"We had a perfect few days here over the May Day holiday! The hotel location is fantastic, right next to the beautiful Nanchangtu Beach. It's just a few minutes' walk to the sea, making it super convenient for swimming and playing in the waves. Our standard sea-view twin room was a wonderful surprise, with expansive views. Lying in bed and gazing at the sea was incredibly therapeutic. The room decor was stylish, clean, and tidy, and watching the sunset from the balcony was absolutely stunning. All the hotel facilities are new, and the staff were incredibly friendly and attentive. This couples' trip exceeded our expectations, and I highly recommend it to everyone! ------ Booking the Yuyue Hotel this time was such a smart decision! The hotel is right next to Nanchangtu Beach, just a few minutes' walk downstairs to embrace the ocean – absolutely perfect for those of us looking for a relaxing holiday. Our room was a standard sea-view twin with unbeatable views; opening the curtains revealed the vast blue sea, making for fantastic photos. The hotel's hygiene was excellent, with great attention to detail. The facilities were also comprehensive, and the front desk lady's service attitude was particularly good, making us feel very welcome. Both the environment and service were impeccable; we'll definitely choose this place again next time we visit Shengsi! ------ A very satisfying stay! The hotel's location is excellent, super close to Nanchangtu Beach, so you can go for a stroll by the sea and enjoy the ocean breeze anytime. The standard sea-view twin room we booked had amazing views; the room was spacious and bright, with modern and minimalist decor, and the sea view from the balcony was breathtaking. The hotel's cleanliness was spotless, and the facilities were new and complete. Most importantly, the service was incredibly thoughtful, and all the staff were very enthusiastic. As a couple's trip, the ambiance here was perfect, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a seaside holiday!"

"Wonderful hotel! Amazing design for area and wonderful views. Awesome service as well. The main host is very friendly and very helpful. The island as a whole is a bit lacking in activities. But the hotel itself is great. Some general suggestions for the hotel would be to add some hooks near the bathroom for towel hanging and put chairs on the beautiful balconies so it easier to use that space."

"Catch the tail of the summer vacation and came to Shengsi with family and friends. First of all, we saw a lot of homestays, and finally we chose this sea view hotel with all facing the sea. The experience of staying in was still good. The front desk was very efficient. After a while, we took the room card and entered my invincible sea view room. The children called and jumped around the balcony, and at a glance full of sea and beach, the mood was the greatest satisfaction at this moment. It is not easy to come to Shengsi, it is a car and a boat. We took a long rest in the room and slowly started to move to the side for food. I bought a beach ticket, and the beach has a 23-hour use time for the children to dig sand and swim. This trip to Shengsi, family and friends were very happy. 🏖️🏖️"

"So beautiful island and cute hotel. For me was really big surprise that near Shanghai have such a small and cute place. We choose this hotel because of the pool. It’s was so amazing to open balcony and see u private pool. Actually one pool is sharing between 2 room but nobody swim, so everything was only for us. Also the staff in the hotel is helpful, helped with booking tickets, explained about islands, took us to show bioluminescent plankton. Could be nice if hotel provide one free coffee for breakfast (now need to pay) and some international food (was traditional chinese breakfast)"

"This guesthouse, perched on a hill, seems to be quite popular with influencers, featuring many Instagrammable photo spots. Both the rooms and the restaurant boast floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the sea, with the rooms directly facing the Rainbow Lighthouse. The restaurant's view is also fantastic; having breakfast with that sea view in the morning is incredibly enjoyable. Unfortunately, the weather on our first day was terrible, with strong winds and heavy rain, which completely dampened my enthusiasm for taking photos. I imagine it would be amazing to visit in the summer! The in-room amenities were a bit lacking; perhaps to maintain a stylish look, there weren't many power outlets. However, the service attitude was absolutely superb—they were always ready to help. They even gave plenty of advice to us fishing novices who were enthusiastic but unskilled. I must also mention the free pick-up and drop-off service, which saved us a good amount of money, considering that taxi fares on Shengshan and Gouqi Islands can be quite expensive. The recommended driver was also very nice. I'd definitely come back in the summer just for this level of service!"

"Choosing a newly opened guesthouse with no reviews yet is like opening a blind box. Luckily, this time I found a hidden gem! The rooms were brand new and fully equipped, offering a comfortable and relaxing stay. Whether gazing out from the balcony or lounging in bed, the expansive sea view was breathtaking. We could enjoy the sunrise early in the morning and a sky full of stars at night – the view was truly impeccable. The owner is beautiful and kind, and she and the owner are very good at conversation. The guesthouse staff were also incredibly attentive and helpful. This short trip coincided with our wedding anniversary, and the owner thoughtfully arranged a small surprise for us. The attention to detail was incredibly heartwarming, and the overall experience far exceeded our expectations. We are extremely grateful. The breakfast was exquisite and delicious. The freshly cooked seafood noodles were incredibly flavorful and delicious, leaving a lingering aftertaste. There's also a friendly Devonian cat that stayed close by during breakfast, lively and endearing. The entire experience was fantastic. Highly recommended! "It was a very pleasant experience. The hotel is very close to the beach. It is a stand-alone villa. The proprietress is very welcoming, just like family. One night, my wife and I were trapped on the other side of the island. We couldn't get a taxi and the rented electric car was out of power. In a hurry, we called the proprietress and she drove more than ten kilometers to pick us up without saying a word. She saved us, otherwise we wouldn't know how to spend the night. The hotel's kitchen is also available for us to use at will. It is very convenient to cook something or process seafood. During our stay, the proprietress fed us a lot of fruits every day. The proprietress is so nice. Thank you!"
