The hotel has convenient transportation, and can be reached on foot for flag raising, visiting the Forbidden City, and visiting the National Museum; The city's scenic spots, cultural landscape and Universal Studios subway line are accessible. The room is equipped with a variety of welcome minbar drinks for you to enjoy for free. The room is equipped with complete service facilities, including Bluetooth speakers for one key calling service, which can bring you a technological experience during your stay.

"Rooms were spacious and beds were very comfortable. Staffs were friendly and helpful too. There was free drinks and snacks at the lobby (1st & 8th floor). Location is very very convenient to the main attractions. We paid one day for the breakfast buffet, food is great, lots of variety and there's even a noodle station. However there are some improvements to be made to the rooms. The room we were assigned are dusty and poor wall maintenance. There are stains and broken wallpapers. The door and shower facilities seems old too. Perhaps other room type are fine."

"Had a slight hiccup before check-in, but everything was resolved smoothly. Qiqi's service was excellent. The room wasn't huge, but thankfully it was clean and odor-free. After reading other reviews, I decided not to take the shuttle. It's not far from the subway station, and it's only three stops to Universal Studios by metro. (A quick tip: make sure to book a room with a window, otherwise, constantly switching rooms can be a real hassle)."

It's within walking distance of Wangfujing Street and Tiananmen Square, and the subway entrance is only about a 3-minute walk away, making it super convenient to get anywhere. The room was clean and tidy, and the bedding was so soft I slept soundly all night. All the toiletries were provided. The breakfast spread was extensive, with both Chinese and Western options, and the coffee was delicious. Excellent value for money – I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Beijing!"

"Beijing was the first stop in my trip to China with my dad. And this hotel set the bar pretty high for the rest of the hotels in the trip. The place itself was really nice it all looked very modern with some interesting touches. The room was really good too very spacious with a sofa, table, big bathroom, the only downside is that we asked for 2 single beds but instead got a double one but the rest of the amenities of the hotel made up for it. I have to mention the gym, wow it was really good equipped, very spacious and amazing views, even though I was walking around Beijing all day I couldn’t wait to go to the hotel to go to the gym and pool. The pool was quite big, although I expected more rooftop it was closed because we went in march which makes sense. The only downside I would say is the location, it is a bit far from the main attractions and railway stations, but getting Didi in Beijing was so cheap I can’t complain. I also found that the city is so comfortable to go around cycling. It was an amazing experience and you can rent the bikes everywhere with Alipay or WeChat. The hotel was also in a good area to get good food from anywhere, if you want Chinese or European food it is close to really good restaurants. While also having fast chains and breaks fast spots nearby."

"This trip far exceeded my expectations, it was an excellent experience! I have to give a special shout-out to Carl, the concierge, for his thoughtful service. We arrived at Terminal 2, which wasn't initially covered by the shuttle service, and we thought we'd have to arrange our own transportation. However, upon learning of our situation, the staff actively coordinated and arranged a special pick-up just for us. They went out of their way to provide a dedicated vehicle, alleviating all our worries. The entire process was seamlessly coordinated, and the service was warm and attentive. They truly prioritized the guest's needs, demonstrating both professionalism and a caring touch. This level of service absolutely deserves a perfect score!"

"This hotel is located on Beijing's South Second Ring Road, a ten-minute walk from the subway station. The front desk staff were incredibly attentive and welcoming. The room was cleaned daily by the housekeeping auntie, and it was always spotless. However, the water temperature in the room was sometimes a bit inconsistent, and the soundproofing wasn't great. Overall, though, my stay was cozy and comfortable, and I'd definitely choose this place again next time!"

"This stay was a last-minute decision because my flight was cancelled that night. We're not familiar with Beijing at all and it was so late, we didn't know which hotel to choose. Luckily, I've always liked the HUAZHU brand, and I figured it wouldn't disappoint. The overall experience after checking in was excellent! First, the service was incredibly thoughtful. From my initial phone call to checking in at the front desk, the staff were all very enthusiastic and efficient. Second, although the room was small, the facilities were very new, with plenty of power outlets and ports. The bedding was soft and comfortable, and the water pressure in the bathroom was great. I particularly loved the 'hand hand' wooden smoky-scented toiletries. The soundproofing in the room was also excellent. Additionally, the hotel's location is very convenient, especially for an overnight layover. It's right by the Airport Express and Sanyuanqiao subway station, just about 200 meters from the exit. There's also a large shopping center, Phoenix City, nearby with many high-quality restaurants. The only minor issue might be that the heating was a bit too high and couldn't be adjusted down. But considering the city, location, convenience, and both soft and hard amenities, I can easily give it 5 stars! Highly recommended!"

Hotel near Tian'anmen Square and Wangfujing Area,Beijing
Located at the foot of the Imperial City in Chaodongli, east of the Forbidden City, this three-year project seamlessly blends cultural hotels, art spaces, trendy dining, and lifestyle experiences. It's not just a prime spot for urban getaways, but also a must-visit MiniMall that's young, trendy, artistic, and full of diversity. "Chaodongli Cultural Hotel" materializes the concept of "great seclusion in the city while forgetting its surroundings," allowing you to immerse yourself in the urban environment yet feel a sense of naturalness. The minimalist wabi-sabi-inspired room design creates a tranquil and bright space with the philosophy of "Less is more," delivering an immediate sense of physical and mental comfort. Adopting the ancient Chinese aesthetic principles of "greatness has no corners, greatness is achieved late, great sound is silent, and great form has no shape" as the hotel's room zoning, it harmonizes with the four cardinal directions and subtly aligns with an ancient Chinese aesthetic concept, aiming to promote natural beauty rather than artificial one.

"We stayed at Refactoring Chaodongli with our child over the weekend, and I was initially worried that the 'cultural' aspect might be too dull for them, but it completely exceeded my expectations! The hotel masterfully blends the historic fabric of old Beijing's hutongs with modern design. The common areas feel like a small art gallery, and my child was captivated by the light and shadow installation in the lobby for quite a while. The room was thoughtfully designed, preserving the old house's beam and pillar structure, yet boasting smart and comfortable amenities. The family-friendly details were also on point: they had prepared children's slippers and toiletries in advance, along with a delicate tea set and a huge bathtub from which we could enjoy the hutong views. The whizzing electric bikes, the red wall at the hutong entrance, the bustling sounds of people coming and going... it was the authentic taste of Beijing life! As for the food, we had dinner at Yuanshan Korean Restaurant downstairs and breakfast at Jingyou the next day, both of which were excellent additions. This stay wasn't just a rest; it was a vivid lesson in hutong life for my child. From the accommodation to the food, everything was impeccable. This is definitely my top choice for family stays in Beijing!"

JJieximeimeiThe quadrangle courtyard room was a really interesting experience, especially being in the hutong. It would have been even more convenient if we didn't need the shuttle bus, but that's probably only an issue in winter. The decor and facilities were decent, but the service was exceptionally good, and the cleanliness was impeccable. The staff were always ready to help, responding to messages in the group chat and solving problems at any time. A special thank you to our housekeepers, Melody and Vicky – they made us feel so welcome. Since we were traveling with our child, they even upgraded our room to a connected one, which made it much easier to look after the little one. Our kid absolutely loved it! 👍 During New Year's, there were special and very fun activities in the Ten Alleys. The New Year's Eve dinner at Vicini was also delicious. We'll definitely choose to stay here again next time.

MMiaomaLocation & Transportation: Excellent. Within a ten-minute walk, you can reach Wangfujing Street. The hotel is also within a ten-minute walk to the subway station (it's located between China Art Museum and Jinyu Hutong stations on Subway Line 8). There are several 'must-try' restaurants from the 'Must-Eat List' nearby, though the queues can be crazy. Dining: I had both breakfast and dinner. The variety isn't huge, but several dishes were very tasty. For breakfast, my personal favorites were the pan-fried buns and roujiamo (Chinese meat burger). I also had a bowl of noodles every day (with many different toppings). The stir-fried dishes changed almost daily and were freshly made and delicious. Service: Very generous, warm, and proactive. Room Facilities: We had a twin room. The beds couldn't be pushed together, but thankfully, they were 1.4 meters wide, which was quite spacious.

YYudan56We chose the 'Little Yellow Duck' themed family room, and my daughter absolutely adored it when we entered – it was just too cute and had a wonderful atmosphere! The hotel's location is super convenient, really close to the subway station, and within walking distance to attractions like the Forbidden City and Wangfujing Pedestrian Street. The service was excellent, truly excellent. The downstairs 'Siji Minfu' Peking Duck restaurant is a famous Beijing eatery, usually with a wait time of over three hours. The hotel staff thoughtfully reminded us to get a ticket in advance. After spending the day sightseeing, I asked the staff to help me get a ticket, and they managed to get one three hours early – fantastic! On top of that, my knees were a bit sore from all the walking at the Forbidden City, so I asked the hotel for ice to compress them. They even went to a bubble tea shop to get a big bag of ice, huffing and puffing as they brought it up – truly above and beyond! Next time I'm in Beijing, I'll definitely choose the Manxin Hotel Tian'anmen Wangfujing again.

GGuest UserThis stay far exceeded my expectations, I loved it! A warm haven tucked away in a hutong. First off, the young lady who checked us in was incredibly enthusiastic and thoughtful. The cleanliness was visibly spotless and comfortable. Though small, the room had everything we needed, and the heated floor was such a luxury – not dry at all. Both the courtyard and the rooftop are not only great for photos but also perfect for families, couples, or anyone traveling with kids. Plus, the nearby shopping and dining options are super convenient. I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Beijing. Finally, a big thank you to the front desk lady. On our last day, before checking out, we needed help with a taxi. Even though her shift was over, she stayed with us until the car arrived. That's truly heartwarming and deserves a big thumbs-up!

ZZhuangrumaoniuLet's start with the downsides: the soundproofing isn't great. You can hear people walking around upstairs, and the doors don't block out sound at all – it's like people talking outside are right in your room. Also, no one helped with luggage when I arrived, and sometimes the concierge didn't even bother to open the door. On the plus side, the front desk service was excellent and they answered all my questions patiently. Breakfast was just okay, not a lot of variety. The biggest advantage is definitely the hotel's location; it's super convenient for getting around.

QQuin56Review: Stay Home This trip was like an encounter with prehistoric man and a case study of a failed business combined. If you book a standard room, you will be taken away from the five star reception area to another building which has the decor and standards of a thirty year old hotel. Faded carpets, peeling walls, smelly interiors, uncleaned floors and rooms which are impossible to heat. But it was just about liveable, in that it had a bed and hot water. What totally failed to impress were the amenities. We'd come for the children's stuff, the little zoo, water park and others. The price of these are not included in the hotel, and for each experience they charge adults and baby to the tune of 80rmb, meaning you will spend quite a bit to use it all. As soon as I saw the children's rides I became depressed, they were rusting and looked murderous, as if the nuts and bolts would be dislodged and explode fatally in all directions if a kid shook too heavily on the things. To even use anything suggested you'd become unclean as well. Then you attempt to ask staff something but stop when you realise how futile it would be to address someone with one eye in its forehead and the other in its chin, with their peers boasting similarly fascinating facial misalignments. An hour of that and we wanted to leave, including our baby. She would have been much happier at home playing with her toys, or rather just happy at home doing anything than being at the Nirvana resort. Anyway, the swimming pool is not free either, they will charge you 58 a person including child. When I went to ask about a swim, staff were downright stunned I'd walked in to ask such a question, watching as I entered and left with hillbilly intensity and incomprehension. You can see the park had a lot of money invested in it before, way back in the misty past, but I can't see them recouping their losses. The resort is a grab money scheme with separate interests taking care of, or neglecting, what is on offer. I can't see them attracting a moneyed middle class without a total overhaul. On the plus side, my wife and I did have a good laugh about how bad it was and the fact we'd packed for a few days in expectation of a holiday, but found ourselves cancelling after an hour. The reception was helpful with this and refunded our money. The staff are well meaning in a vacuous kind of way, going about their duties as the whole place drops about them, broken lifts, falling plaster, water leaks and all. But to be sincerely positive, the gardens are pleasant along with the lake and ducks.

GGuest UserFacilities: The Forest Cabin offers great views throughout and is quite spacious, perfect for large families. Each of the three rooms has its own private bathroom, which is very convenient. However, I have a suggestion regarding the hot spring bath: it would be better to have gender-separated bathrooms in or next to the changing rooms, rather than inside the hot spring area itself, for better privacy. Cleanliness: Generally quite clean. The bedding and bathrooms were fine, and I didn't notice any overlooked dirty spots. Service: The service was excellent. During the Chinese New Year holiday, we received welcome fruits and a snack gift bag upon check-in.

YYuyeyoumingAfter looking at three or four hotels, I decided to stay at the Grand Millennium Beijing for my trip to Beijing, mainly because of its proximity to the subway, making it convenient for getting around. The hotel itself is quite grand, and while the service is very traditional, it gets the job done. I contacted the hotel in advance and asked the front desk to book a room on the highest floor within the same price range, with a view of the CCTV Tower. They managed to arrange all of this, which I was very pleased with. However, the hotel is a bit old-fashioned; if you order takeout, there's no robot or staff to deliver it, so you have to go down and pick it up yourself. The room itself is quite spacious and also has a traditional feel. One quirky thing is the power outlets: one nightstand has an outlet, but the other doesn't. This made it impossible to charge my phone while lying in bed, so I had to go to the supermarket the next day to buy an extension cord. Also, the power outlets are quite old-fashioned, not the new national standard, and many of them are loose. The bathroom has two showerheads, a main one and a side one. I assume the side one is for people sitting down, but one thing they might not have considered is where to put clean clothes for changing. If you put them inside, they'll get wet during the shower. If you put them outside, isn't it a bit awkward to walk out naked? The breakfast buffet at the hotel is quite good, with a wide variety of dishes. The mini hash browns, in particular, taste exactly like the ones sold at McDonald's and KFC. Finally, I want to especially thank the bespectacled housekeeper on the 24th floor. Her service was excellent, she was very polite, and the room was cleaned impeccably. She left a particularly good and warm impression. I didn't take many photos of the hotel, so consider these for reference. Also, the Hema Supermarket is about 600-700 meters west of the hotel, which is convenient for buying things.
