Heraklion Hotels with Bars

"Looks great in the pictures, though it's quite old, the walls are dirty, the toilet is dripping constantly. It's a very basic hotel, that's why I believe the price I paid wasn't worth it. Buffet at the 6th floor has a nice view of the port, and breakfast looks ok for €8, I haven't eaten there. They squiz fresh oranges! Lovely staff!"

"The reception was very warm and thoughtful. I just arrived at the hotel to send the free mint soda special drink, because our flight was late, they also gave late check out. Helping to call a taxi, store luggage, etc. is also very skilled and fast, the room is clean, because we are traveling in the off-season, this store is very cost-effective"

"The hotel has good rooms with a fantastic breakfast and decent location. We did have one major issue with a school group that ran up and down the halls all night, banging on the doors, screaming and slamming doors. We brought up this issue several times with the hotel staff and nothing was done about it. This ended up costing us a day of exploring the city because we needed to sleep when they finally stopped at 7am. There are other reviews with similar issues so I would be cautious about booking here if you don't want to have similar issues."

"We stayed for 12 nights in total. We asked for a room with south-facing windows but it was never given to us, even when the room was empty. It was so unfriendly. The older cleaners were very serious, but the younger ones were very bad. They were not timely and did not put away the items. Complaints were useless. The breakfast was very good. Although the variety was the same every day, it was rich and very Cretan."

"Stayed here 1 night as an extra night due to late flight arrival times so we didn’t burn a day at our all inclusive. Hotel is brand new, clean, comfortable and very well located. As a family of 4 we had a double joining room. Staff were absolutely brilliant and went out their way to be so friendly and nice. It had a small gym but all good equipment, perfect for a short stay, breakfast buffet was decent for a short stay… Would highly recommend if you want a modern, clean and nice hotel. We spent the part of the day exploring Heraklion before heading to Panormos to our all inclusive. A+"

"The hotel is stunned, in all its manifestations, breakfast 5 stars, insecurity on the roof did not use but are sure of the number of occupied tables near there everything is good, visited in spa, area on 5 service on 5, massage level of guys forgive 3 points, Crete would recommend? "Redelijk hotel. Ruime kamers. Moderne interieur, maar er is weinig aandacht voor de hotelgasten. Communicatie gaat over het algemeen via whatsapp. Dat is prima, maar weinig persoonlijkheid, wat we in andere hotels op kreta meer hadden. Helaas niet heel schoon. We hadden strandhanddoeken gevraagd. Speciale handdoeken voor strand hadden ze niet maar desondanks bereid om te helpen. Beperkt aantal eigen parkeerplaatsen, maar over het algemeen kun je op straat wel een plek vinden."

"Hotel location is good, close to the commercial street, to the bus terminal, the port ten minutes walk. But the front desk service level is poor, the professionalism is insufficient, especially the young lady on duty in the afternoon. We booked three rooms for 7 of us. On the first day, each room was given a door card, and each person was required to have a ticket. She repeatedly negotiated many times. She opened the topic and did not respond positively. Another lady at the front desk knew our request and made a few door cards for us. We have two family rooms, arranged the wrong room (different room types), opened the luggage, and repacked the room. We stayed for three days, the refrigerator had two bottles of bottled water (two people's room), and it was not added after cleaning. Negotiating with her, saying that it was the hotel's policy to supply free bottled water for a day, and the tenants would buy it on the first floor in the future. Talking again, she simply ignored her black face! The most outrageous thing was the last day. When we had breakfast in the morning, 3 of us took our luggage to the lobby to check out after dinner and rushed to the pier to take the boat. The men on duty at the front desk did not let their suitcases in and had to be placed outside the door (out of sight at the front desk). The three suitcases after the meal are gone! We hurried to negotiate with the man on duty, who did not know that it might have been loaded to the dock. We ran into the street and a group of people was loading the car to retrieve our luggage. This was the worst service of the four hotels we stayed in during our trip to Greece and the only one we gave a bad review."

"Great hotel, the rooms were spotless, the cleaning staff were attentive and friendly, the front desk staff was cheerful and extremely helpful when I needed some meds on a Sunday. They searched for a pharmacy that was open, and then called to make sure. Great place. And the breakfast is very comprehensive!"
