Tangier Hotels with Bars

"The staff are incredibly kind and helpful, nothing to complain about there. However, wow, this hotel is definitely not worth the price – I'm glad I only booked one night! I got my room at 4 PM instead of 3 PM, and then when I got in, there were no towels. Plus, I was stuck for 15 minutes because the door was jammed! By the time I got another room, it was past 5 PM. There's a valet service, but you'll be waiting 15-30 minutes for your car! If your room faces the pool, you'll be hearing very loud music until 2 AM. Again, the staff are amazing, but there's a serious lack of organization, and for such an expensive hotel, that's really not good."

"De service was uitstekend. Het zwembad was super fijn. En een gemoedelijke sfeer."

"I've stayed at the Occidental multiple times before and have always been very satisfied. I was so impressed with my previous stays that I recommended the hotel to friends. So, my disappointment this time was even greater. For two people, we received a very small and old room that was not at all comfortable. When we arrived, there were no towels in the room, neither hand towels nor bath towels. We called reception and waited over 30 minutes, but nothing came. Eventually, I had to firmly speak to the cleaning staff in the hallway just to get any towels. The next day, the same thing happened again. There was only one bath towel for two people. We called reception again and asked for another towel, but it was never brought. It's absolutely unacceptable to me that basic things don't work in a hotel and that no solution is provided despite multiple complaints. Additionally, it was barely possible to sleep until late at night due to loud conversations and disturbing noise from the neighboring rooms and the hallway. On our last night, we had to leave for the airport at 1:30 AM. Due to the persistent noise, we practically couldn't sleep at all and started our entire journey completely exhausted. Precisely because I used to value the Occidental so much, this stay particularly disappointed me. The service was at a shockingly low level. My trust has been permanently damaged. Under these circumstances, I can no longer wholeheartedly recommend the hotel."

"The hotel's facilities are excellent. This is my third time in Tangier, and this is by far the best hotel I've stayed in. The only minor issue is that it can get a little noisy when there's a lot of foot traffic downstairs due to the bus stop, but it wasn't a major problem. I think this will still be my top choice for future visits."

"Ibis Hotels are always my top choice because they're clean, convenient, have a lovely environment, and great service. The hot water is especially comfortable, making showers really pleasant. It was a great travel experience, and I'll definitely choose them again next time."

"A very good hotel with European-level service. The staff is polite and always tries to help. It was a pleasant surprise to receive a room upgrade with a sea view for my birthday. The breakfasts are delicious and offer a great variety. It's convenient to have a swimming pool. There's also a small pool on the rooftop, but we didn't use it as it looked like it hadn't been cleaned in a while. Even though I mentioned it to the manager at the reception, they only removed the floating debris, but the tiles remained just as dirty. We recommend installing a smart box to allow streaming from a phone to the plasma TV in the room. It's also conveniently located for getting to the train station, with a 2-hour train ride to Casablanca. There are many restaurants, cafes, and shops within walking distance."

"I was really amazed when I walked in. The environment is very good. It is the best in the surrounding area. It is cost-effective and a great experience. It is really good."

"The scale and interiors of the hotel are impressive, the renovation and furniture are fresh. Huge halls, 2 restaurants and 2 bars, access to the casino, a large swimming pool, good breakfasts. But there are serious downsides: cleaning in the hotel is at a weak level, to the point that every day we had to ask for towels (they forgot to put them) and toilet paper. We (a non-smoking family with a child) were placed in a smoking wing, and also in a connected room with perfect audibility of neighbors. From the hotel there is access to the public beach, but it leaves much to be desired: many stones in the water and on the shore, a lot of garbage and local vacationers, we advise you to take coral slippers."

"The hotel is located in an upscale area ”up in the hills,” not far from the marina and the seaside promenade. The hotel itself is impeccable, but personally, I feel that none of the Fairmont hotels I've stayed at have had a truly surprising breakfast."

"For Morocco, this hotel is actually pretty good. It's not far from the beach and conveniently located near the train station, and not too far from the airport either. The room had everything from a kettle to slippers, which was much better equipped than the hotel I stayed at in Barcelona. Perhaps it's a global chain."
