unlocked luggage but it was lost when we back to hotel. I would say the hotel will be suitable for travellers with carry on luggage only."

Hotel near Daxing Airpot,Beijing
The Mumian Beijing Daxing International Airport, in The Unbound Collection by Hyatt Hotel provides a great place for travelers to relax after a busy day. The Mumian Beijing Daxing International Airport, in The Unbound Collection by Hyatt Hotel is an ideal choice for travelers who want to take in the sights and sounds of Beijing. Boasting a convenient location, the hotel is just 500m from Beijing Daxing International Airport and 800m from Daxingjichang Railway Station. In addition, Daxing Airport Metro Station is just a short walk away. This hotel is located near many of Beijing's attractions including Capital Library (Daxing Airport Branch), Shower Room (Beijing Daxing International Airport Branch) and China Through Time and Space: Digital Image Screen (Beijing Daxing International Airport Store). At the end of a busy day, travelers can unwind and relax in the hotel or go out and enjoy the city. This Beijing hotel features parking on site. Germaphobes can rest easy - the level of cleanliness is highly rated at this hotel. For guests traveling with families, this hotel is consistently one of the most popular choices.

"Service: Under the Hyatt partnership, Kapok Hotel's training is excellent. Staff also help carry luggage to the room. Overall, the service is friendly, with smiles and politeness. Facilities: A major letdown. As a hotel enthusiast, Kapok's overall design is appealing. The 'retro-modern' design, incorporating Beijing's urban culture, is a commendable concept. A comfortable hot shower and a good night's sleep are basic expectations for many guests. However, the hotel's hot water system is severely lacking. On a cold day, the hot water suddenly turned cold mid-shower. I was fuming. What's even funnier is that the hotel rooms use unknown bathroom fixtures. It's clear that Kapok's designer was trying to emulate Tony Chi's design at the Mandarin Oriental Guangzhou, with showerheads shaped like old telephone receivers. But it's a poor imitation; the water flow is extremely low, and the water pressure is very weak, like a garden hose. The showerhead holder is also loose, making it impossible to fix the showerhead at a certain height, so you always have to bend your head. Therefore, I wouldn't recommend this hotel for guests who care about a good shower. Environment: I think the hotel's temperature control is well done. It's quite comfortable. Hygiene: Clean. No hair or lint on the sheets. The bedding isn't from a major brand. The mattress is a 'something-ger' from Harbin. I didn't pay much attention to the rest. I hope the hotel addresses the showerhead and hot water issues soon."

Catering and supporting facilities cover diverse needs: Cordis Market restaurant presents global cuisine with an open kitchen, the award-winning "Ming" court Chinese restaurant showcases creative Cantonese cuisine, and the cabin themed bar Tune is a comfortable choice for light snacks. As an airport landmark, the hotel also boasts 10 luxurious banquet halls with flexible layouts, complemented by well-equipped temperature controlled swimming pools and fitness centers, catering to both business negotiations and leisure relaxation. The service team impresses guests with their professionalism and warmth, and the front desk and concierge services have received high praise, becoming one of the hotel's core competencies. In addition, the hotel is adjacent to the 798 Art District and has convenient access to world cultural heritage sites such as the Forbidden City and the Great Wall. It is not only an efficient travel stop, but also an ideal starting point for exploring Beijing's ancient capital culture.

"The air conditioning was stuck at 24 degrees Celsius no matter how I adjusted it, and I didn't dare use the bathtub, as shown in the picture. Other than the large room size, everything else was comparable to a Fairfield Inn. The basic room is a great value, but I wouldn't recommend booking other room types. The 'subject to availability' clause in the package is a joke; I asked the day before and was told the availability was excellent, but upon check-in, they said it was fully booked and couldn't upgrade me."

"The room was comfortable and provided a good night’s sleep. One of the highlights of this hotel is the in-room washer and dryer, which is very convenient, especially for longer stays. The room is also well equipped with a microwave, a sink, and basic kitchen utensils, making it suitable for light cooking. However, the bed arrangement may not be ideal for adults, as accessing the bed requires climbing a ladder. Regarding breakfast, during our seven-night stay, the menu was quite repetitive with little variation. Overall, it is a comfortable and practical accommodation, particularly for guests who value in-room facilities, though there are some aspects that could be improved."

The DoubleTree by Hilton Beijing is an upscale hotel located between the city’s Central Office District and prestigious Financial District along the Southwest 2nd Ring Road, abundant with over 200 pieces original artwork created by 30 contemporary artists from China and overseas. The hotel features 541-room, 3 restaurants & bar and about 5000 m2 meeting space including 600 m2 grand ballroom and 3000 m2 outside Roof Garden, and is equipped with Health Club, swimming pool and SPA. The hotel is very close to the Daguanying Subway station, which provides a one-stop direct transfer to Line 7 to the Beijing Universal Studio. The hotel is adjacent to Financial Street and is within walking distance of Tiananmen Square, the Forbidden City, and the Temple of Heaven, with convenient transportation. It all starts with a warm chocolate chip cookie, a small touch of our warmth and care for each guest. Where the little things mean everything.TM

"Traveling to Beijing with my child, we stayed at the DoubleTree by Hilton for 5 days, and I have to say, a good brand hotel really delivers a great experience! 👍 The hotel's location is quite good, very close to Beijing West Railway Station (high-speed train station), making it an excellent choice if you're arriving in Beijing by high-speed rail. Plus, there's a subway station right next to the hotel, making getting around super convenient. Beijing traffic can be pretty bad, so the subway is definitely the best way to reach various attractions. Now, let's talk about the hotel's service. On our third day in Beijing, after visiting the Forbidden City, we returned to the hotel. I originally planned to go down to the supermarket with my child to grab some snacks and drinks, but since my child was a bit tired, they went up to the room first. Less than 10 minutes later, my child secretly called me, saying someone claiming to be a hotel staff member was knocking on the door. I immediately told them not to open it. By the time I rushed back to the room, no one was outside. I immediately called the hotel to request a check of the surveillance footage. The hotel took it very seriously and found that a delivery person had followed other guests upstairs. The duty manager, to express their apology, immediately brought a small gift (DoubleTree by Hilton chocolate chip cookies) to the room for my child, helped us change rooms, upgraded us to a suite, and even provided breakfast for the next three days. They also promised to strengthen supervision in the future to prevent similar incidents from happening again. While the hotel definitely bears some responsibility for such an incident, their emergency response and follow-up measures were quite thorough and showed their sincerity. I hope the hotel will strengthen its management in the future to prevent unauthorized personnel from accessing guest floors and to ensure guest privacy and safety. I will still choose DoubleTree by Hilton when I visit Beijing again."

"Cannot recommend this hotel enough, absolutely marvelous stay! The hotel is trendy, modern and unique. I'd say it's very suitable for a young crowd and families with young children. The hotel is located steps away from the airport express line to Beijing Capital Airport and subway line 10 making it highly accessible to the rest of the city. There's a shopping centre, Galleria, about a 2 minute walk away as well. The room isn't large, in my opinion, however it's a good size for 1 person. It's well lit and tastefully designed. There's a comfortable amount of space to open a full sized check-in suitcase. Slippers, towels, water, cups and a kettle are provided. There's a mini fridge with more water and pop. Shampoo, conditioner, and body wash are provided in the shower. The overall design is modern, clean and welcoming. The gym is spacious and well lit with many mirrors. It has the essentials to fit in a good workout while away from home. There are also complimentary mini water bottles in the gym. The laundry room is right next up the gym and very simple to use. There are 4 machines and you can actually check the use status on the television in your room. Wash your clothes first on the bottom machine, no need to add detergent, it's already built in. After the wash cycle, move your clothes up the dryer on top. The wash and dry cycle takes just under an hour. My clothes came out fresh and clean! The breakfast buffet is one of the best I've seen! There's an amazing selection of Chinese and Western food. Breakfast starts at 7am and there's plenty of seating. The only improvement I would recommend is adding a selection of tea. There's also complimentary dim sum every day at 10pm. Dumplings, sui mai, pork buns and red bean buns and tea are available in the lobby, perfect for when you're craving a little snack at night! One thing to note, that's not entirely within the hotel's control: although it's a non smoking hotel with No Smoking signs everywhere, some guests may ignore the signs and smoke anyways. There's a very faint, lingering trace of the smell of cigarettes in the bathroom due to the ventilation. It was VERY faint so it didn't bother me but I did notice it at times. There was also one morning I left the room and the entire floor REEKED of cigarettes. By the time I came back late in the afternoon, the smell had been cleared. The hotel seems very adept at handling this situation so it really did not impact my stay. However, if you are super sensitive to cigarette smoke, this may be something to be mindful of. Overall, amazing stay and I'd definitely come again!"

"Check-in was quick and easy, and there's a parking lot with a discounted rate for guests. We also got free admission to the Aoga Art Museum and a complimentary glass of house-brewed beer at the Hard Rock Cafe. The room wasn't huge, but it was well-designed, very comfortable, and had no strange odors. The shower water temperature and pressure were perfect. The bed felt a little soft and saggy, but the pillows were comfortable. The overall ambiance was fantastic – oil paintings lined the hallways and rooms, and the lobby sculptures were great for photos. The elevator required a key card to go up, and it was quiet and smooth – much better quality than many other hotels. Thumbs up!"

__M1363120****Really enjoyed my staycation at the Mandarin Hutong with my favorite person. We booked the hotel's basic room type, and the hotel generously offered a complimentary two-level upgrade at check-in. During our stay, they also provided tea and bottled water for brewing it. The room itself already came with a wide selection of complimentary soft drinks and a bottle of white wine. Sticking to the principle of not wasting anything, haha, and with a local friend joining us for a game of 'Guandan' (a Chinese card game) in the room, we made sure to fully enjoy all the beverages, trying not to let anything go to waste! 😁 The only minor point of criticism was one of the Mandarin staff members; it seemed like her knowledge of the hotel's room types was less than mine, who just browses forums, which was a bit awkward. 😅 Overall, it was very much worth it. I look forward to coming back here for a second visit with her in a different season in the future.

GGuest UserThe breakfast spread was incredibly generous, and the room decor was exquisite. The night view of Jianguomenwai Street was absolutely stunning. Even though the hotel shows a bit of age, the sense of luxury is still incredibly strong. GGuest UserWe booked two rooms, a family room and a regular double. This worked well with our two children and the staff got the tins to be on the same floor and super close together. The rooms were clean and tidy and there is free water (bottled) every day. The staff is friendly and helpful too (they even ordered us nappies because we were running low). The morning highlight is breakfast on the rooftop (summer probably outside) but in winter with a good sunrise. The selection is large and the children always found a good selection of things to eat (us adults too of course). I would recommend and book again if returning! Location is top notch!

MMiaomaLocation & Transportation: Excellent. Within a ten-minute walk, you can reach Wangfujing Street. The hotel is also within a ten-minute walk to the subway station (it's located between China Art Museum and Jinyu Hutong stations on Subway Line 8). There are several 'must-try' restaurants from the 'Must-Eat List' nearby, though the queues can be crazy. Dining: I had both breakfast and dinner. The variety isn't huge, but several dishes were very tasty. For breakfast, my personal favorites were the pan-fried buns and roujiamo (Chinese meat burger). I also had a bowl of noodles every day (with many different toppings). The stir-fried dishes changed almost daily and were freshly made and delicious. Service: Very generous, warm, and proactive. Room Facilities: We had a twin room. The beds couldn't be pushed together, but thankfully, they were 1.4 meters wide, which was quite spacious.

YYifeiGGThe hotel room was really spacious, and I loved the tea table setup. It was also very affordable, and the facilities were excellent, with a smart toilet, a large-screen TV, and a smart voice system. Plus, about 500 meters downstairs is Lianhua Pond Park, which has an ice rink. Although it's small, there are very few people, so you don't have to deal with the crowds at the Summer Palace ice rink. The only thing I couldn't stand was that the heating couldn't be adjusted – it was ridiculously hot. The air conditioning was disabled, so there was no way to control the room temperature. I tried opening the window, but it still didn't help. This place is perfect for those who don't mind heat or those who get cold easily, but I really struggled with the heat.

GGuest UserStayed at the Commune by the Great Wall's Bamboo House with the kids, and it was a pretty good experience! The Bamboo House has a unique and quiet design, making it especially family-friendly. With several rooms, it's also perfect for gatherings with friends and their families. It's only a five-minute drive to the Shuiguan Great Wall, which is a less crowded and more challenging section, almost like having the whole place to yourself. I do hope the activities and dining options within the resort could be a bit more diverse next time. 👍 A big thank you to Olivier and Sunny for their thoughtful and attentive service throughout our stay – they were warm, meticulous, and always ready to help. We'll definitely be back!

QQuin56Review: Stay Home This trip was like an encounter with prehistoric man and a case study of a failed business combined. If you book a standard room, you will be taken away from the five star reception area to another building which has the decor and standards of a thirty year old hotel. Faded carpets, peeling walls, smelly interiors, uncleaned floors and rooms which are impossible to heat. But it was just about liveable, in that it had a bed and hot water. What totally failed to impress were the amenities. We'd come for the children's stuff, the little zoo, water park and others. The price of these are not included in the hotel, and for each experience they charge adults and baby to the tune of 80rmb, meaning you will spend quite a bit to use it all. As soon as I saw the children's rides I became depressed, they were rusting and looked murderous, as if the nuts and bolts would be dislodged and explode fatally in all directions if a kid shook too heavily on the things. To even use anything suggested you'd become unclean as well. Then you attempt to ask staff something but stop when you realise how futile it would be to address someone with one eye in its forehead and the other in its chin, with their peers boasting similarly fascinating facial misalignments. An hour of that and we wanted to leave, including our baby. She would have been much happier at home playing with her toys, or rather just happy at home doing anything than being at the Nirvana resort. Anyway, the swimming pool is not free either, they will charge you 58 a person including child. When I went to ask about a swim, staff were downright stunned I'd walked in to ask such a question, watching as I entered and left with hillbilly intensity and incomprehension. You can see the park had a lot of money invested in it before, way back in the misty past, but I can't see them recouping their losses. The resort is a grab money scheme with separate interests taking care of, or neglecting, what is on offer. I can't see them attracting a moneyed middle class without a total overhaul. On the plus side, my wife and I did have a good laugh about how bad it was and the fact we'd packed for a few days in expectation of a holiday, but found ourselves cancelling after an hour. The reception was helpful with this and refunded our money. The staff are well meaning in a vacuous kind of way, going about their duties as the whole place drops about them, broken lifts, falling plaster, water leaks and all. But to be sincerely positive, the gardens are pleasant along with the lake and ducks.

Very Good
11860103****Although the suite isn't huge, the room layout is very practical. Having two bathrooms, one for guests and one en-suite, is a thoughtful touch. The pillows in the bedroom are incredibly comfortable; the slow-rebound firm latex is perfect for anyone with neck issues. There's also a wall-mounted bench along the bed, great for sitting or placing items. The handheld showerhead had a slight buildup of limescale, causing the water to spray out a bit, so I'd suggest a quick descaling. Also, the toilet costing 18,000 was truly astonishing! Overall, a very good stay.

DDavid.Will.HThis stay was fantastic! The hotel's location is super convenient, right outside a shopping district and subway station. The front desk staff were warm and attentive, and check-in was incredibly fast. The room was clean and tidy, the bedding soft and comfortable, and it was so quiet at night that I slept soundly until morning. The breakfast had a great variety of Chinese and Western options, and tasted delicious. I'll definitely choose this place again on my next visit!
