"This was a wonderful hostel to stay at, and really made me enjoy my stay in Kanazawa. It's right in the middle, beyween the garden, the samurai district and the chaya district, so it was perfect for getting around, and very close to the train station. The people working here are super sweet and they even have some plum wine in the evenings for guests. The staff mainly stays in their sister hostel, however the hostel itself is very secure and the door is always locked. It's always nice for a quick rest as well between wandering, and there's a delicious ramen restaurant a minute walk away."

"Words cannot describe how great this hotel is. The rooms are spacious and clean, the downstairs common area is beautiful, and the food available is stunning. But nothing even comes close to the hosts. They are such genuine and lovely people, easy to chat to and proud of what they have. My first night I was somewhat anxious but the host was so warm and welcoming, leading to us having some lovely conversations over a nice glass of beer. Even after I had forgotten to return my key after checkout, the host offered me to drive me back to the station in order to get the train. This didnt feel like typical service, it felt like pure genuine kindness and pride for a lovely business.
If you're in Kanazawa you'd be doing yourself a disservice by not going here. Even if you're not staying, swing by for lunch or one of their extensive range of teas."

"This is the kind of homestay where many people live together. There is only a separate space for three people, and the rest are public facilities. The hotel’s location is about 10-15 minutes away from the station. In a street full of restaurants, the convenience store is far away, but the izakaya next to it is very characteristic. There are more locals, the owner is very enthusiastic, and a large conch is also presented. . The owner of the hotel is very nice and enthusiastic, and patiently help us guide the way. It may be that we are used to living in an environment with a separate bathroom, but feel that the private space is too small and inconvenient. There is nothing in the room except the quilt. We are not used to it and can only go out and stroll around. If you don’t mind these, language communication is barrier-free, and those willing to interact with locals, you can choose here."

"Hakuchoro is a classic in Kanzawa, the decor is very tastefully done and the overall atmosphere has character. It’s onsen is natural spring water and though the bath are relatively modest, it never gets crowded. They provide free bus shuttles to and from the Kanazawa station and is a very helpful feature. Rooms are large and well appointed and everything in the fridge - water, tea, orange juice and beers are free and topped up everyday. The stained glass in the lobby area and in the rooms are nice touched included the very nice pottery ware used for breakfast! Breakfast buffet spread is both western and Japanese and they even now have sparkling wine and sake for breakfast!
Definitely has character!"

"Facilities: For Japan, a 34 sqm room is excellent – spacious and comfortable. The only downside is that the buildings are very close together, so you can clearly see into the neighboring units.
Cleanliness: Clean and tidy.
Environment: Right downstairs is Kanazawa Station, two large shopping malls, and various convenience stores.
Service: This is where I have to complain! It states no room service from 9 PM to 7 AM, but even at 9 AM, no one answered when I called for room service. Also, they refused to help me book Myoryuji Temple every time I asked."

"It was very clean and the room was quiet. It is conveniently located within walking distance of Kanazawa's main tourist attractions."
"It's very convenient because it's next to the station. There is also a large public bath, so I think it's good value for money. There are also many amenities, and I was grateful that they gave me new towels every day. The room is still very small, but I think it's more than enough if you just want to sleep."

"Overall, a very satisfying hotel experience.
**Location:** Extremely convenient, just a 3-minute walk from Kanazawa Station. It was great to be able to drop off shopping anytime, and there's a mall right outside.
**Room:** Very spacious and clean. Since I booked for two adults and one child, they had all three beds made up, which shows great attention to detail. There's also a simple kitchenette, though we didn't use it, and a very convenient dining table.
**Facilities:** The hotel has public coin-operated washers and dryers, which were usually free during the day. There's also a gym next door.
**Dining:** The breakfast was quite substantial, with both hot and cold options. What was really nice was that from after breakfast until evening, there's complimentary tea, coffee, and even alcoholic beverages in the lobby. The lobby also has a 24-hour self-service convenience store."

"The hotel is industrial and youthful, and the details are quite design-oriented. The front desk spoke good English when checking in, so communication was stress-free. Free drinks and beer are provided, and bicycles are available for rent next to the lobby on the first floor. In fact, if the weather is good, Kanazawa is indeed suitable for cycling around the city.
The room area is also spacious among Japanese rooms. Two 28-inch suitcases can be spread out, and people will not bump into anything when walking inside. It is about 1.5 kilometers away from Kanazawa Station, Kenrokuen Garden, etc., which is acceptable even if you take a taxi~"

AAylwin Au⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5-Star Stay at Shed Hotel
Shed Hotel is a wonderful place to stay. We arrived at Shenzhen Airport around 2:00 pm and were pleased to find that the hotel provides shuttle pickup, which made our arrival very smooth and convenient.
We stayed for one night, booking 3 rooms for 6 people. The service was excellent from start to finish. The staff were warm, professional, very helpful, and proactive in assisting us with our needs.
The rooms were very clean, well maintained, and comfortable. The beds were especially good, ensuring a restful night’s sleep.
Overall, it was a great experience, and I would highly recommend Shed Hotel to anyone visiting Shenzhen. Definitely a 5-star stay.
GGuest UserOverall, it was okay. I arrived at 12:30 and they allowed me to check in straight away. It's located between Omicho Market and Higashichaya. While it's close to Omicho Market, it's not exactly in a great location.
The hotel has the feel of a guesthouse. There's a cafe and bar on the first floor, and a water server.
It's a hotel with a guesthouse feel, with private rooms.
The rooms are average. The doors don't auto-lock. They're reasonably spacious. The bathroom is very small. The room quality isn't high, but it's not inconvenient. It's nice that the TV is a smart TV.
There are no particular issues, but there aren't any special services or facilities, and it's not particularly good value for money. There are many good, cheap hotels in Kanazawa, so personally I prefer regular hotels.
GGuest UserThe staff were very polite, the room was clean, and the breakfast was delicious.
It was a bit disappointing that the refrigerator didn't cool well and the toilet seat would get hot and cold.
Still, the location was convenient for sightseeing, and it was quiet and I was able to relax, so I think it was great.
GGuest UserThe first time I went to Kanazawa, the hotel was great. It was suitable for family and children. There was a separate washing machine in the bathroom. There was also a drying rack in the muji room. The fragrance spray refrigerator and the freezer were also prepared. There was a supermarket next door downstairs. I bought some delicious ice cream in the refrigerator. It was really square. Just next to the hotel front desk is a small bar. At night, I will listen to the vinyl records. I will drink a whisky. Special reminder. We live on the 9th floor (top floor) and have a balcony. You can see the scenery outside at any time. I just watched the fireworks and sunrise that day. A great experience.
AAnonymous UserExcellent hotel with a beautiful view from the window. The hotel has a separate entrance, located next to Hotel Forza (which is across the street). Google Maps shows the entrance through the shopping center, which is also accessible, but you'd have to walk through the entire store to get to the elevator. The reception is on the 16th floor. The staff were very polite and helpful with everything; the rooms had all the necessary amenities.
GGuest UserI made a reservation for 2 nights and 3 days for my daughter's university entrance exam, but later decided to book an additional night, so we stayed for 3 nights and 4 days. The room for the 2 nights was not available, so we planned to use a different room for the 1st night, but they adjusted it so that we stayed in the same room for all 3 nights. My daughter was nervous about staying alone and taking the exam, but they kindly agreed to our request for a wake-up call and included a letter saying ”Please come visit us again” when we left, so we are very grateful for their warm hospitality.
Thank you very much.
We would definitely like to use your services again.
