Zambales Hotels with Bars

"The place is okay. It was fully packed when we arrived, so we had to wait a little before checking in. I don't think they were fully prepared for it. The hotel's prices are a bit high I know it's a holiday, but since we stayed four nights, We should have been able to get a lower rate. You might understand when you check in. I would recommend it, but maybe during a non holiday season. The hotel has two swimming pools one with a restaurant and the other on the 6th floor with a diner. Food: Not so great I would rate it 5/10. They are often out of stock for some orders. I say this respectfully all the staff are friendly, but at least in the pool area, they are not very attentive. Most are in the bar, not paying much attention except for one guy probably half filipino and something, with light skinned, who is always at the door serving us. He’s good and deserves a 10/10 rating. Room: It's okay, but not worth the price. The soap and shampoo are not good they are mini bar-sized. Regarding the room service, I would give the attendant “Ronnel”, I believe a 10/10. He was approachable and greeted us with a genuine smile. All activities are available, but it's better to ask directly outside the beach before approaching the hotel staff. Overall, I would give the hotel 8/10. I would come back, it's especially good for families with kids."

"A+ on customer service, the staff were all very kind, smiling, and accommodating. Breakfast buffet options are limited but, they were all very good! And the selection changes every day."

"The staff are so friendly and the place are clean. The shower is a bit cold. But overall service and place is awesome. We appreciate that they allow us to have early checkin around 11am instead of the 2pm in the guidelines. Thank you. We will be coming back soon. The only inconvenience that we have is that we thought we have free breakfast because it is shown in the confirmation email from Trip.com but the confirmation that the villa got is only for the room and no breakfast included."

"The pub part of the offer was outstanding, Magners on tap, real British pub atmosphere, best calamares I had in decades. Nice seats watching out on the bay. Could not be sny better in England. The rooms were rather soso, and I don’t mean the size or rudimentary furniture. There were small ants all over so I kept my suitcase closed. There was a loud fan in the room and a rattling a/c in the bathroom window. The shower fittings were adventurous and the water flow very low. And the rental requirements did not make me feel really welcome, read yourself to make your own opinion. I had a quick dip in the water in the morning and left a day early. In general, I would rather pay 10 bucks more and have a decent shower and a/c and no bugs in my room."

"All was great in this hotel except for the delay in check-in. But we do appreciate that they offered a late check-out in lieu of the delay. "The hotel is quite new and has modern look and feel.  They have ample parking for guests and have reserved slots for Accor members. The room is clean and spacious and has modern furnitures and fixtures.  They have the basic amenities like smart tv, ref, separate toilet and bath, hair dryer, slippers, and shampoo and shower gel. I love their brewed coffee which I ordered from their cafeteria near the reception area and is reasonably priced. The hotel is just opposite the Harbor Point mall and nearby restaurants. What I like most are the warm and friendly staff who are always smiling and make you feel at home. However, since this hotel just opened and is not yet fully-operational, there are many rooms for improvement: 1. AC control installed in the room is not working so requested for a remote control.  Not sure if the battery is fully-charged but there is delayed reaction when I change the settings like temperature. 2. I requested for a room with queen sized bed and near the elevator since my wife is a PWD but these were ignored and we got a room with two single beds and quite far from the elevator.  Then requested for a room change but the room being assigned to us was at the ground floor and there was a strong smell of paint so we opted to stay at the room initially given to us.  Requested to just put the two beds together to form a single but bigger bed and waited for the hotel staff to arrive but we waited too long and finished our light dinner without seeing the hotel staff.  So just requested the hotel to cancel the request so we can rest already since we arrived past 8pm and we were already tired. 3. They gave a WhatsApp number to reach in case guests have requests since there are still no phones in the rooms.  Tried sending a message but no quick reply.  So just called the number and got an apology and feedback.  Maybe they should assign someone to monitor the messages so they can respond quickly to guests. 4.  We were having breakfast at our room when there was a brownout.  No back up generator so we were in dark for about 10-20 minutes.  Also no emergency lights in the room so we had to open the curtains to get natural light.  We were supposed to check out before 12noon but since there was no power, we requested for a late checkout which was granted.  Thank you. Hope the hotel can complete all unfinished work and level up soon. Thank you to the staff for a wonderful short stay."

"The location of this inn is really good, especially that the event we will be attending is just in the yacht club. This inn is accessible to many areas. Cleanliness is good given that this is one of the oldest inn in town. Plus you can assure that linens and towel are fresh. Also, I would have to commend the receptionist and the room attendant that time, we arrived early (around 10am) but they allow to check-in already and let us rest for a 4pm event. For a short stay in Subic, a recommend this inn"

"Among the hotels nearby... it's probably the best... but it's a pity. Ants in the room and swimming pool. There were a lot of bugs like... I was bitten by unknown bugs in about 10 places all over my body. The restaurant was okay, It was free on weekdays (there were no customers) so it was easy to use the swimming pool. Not long after the typhoon passed, the nearby beaches were dirty. I have no intention of revisiting. The photo and the actual product are very different, and it is not good for the price."

"Pros+ - before booking, I asked the girls at the reception to show me the room, they showed me the room and after that I booked the room. + - delicious breakfast, but the website said that you could go to lunch instead of breakfast, at the reception they said that it was only breakfast. + good worker, helped out many times, showed how to use the safe, forgot the key in the room, he opened it for me. Cons - it seems that the pool is not cleaned, a lot of insects are swimming, I wanted to swim, but did not dare. Cunning staff - they reminded me that I did not return the card from the door, but did not tell me anything about the fact that I forgot the deposit of 2000 pesos, when I came 5 hours later, my money was taken to another place. A taxi at the hotel costs 500 pesos for foreigners"
