"I wasn't very happy with the room's window; it felt quite dangerous. When I tried to open it by turning the handle, the screen just fell off and hit my finger. There was no warning or notice anywhere. When I reported it to housekeeping, their response was quite indifferent.
The front desk and security staff were responsive and welcoming, but everything else was just mediocre. The service wasn't even as good as other guesthouses I've stayed at in Chongzuo.
The hotel's location is good, right next to the ancient town. However, the ancient town itself only has the iron flower performance worth seeing. If you've already seen that, you might as well go straight back to Nanning, where there's more and cheaper good food."

"The hotel has a beautiful environment and a large parking lot. The lobby is very grand, and they offer complimentary tea. On a hot day, a cup of Luo Han Guo tea (monk fruit tea) really brightens your mood. The front desk staff, especially the young lady, was very enthusiastic and helpful. "Everything was wonderful during our stay, and the butler service was incredibly thoughtful. All the staff were very enthusiastic, especially the guy who operated the boat and also helped with fishing – surprisingly, he's also amazing at making drinks! And the lady at the kids' club who helped with crafts was so gentle and attentive; my child absolutely loved her. But the most noteworthy person by far is Shu Ting from the restaurant. Her attentive service and incredibly strong execution skills meant she anticipated our every need and had everything perfectly prepared. A big shout-out to Shu Ting – she made this trip even more special and unforgettable! ❤️ I look forward to coming back again."

"I had heard about Zaiye Suji a long time ago, and I decided to experience it when I went to Chongzuo. The location of the entire Suji is very good, surrounded by the Black Water River, and this section of the Black Water River is particularly beautiful. In the evening of check-in, we arranged a bamboo raft cruise on the river. The river water is quiet and the river surface is wide. There is a kind of beauty of ”clear water and sky, deep shadows and flat waves. Fish flipping in the algae mirror, herons dotting the smoke shore”. After the cruise, there is a feeling of ”mountain scenery pleases birds, and the shadow of the lake empties people's hearts”. Dinner is also in Zaiye Restaurant. The seats by the river are open-air with a canopy, which is very beautiful, and you can also watch the sunset. Just because of mosquitoes, I went indoors. The food is also very good, so it is effortless to vacation for a few days. Finally, I want to talk about the room facilities. For a resort hotel, the bedding is very comfortable to sleep, and the bathroom is in place.
Another small suggestion is that it is estimated that it is very laborious to take care of the green plants in the park, but it still needs to be maintained well to have a good holiday atmosphere."

The overall aesthetic is sophisticated and elegant, with architecture that blends seamlessly with the mountains and rivers. The lobby frames a stunning panoramic view of the landscape, and the rooms are spacious and comfortable, with balconies directly overlooking the peaks and rice paddies. Every detail exudes quality.
The dining experience was a delightful surprise. Eating in a restaurant surrounded by mountains and water, enjoying the views of the peaks and river while savoring exquisite dishes – a fusion of local flavors and creative cuisine – was a feast for both the eyes and the palate.
It's an immersive embrace of nature: watching the morning mist weave around the green mountains, encountering the glow of the sunset in the evening, boating on the river, and strolling through the countryside, all far from the city's hustle and bustle. The butler service was attentive and thoughtful, making the check-in experience feel truly special. This stay was unparalleled, offering a complete immersion in the poetic beauty of the landscape. Extremely satisfied with this guesthouse! I initially chose this location because the electric scooter parking at Yu Lin Ba (Fish Scale Dam) costs money, so I figured I'd stay here, see the dam, and then rent a scooter. That turned out to be a great decision – the location is incredibly advantageous, and currently, this guesthouse offers the best value and is the prettiest in the area.
The hotel rooms come with washing machines, there's a 'Sky Mirror' on the rooftop, and a kids' pool downstairs. What really stands out is how attentive they are to every detail. Every corner is spotless. When I went to the Sky Mirror at noon, an auntie even specially cleaned the glass. The swimming rings by the pool were all nice and new, not tattered at all. The room also had a Tmall Genie, and the cleaning was impeccable. I arrived early, and they opened one room for me, and I practically watched them prepare the adjacent one. When we checked in, the staff immediately took photos of our license plate to link it to the parking system. The service was incredibly thoughtful, and we even received brown sugar as a parting gift when we checked out. A truly delightful stay!

Jenna M CWe had a lovely stay at Mingshi Yaju Hotel. The hotel staff were kind and accommodating. The buffet breakfast was tasty and there was enough variety to choose from. The room was clean, spacious and nicely decorated. The amenities inside were great too. We made use of the gym and the pool. During our second day, the hotel let us use their bicycles to explore around Mingshi.
Overall the experience was relaxed and enjoyable. Unfortunately there was a little bit of construction happening nearby, but it didn’t generate too much noise and in the evening everything was quiet and peaceful.
For dinner was chose not to eat at the hotel, but rather to explore the restaurants around just outside of the park area. I had a great time and would recommend to friends.

There are not many dishes to choose from, but not far from the scenic spot, there are more food in the homestay. But the sound insulation is very bad, the sound of the next room is very clear, the sound of children and adults chatting, it is not much, but we heard it very clearly! The room has a nice view, is clean and hygienic, is spacious, the bed and mattress are comfortable, and the rooms in the back row are quiet. The lobby is also worthy of the price. The disadvantages are: the air conditioning in the room cannot be adjusted by each guest, it is fixed at 25 degrees, and the quilt on the bed is very thick. In short, it is hot when covered with the quilt, and cold when not covered with the quilt. It is not a good sleep at night. The room does not have a small table, so it is impossible to make tea. There is a Shanye Mixiangcai restaurant near the hotel, which is delicious, and the average consumption per person is about 100 yuan.

The room facilities, though a bit dated, were very well-maintained and clean, showing the hotel's dedication. The hotel is located near the Guichun River within the scenic area, offering views of the Vietnamese people across the river, though the barbed wire fence is a bit of a letdown. However, the hotel's garden restaurant is an absolute disaster—the food is unappetizing and truly awful. I'd recommend eating before you check in or returning to the hotel to rest after you've had a meal elsewhere.
