"I have to say, the service was excellent. The ladies at the front desk proactively helped with our luggage whenever we came and went, and there was a shuttle service to and from the bus station.
Every time I messaged the concierge, I received an instant reply, which was fantastic. A special shout-out to Drolma, our concierge!
The lakeside view was stunning, and there was a beautiful lakeside restaurant right downstairs.
The room was spotless, with plenty of outlets. I noticed the cleaning staff were very diligent.
Since we left early to see the morning mist, we asked the concierge to save breakfast for us when we returned late. To our surprise, they saved so much food we couldn't even finish it all!
Both our early morning fog tour around the lake and our return journey were recommended by the hotel. The driver was excellent, the price was fair, and there was no hard selling. We highly recommend the driver, Qingdu! Haha."

"This hotel boasts an elegant, comfortable, and impeccably clean environment. The rooms are spacious and spotless, and the balcony opens up directly to a stunning lake view. The service was absolutely first-class; they even upgraded us for free to a room with an even better view and thoughtfully brought us afternoon tea. The hotel's breakfast selection was also very rich, and I especially have to praise the rice noodles – they were absolutely delicious! We initially planned to stay just one night at Lugu Lake, but we were so captivated by the hotel's ambiance, service, and rooms that we ended up staying an extra night! When we checked out, they overheard that our car was parked in a different lot, so they graciously drove us there in their own car (even though the parking lot was only a few minutes from the hotel). You can feel their genuine warmth and hospitality at all times. I've already recommended it to friends, and my daughter says she wants to stay here again next time we visit Lugu Lake. It's truly, truly, truly excellent!"

First, let's talk about the room itself. It's a Loft, so there's plenty of space, and all the amenities are brand new and smart. There's even a washing machine and a fridge. The lake view room is incredibly refreshing; the moment you open the window and see the lake, everything feels worth it! 😍
The guesthouse's first floor is a restaurant (for dining and coffee), which transforms into a small bar with live music in the evening (ending at 10 PM, so it's not noisy). Every corner is picturesque, and the attention to detail is remarkable. It's a must-visit for anyone who loves taking photos.
The hostess is hands down the best I've met in years – such a lovely young lady! Before our arrival, she added me on WeChat to send the address and important notes. Upon arrival, she recommended sightseeing routes and attractions, helped us arrange a pig-trough boat tour (which was fantastic!), and even took photos for us right at the guesthouse entrance! 👍

"We had a comfortable stay here, breakfast was provided and beds were comfortable. You walk out and you are facing the Lugu lake too! A beautiful site.
Only thing was that towels provided were disposable, and some room lights needed fixing.
Hosts are really friendly and reply WeChat timely.
There isn’t an elevator on the facilities and you might initially think you arrive at the wrong place when you arrive by car.
You would need to walk through a backyard of a local house before you reach the accoms.
They do ask for feedback about your stay which I really appreciate. And they have explained some concepts after my feedback. I think this is a nice accoms to consider for your stay. They do adjust their amenities according to past feedback too. Family room was kind of fun!"

"The waiters Bajin and Zhuoma were very enthusiastic and attentive in entertaining us. The hotel environment is very clean and the scenery is also charming. The only drawback is that the second floor of the room is very hot. Thanks to Bajin for bringing an air conditioner up for us, it was a little cooler. "A stay that far exceeded my expectations (perhaps because I had a few bad experiences with accommodations elsewhere in Yunnan before). First off, the hotel's location is excellent, right next to the Goddess Peak cable car, making it very convenient to catch the sunrise.
**Facilities:** Overall great. For the off-season price, getting a hotel with this level of smart amenities is fantastic value for money. Plus, there's a gym (though I didn't explore it much, fearing altitude sickness).
**Hygiene:** I really want to highlight this. I'm quite particular about cleanliness, and I recall finding no issues with the linens on the day of check-in. Thumbs up!
**Environment:** Superb. The design has a real style to it, and the backyard leads directly to Lugu Lake. There are also some scenic spots, whether arranged by the hotel or not, that are quite photogenic."

"The room was spacious and the location was excellent, right in the heart of Daluoshui Village. On-site parking was available. The service was incredibly attentive and prompt. We were upgraded to a lake-view twin room, and the view of the lake from the window was stunning. They even provided complimentary fruit and afternoon tea. The rice noodles at breakfast were especially delicious. It was very quiet at night and the mattress was super comfortable. The courtyard was also beautiful, and the kids absolutely loved it. "I rarely leave reviews, but I really didn't want to leave, so I'm writing this on the road. I booked this hotel specifically for its lake-view restaurant. Even though I knew it had many positive reviews and would be good, it still far exceeded my expectations after checking in.
The facilities are excellent, and the attention to detail is impressive. It's rare to find a place that even provides alcohol wipes and face towels, which shows they genuinely care about their guests. Even as a germaphobe, I couldn't find a single flaw with the cleanliness. The service, in particular, deserves a special mention. Both the front desk lady and the shuttle driver were warm, considerate, and professional. Upon arrival, the front desk proactively upgraded my room and thoughtfully showed me both the original and upgraded room types so I could choose for myself. The shuttle driver was also always responsive and meticulous.
Regarding the environment, both the public areas and the rooms seamlessly blend with the scenery of Lugu Lake. Just sitting by the window in the room, enjoying the view, was incredibly relaxing. The restaurant offers even more breathtaking panoramic views of the lake and mountains. The hotel's ambiance perfectly mirrors Lugu Lake itself – serene, elegant, and secluded.
Compared to Lijiang, Dali, or Shangri-La, Lugu Lake lacks the over-commercialized hustle and bustle, offering more pristine, natural beauty, especially during the off-season. It's tranquil and leisurely, perfect for unwinding and contemplation.

"This was by far the most satisfying hotel I stayed at in Lugu Lake! It's located halfway up the mountain, so you wake up to stunning views of the lake. The scenery is absolutely breathtaking. The hotel's afternoon tea and breakfast were both incredibly rich and delicious! There are also many activities to enjoy, like the bonfire party and bonfire night talks, which were a lot of fun! The public area on the 3rd floor is super photogenic, and the 'sky bird's nest' is a must-visit for photos – every snap feels like you're not even in China! The staff's service was warm and attentive. Since transportation isn't very convenient in Lugu Lake, the hotel offered unlimited shuttle services, which was truly thoughtful! I'll definitely choose to stay here again next time I visit."

Environment: Directly facing Mount Gemu Goddess, the large floor-to-ceiling windows are perfect for photos, and there's plenty of natural light. The combination of green grass, blue lake, and distant mountains is simply stunning, and it's even more magical with the clouds rolling by.
Service: The service was very attentive, and they were very quick to respond to our pick-up and drop-off requests.

GGuest UserAnother absolute gem in Yunnan. The price is relatively affordable and all you get for it is totally worth it. The views outward the hotel lobby is stunning and the decor of the interior is very cozy and fitting. You have a full view of the lake from the front unobstructed.
Rooms have everything basic and more. Relatively spacious and decorated very extensively, cozy and comfortable setting and bed. Nice setup in the bathroom area and shower is spacious. Toilet with automated bidet is also nice. For those who like bathing there is a bath with mountainside views and bath salts/supplies given.
The AI and automated curtains add a nice touch, though this one is more primitive than xiaodu.
Staff were very kind and helpful，offered to drop me off at the bus stop and served dessert at night.

The young staff have limited English but more than make up for it with their level of service and the translator app. They even set up a groups chat in WeChat just to advise us and ensure we were in touch.
Location is great (except for the fact that there’s the road below the hotel)
Hotel itself is brilliant. Phenomenal rooms. Great meals. Very personal touch and an ever willing / cheerful / helpful group of very competent youngsters managing. The whole crew looked under 30 but did a great job.
Was an absolute pity we only stayed 2 nights. Next time a week at least! Definitely coming back.

GGuest UserThe long-awaited Qiushan Hotel was truly worth it. This unique designer hotel boasts stunning views of Lugu Lake. Sitting in the lobby, you're taken in by the endless scenery: green grass swaying in the wind, the lake shimmering. This is what slow living should be like. Every step in the hotel offers a unique view, and the hotel is equipped with Dyson hair dryers and unique toiletries. The service is attentive and considerate without being intrusive.
The hotel also has its own creative restaurant, offering a refreshing alternative for those unfamiliar with Yunnan cuisine. There's also a bar where you can enjoy music and a few drinks, making the trip truly enjoyable.
The hotel has three cats: Xiao Hei, Xiao Hu, and someone else (I forgot their names), who kept the kids entertained every day.
A few suggestions (not negative): For a hotel/B&B at this price point, the fact that the kettle doesn't automatically shut off after boiling is a bit puzzling and unsafe. Also, the hotel didn't include a large smart TV or projector. Is this the ideal leisure getaway?!
All in all, everything was excellent. I look forward to staying at another hotel in the group next time!

🏔️ A divine spot tucked away on the mountainside: Opening the window reveals Gêmu Mountain directly opposite, overlooking the sparkling expanse of Lugu Lake. It's most magical in winter; lying in bed and drawing the curtains, you see the morning mist drift across the lake like a veil – it's so beautiful it leaves you speechless!
🌅 The sunset restaurant is a must-visit! The glass viewing platform is the best spot for photos; when the afterglow paints the lake red, even the dinner plates seem to be rimmed with gold.
The public areas are fantastic for photos: The cliffside book bar and the mirrored water platform are perfect for creating stunning shots. Posing in a corner with the lake as a backdrop feels incredibly atmospheric. The room details are impeccable, with underfloor heating and a scenic bathtub. Turndown service even includes a complimentary warm tremella soup ☕.
I unexpectedly found a notebook 📙 in the room, filled with messages from previous guests – it really warmed my heart~

The service is considerate and in place, from the front desk to the cleaning staff, they are warm and thoughtful, and they respond to every request. The hygiene is impeccable, and every corner is clean and tidy. The best thing is the environment, with the green mountains behind and the lake view in front, and the terrace to drink tea and watch the sunset is super healing. Because Lugu Lake is deep in the mountains, there is no highway, only the winding national and provincial highways with a speed of 37 kilometers per hour. Such a place far away from the hustle and bustle of the world is amazing (beating Erhai Lake by NN times)! The hotel is located in a beautiful position to enjoy the sunset of Lugu Lake. The facilities and services are beyond my expectations, and the cost performance is super high! In addition, the hotel's sour radish and old duck soup is super good, delicious and not expensive (I remembered that I didn't take a photo after the plate was cleaned)! PS: The hotel is full of beautiful women and handsome men from the proprietress to the employees.

GGuest UserI didn’t expect that the family suite was so convenient. Kids can stay on the loft, and parents are still within their sight thanks to the open space design. This is very unique and truly family friendly.
The amenities are modern with built-in smart technologies. Buffet breakfast is a proper combination of carbs, proteins and fruits, and they taste good. The staffs are polite and helpful.
One could tell the hotel is thoughtfully designed and carefully maintained.
A big thumbs up for this hotel. Will definitely stay here again if we visit Lugu lake next time.
