Makati Hotels with Pools

The Peninsula Hotel boasts an excellent location, close to Ayala Mall and Ayala Museum! It's definitely worth exploring the area! This neighborhood is very safe, so there's no need to worry. From the moment you enter, the staff greet you with warm smiles, making you feel completely at ease. The coconut trees in the lobby add a lovely tropical touch, and the piano accompaniment in the main hall creates a very elegant atmosphere!

The location is excellent. There's a shopping mall and plenty of food options right downstairs, and it's very easy to get a taxi to anywhere in the city. The hotel is clean, and having laundry facilities was a huge plus. The staff were also very friendly, helpful, and always willing to assist. I had a very pleasant stay.

For a 5 star hotel, the service is very annoying. They would call me randomly to ask for feedback a few hours after I checked in. They would knock on my door early in the morning while I'm still sleeping to do a ”room check”... On the day of my check out, I had a knock on the door a bit past 9am, I ignored it as I was still in bed but they kept ringing the bell. I finally got up and the lady asked ”is there anything I can help with?”. Yes leave me alone. I went back to bed to rest and then got a phone call soon after as a reminder that check out is at 12pm. It's not even 10am yet and your staff already interrupted my sleep twice. Trying to get the room clean involves multiple phone calls. Once I left it to see how long it would take but at 6pm, I had to call since they never came during the day. Another time they cleaned, the cleaners said they ran out of towels so there would be someone who would deliver soon. I forgot about it until we went to have a shower and then it took almost an hour for the towels to arrive so we had to wait to use the bathroom as they took away the dirty towels so we didn't have anything to dry ourselves. Don't order room service. The food is very bad. I actually gagged on a drink they prepared. The TV is very old, they are still using cable technology. WiFi is patchy. Trying to get up and down the lift is a nightmare if you come at the wrong time as the line gets backed up all the way out into the street. My girlfriend was stopped by over eager security staff when she was trying to leave to buy some snacks as the room service meals were so bad even tho she had a room key and they would not let her up to the lobby on the 6th floor without me. Instead, I had to go down and pick her up from the ground floor where she was sitting in the corner like she was in trouble.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Wonderful Stay – Highly Recommended! I really enjoyed my stay here. The hotel is clean, comfortable, and in a great location, making it easy to get around and explore the city. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and always willing to help whenever I needed assistance. The location is one of its biggest advantages. It’s just a short drive from Greenbelt, Glorietta, Ayala Triangle Gardens, and Bonifacio Global City (BGC), making it a great base for shopping, restaurants, cafés, and sightseeing. The only issue I experienced was with the iron. On my first day, I wasn’t able to get one because I was told they were all in use. I assume the hotel either has only one iron or not enough to meet guest demand. It wasn’t a major problem, but having a few more irons available would definitely improve the guest experience, especially for travelers who need to prepare their clothes before heading out. Overall, I had a fantastic stay and would happily come back. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable, well-located place to stay in Manila.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Great stay at GemstoneBR – SMDC Air Residences I really enjoyed my stay at GemstoneBR in SMDC Air Residences. The apartment was clean, comfortable and very well equipped, especially if you’re staying for more than just a night or two. One thing I really appreciated was how much was provided inside the unit. There’s a proper kitchen with a fridge, microwave, stove, kettle, rice cooker, plates, utensils and other cooking essentials, so you can actually prepare your own meals. There’s also a washing machine, which was extremely convenient during my stay. The apartment itself was cosy and nicely decorated. I loved the little living area with the sofa and Smart TV, and having Netflix and YouTube available made it easy to relax when I didn’t feel like going out. The bedroom was comfortable, and I also appreciated the slippers, toiletries and other small essentials that were provided. Those little touches made the apartment feel more welcoming. The bathroom has a hot shower and they even provide a hairdryer. Everything you need for a comfortable stay is basically already there. The location was another big plus for me. SMDC Air Residences is in Makati, so it was convenient for getting around, and having shops and other essentials nearby made things much easier. Overall, I had a very comfortable stay and I think GemstoneBR is a great option if you want something that feels more like a little home than just a hotel room. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it, especially for solo travellers or anyone planning a longer stay in Manila. ❤️

Just wanted to give some feedback, so many things went wrong. When I checked in at 12 PM, they gave me room 2303. I went up, but couldn't open the door for a while, so I had to go back down. After waiting for quite some time, they gave me another room, 2304. I noticed it was a twin room, and the beds were tiny, like 1 meter wide? If they were bigger, I would have just dealt with it since I was exhausted from traveling all day. But they were really too small for what I paid; I might as well have stayed at a regular guesthouse. If I asked the front desk to change rooms again, I'd have to go back down and wait at least 20 minutes. The front desk kept telling me to wait, even after I told them I booked a room with two large beds and showed them my reservation. They still made me wait, and wait, and wait. Then they told me to go back to my room and wait. I asked how long, it felt like forever. I even thought about trying to push the beds together. Anyway, I put up with all that, but then there was no hot water for my shower. I was naked, waiting for them to come and fix it for over 10 minutes. It's now 2:15 AM. Also, there was no comb, no slippers, no shower cap, and no cotton swabs.

What I like about this hotel is the location and the aesthetically pleasing rooms. The bathtub is also a plus. Breakfast selection needs some improvement. Service is great and the lady at the front desk, Zea, is very accomodating and very helpful.

I had a fantastic stay at Berjaya Makati. The location is unbeatable right in the heart of the business district, with Greenbelt and Glorietta malls just a short walk away for shopping and dining. The room was clean, spacious, and the bed was incredibly comfortable. What really stood out was the staff; they were friendly, professional, and went out of their way to accommodate my early check-in request. The pool area is a nice oasis after a long day of meetings. Highly recommended for both business and leisure travelers!”

The building is located at the heart of makati. Its a quick walk to Greenbelt. Walk a bit more to the other side and you can explore the Salcedo and Legazpi weekend Markets. Only drawback is the Lift (elevator) that is still going through repairs. Takes awhile to get up and down.

Room is very same as photo, complete kitchen utensils and everything was brandnew, I dont like high floor so this 7th floor room is perfect to me. Amenities was good, The free sauna is what i like here since i dont swim. But the highlight was the location, I was very close to rockwell and filling station in poblacion. There was a very good biryani restau downstairs just a few walking distance only. Thank you, will definitely be back again and would stay longer.
