Great sandbars at low tide are perfect for anyone. At low tide you can walk to Salt Island on the sandbars to explore! It is a short walk to town and Waters Edge Resort. In the area there are many great restaurants as well as summer activities. Mystic Seaport , Mystic Aquarium, Essex Steam train, and the Clinton and Westbrook outlets are all a short drive away. The historical Goodspeed Opera House , as well as the Ivoryton Playhouse are available for some terrific shows in the evenings! The rental has a backyard for children to play and a grill for parents to barbeque. There is a large outdoor shower and dressing room for your convenience with hot and cold running water. The front patio features a table and umbrella as well as a scenic view of the beach and water.The rental sleeps 5 maximum. There is a fully equipped kitchen, living room, 3 bedrooms and 1 bath.Bedroom one has a king sized bed. Bedroom 2 has one twin bed, and bedroom 3 has 2 twin beds.You must provide your own linens and towels, we provide the bedspreads. If you would like us to provide the linens, there is an additional fee of $30 per bed/person.Rentals are weekly from Saturday to Saturday from late June to the beginning of September. Relaxing 4 Bedroom house with two baths and an outdoor shower on a double lot. Sleeps 8 comfortably. The house is surrounded by blueberry bushes which will supply berries for breakfast many summer mornings in July and August!! Walk to the beach just down the sidewalk - only seven houses away!! The beach is private for the community. There are also rocks to crab and dive from. The beach is self contained in a cove. House includes a dining room and a screened porch for game playing and reading. Many games and puzzles are available in the book shelves. The large yard provides room for a fire pit, games such as corn hole, croquet, frisbee etc. In the winter the fireplace is available for use with permission.The house includes a washer and dryer, two Smart TV's and fast internet. The house is located near Water’s Edge resort, fine restaurants and excellent shopping. The house is only a short distance from Essex and Old Saybrook by car. Both historic towns to visit and enjoy. The train to New York and Boston is nearby via the stations in Westbrook and Old Saybrook. The town of Mystic is only 30 miles away to the East. Mystic is the home of the Mystic Seaport and Mystic Aquarium. 20 miles to the West is Yale University and the city of New Haven. Famous Wooster Street is worth a visit by car.
