The hotel is located within the Qufu Ancient City, adjacent to the Confucius Mansion and Confucius Temple, both UNESCO World Heritage Sites, which are just a 6–10 minute walk away. All first-floor rooms feature private courtyards, while all second-floor rooms come with viewing balconies, and some guest rooms offer direct views of the Confucius Temple.
Built in a traditional courtyard architectural style, the hotel incorporates rich cultural elements including multiple water features, an openwork ginkgo tree design in the lobby, and themed relief sculptures.
The hotel houses JW Kitchen, an all-day dining restaurant serving buffet with local Qufu specialties; Zouyuan Confucius Mansion Cuisine Restaurant, offering authentic traditional Confucius Mansion dishes and Shandong cuisine; Jiamu Hall Teahouse, an independent tea-tasting area; and the Lobby Bar, providing delicate Chinese-style afternoon tea.
It is equipped with comprehensive leisure and recreational facilities, including a constant-temperature indoor swimming pool with a domed natural skylight, aerobic fitness facilities, as well as cultural experiences such as the traditional Chinese First Writing Ceremony for children, Six Arts parent-child activities, and stone-milled tofu making.
An ideal choice for both business travelers and leisure tourists alike.
"Overall, my experience at this hotel was very satisfying, completely meeting the quality standards I expect from the Marriott brand. The service was exceptionally thoughtful; a staff member proactively called me the day before check-in to arrange everything in advance. They were meticulous, patient, and responsive throughout, making for a great experience. The room was brand new, spacious, and well-laid out, with comfortable bedding that made my stay very relaxing. The breakfast deserves special praise: the food stations were clearly organized with a smooth flow, offering a rich variety of options, including local Qufu specialties. This blend of taste and local culture was a big plus. My only minor suggestion is that the kids' club facilities are quite simple and more suited for younger children. I hope they can add more activities for older kids and perhaps have staff on duty to supervise, which would make families with children feel more at ease. Overall, the minor flaws didn't detract from the experience, and both the value for money and the overall experience were excellent. I highly recommend staying here!"
