"The owner of this guesthouse is incredibly easygoing and helpful, proactively assisting with travel planning and offering many practical suggestions, making the guesthouse feel very welcoming. The design style is also very unique, showing considerable thought and attention to detail, creating a wonderful atmosphere.

"Having stayed in various accommodations along the Ili loop in winter, I can confidently say this hotel offers incredibly poor value for money. For 1600, even with a suite upgrade, its flaws are glaring:
1. There's no distinct front desk; it's integrated with the restaurant. It's priced like a luxury retreat but feels more like a homestay.
2. No shuttle service whatsoever. We relied entirely on walking, and while a butler helped with luggage, it was still inconvenient. Other camps in the area provide shuttle transfers.
3. The underfloor heating was inadequate. Although they responded promptly when we reported it, which was good, it broke down again in the middle of the night after being fixed. This left the room freezing, and we all started showing cold symptoms.
4. Breakfast was abysmal. For a 1700-priced stay, the breakfast quality was comparable to a 200-dollar hotel.
All in all, this is the worst value-for-money hotel I encountered on the winter Ili loop. Aside from the decent environment, the price simply isn't justified. I hope the owner takes the time to learn from other camps in the same price range. I'm quite disappointed and have already reported my honest feedback to the platform."

"This B&B was a true little joy on my trip! The moment I opened the door, I was immediately captivated by the design. The greenery and various flowers in the courtyard exude ingenuity, creating a picturesque scene from every angle. The room was surprisingly spacious, the bedding was so soft I didn't want to leave it, and even the bathroom was so clean it was a delight.
The warmest thing about the owner and his family was the owner! I contacted him and he drove to pick me up at the station. On the way, I saw a fruit stand along the way and mentioned my love for fruit. Upon arrival, he presented me with a plate full of sliced watermelon, apricots, and peaches. The sweetness was palpable. And there was the dog, Lai Fu, who would wag his tail and rub against my pants, then walk around with a toy in his mouth. It was such a treat.
When we left, we asked if he could drive us to the station, and he immediately drove us. We chatted and found out he was from Jiangsu too. What a wonderful connection! I'll definitely stay with him again next time I visit, and try Lai Fu again!"

"During my trip to Xinjiang, I encountered several highly-rated guesthouses, but Lanchuan was the happiest place we stayed. Even a month after returning, I absolutely must give Lanchuan this rave review; I even regret not staying there for two more nights!
Facilities: There was cool air conditioning. The first night I stayed at another guesthouse on the mountainside, which cost over 1000 yuan and didn't even have air conditioning. Parking here was also very convenient; no need to drive on bumpy, rocky roads.
Cleanliness: Every corner was spotless, making me feel very safe and comfortable.
Environment: The scenery was beautiful, with a vast and expansive view.
Service: The service from the owners was the most satisfying. The owner's father was an excellent cook. We ordered groceries, went out for a walk, and came back to a delicious home-style meal, full of wok hei (the smoky aroma imparted by a hot wok), which was absolutely delicious!

"This B&B is incredibly satisfying. From the courtyard environment to the room furnishings and the B&B location, it's all top-notch quality! This is the first time I've met such a tasteful owner. This price is way better than B&Bs over 1,000. It's the best experience in Xinjiang. Every corner of the room and courtyard is stunning. I tried the Ballet Girl cocktail, and the look and taste were top-notch! I absolutely love it. Every piece of furniture and vase in the room is beautiful. I love it!! I'd like to ask where the owner bought all the furniture and appliances. The owner is also very kind and willing to share everything he knows!! Because of the quality, I decided to cancel my itinerary for the day and stay at the hotel."

The dogs, cows and horses on the ranch next to it are very well behaved, and Qiongkushitai is so beautiful.
The B&B is not far from the ancient trail and the back mountain, making it a good choice for staying.

The environment is 100 points! The 3-hour drive on the mountain road was worth it, it was so beautiful.
It rained when we went there on the first day, which gave it a different flavor. It was already beautiful.
The sky was clear when we had breakfast the next day. It was so beautiful. On one side was the forest stream, on the other side were the cattle and horses on the grassland. The smoke from the herdsmen's houses was rising, and the mountain mist filled the air.
I didn’t have any itinerary planned in the morning, so I just took photos and drank coffee at the hotel, 48 a cup. The book cafe seemed to be under renovation and there was no one around. I ordered coffee in the restaurant.
There is floor heating in the room, so it won't be cold at night. Check-out is delayed until 1 o'clock. Dinner is a little expensive, mainly because there are fewer of us. Otherwise, if there are many people, we can order hot pot. It's raining, and it's quite comfortable to eat hot pot and chat.
After checking out, we went to Qiongkushtai Village. There was a traffic accident in the back mountain, so we didn’t stop much and returned.
Not far from the hotel is Kayingde. Horse riding there is also a very good experience. There are few people, the grasslands are beautiful, and there are forests.
I will stay here again when I come to Qiongkushtai in the future."

The sanitation is very good, and the distance between the toilets is a bit cramped. The decoration, utensils, etc. are quite design. I will send iced fruit immediately after check-in.
The recommended authentic breakfast shop in Xinjiang is good. Turn right at the homestay and go out is the most styled departure from the street in Bagua City. I met two Aboriginal people preparing for the wedding. It was so good to go shopping and like this town!

I'd never ridden a horse before, but I learned at the hotel's equestrian center – it was fantastic! Horse riding and archery were quite challenging for someone from the south like me, but the coach was very patient. It's rare to see stars in Shanghai... this place with a sky full of stars and no light pollution at night was absolutely beautiful. Moving the in-room telescope to the patio for stargazing was amazing!

Our room type is a single-family, with a swimming pool in front of it, a small lawn yard behind it, surrounded by mountains before and after. Although it is not a snowy mountain, I think the scenery is not bad.
The facilities are very complete, dry and wet separation, there are two large mirrors, a desk, a huge TV, and a lot of washing machine dryers. The bedding is also very comfortable.
The service is particularly good. There is a security uncle to help with the luggage before and after the run, the front desk sister is very kind and patient. Breakfast is prepared according to the guests' wake-up time, and each family has a standard breakfast. The warm and comfortable atmosphere of the hotel lobby is furnished.
The hotel also has four cats, all sick and disabled cats are adopted by the kind store, and they are very good!

I didn't expect the housekeeper to welcome it warmly. He also specially reminded us that the Galaxy that night was particularly beautiful. GGuest UserFrom the moment I walked in, I felt that the courtyard was a different world. There were vegetation, flowers and fruit trees everywhere. I even asked the landlady if I could pick ripe apricots. The landlady told me to pick them if I liked. She was very kind.
In the afternoon, we saw some children experiencing an activity. They said they were making Xinjiang intangible cultural heritage stamp printing. The landlady also invited our group of friends to participate. After the activity, she also asked us to take our works back. These ethnic patterns are so pretty.
The room is beautifully decorated. I really like the upgraded room type given by the landlady. It feels so dreamy.
I got up the next day and had breakfast. During my trip, apart from the large hotels, only this B&B had a relatively rich breakfast, with rice noodles, eggs, milk, bread, and fruits. The rice noodles tasted very good.
It's a pity that the itinerary in Xinjiang is already scheduled. If I had time, I would have stayed one more night. Many places in the homestay are suitable for taking photos and posting on WeChat Moments. It's so unique. I forgot to mention that the fruit wine they brewed themselves is delicious.

酒店外觀很有設計感，內飾也不錯，整潔開闊，晚上看看星星，次日周邊村落散步，等於一個小度假了。
特別感謝民宿的姐姐們，帶我們去看小羊摘蘋果，一位短髮姐姐為我們做了很好吃的米粉當早餐，當天還送我們去客運中心❤️

I stayed at the campsite near Gasagan before, and the scenery was about the same, but the facilities at Wusun Xiadu were definitely more complete and convenient. I read a few negative reviews, which were quite funny. There's cell phone signal on the grassland, 24-hour electricity and water, and stunning views of Qiongkushitai and the Wusun Ancient Road right outside the door. Convenient food and breakfast options are available, and you can drive to Xianhuatai and Lieyingtai ahead of other tourists in the mornings and evenings – that's quite impressive, and not easy at all. Why not experience the grassland cabins with limited daily power generation before judging the rarity of the hotel facilities? I saw someone complaining about the lack of view from the room – aren't you living in a scenic area? Surrounded by grasslands and mountains right outside your door? Some people are complaining about insects – why come to the grasslands if you're worried about that? 😂 No wonder staff came to ask if I wanted them to clean up the moth corpses as soon as I checked in. Absolutely not! I love the pristine grassland surrounding me, with the sounds of insects and birds everywhere. If you want advanced and luxurious accommodations, stay in a big city. Some people's expectations are seriously mismatched with their itinerary – let the hotel off the hook. Under the eaves of the hotel reception area is a row of swallow nests. Adult swallows fly around feeding their chicks, and the nests are quite well-built. Guests with children shouldn't miss observing these nests; they are sturdy and beautiful, constructed from yellow mud—a type of nest that city swallows can no longer find. The surrounding area is rich in food, and you can see plump shrikes, sparrows, swallows, and many other small birds you don't recognize hunting—a great place for birdwatching. As for the scenery, Kalajun is the pinnacle of Yili; the vast, alpine grassland scenery is no exaggeration. My only concern is that it may not be as pristine as it once was. Beautiful scenery requires both keen eyes and favorable weather; I'm grateful for both.
