Best Beppu Hotels

I’m glad that we chose Amane Gahama for our family vacation because it’s spacious and the private hot spring was awesome with both in and out door options. It’s a little inconvenient that breakfast was located in the sister hotel next door, but the hotel had arranged buggy for transport which the kids are happy about it.

Located right on top of a hill. Seaview is pretty far from hotel room... Thus nothing much to see anyway. As the Onsen is actually a bathtub attached to the inroom shower, the sulphur smell is very strong alike rotten eggs. Stayed for one night and is a good experience.

Kamenoi Hotel Beppu is conveniently located near the JR station and main bus terminal, making it easy to travel to various parts of the city, including Beppu's Jigoku, via public transport. The hotel features a hot spring bath, perfect for the adventurous traveller looking to relax after a day of exploration. The rooms are more spacious than the typical Japanese hotel, which is especially beneficial for those travelling with children or large luggage.

I’m so glad that this hotel had a renewal earlier this year. It looks very new and clean now. It also has a fantastic location — only a 3-minute walk from Beppu Station and it is surrounded by numerous shops and restaurants. The huge Beppu Don Quijote is only 10 minutes away by foot. Luggage can also be stored at the cloak room for free before check-in. The onsen and sauna was very clean too! I had a really comfortable stay at this hotel.

I didn't know it was an unmanned hotel when I made the reservation. The hotel didn't send me check-in information, so check-in took a long time. Then there was no elevator, which surprised me! You have to carry your suitcase up the stairs! The room is also clean. The kitchen has various utensils which are very convenient. There is also a washing machine in the room. But it turned out that I had to turn on the water heater myself to take a shower, and I looked for the switch for a while. The neighborhood is not very busy, but there is a donki to visit. The Korean Yuan braised pork nearby is delicious.

Very good, very suitable for our group of 5 people, there are places to eat around, the room is very big, fully equipped, cut 1 point when checking in because the passcode does not send, have to call and the service is a bit late. Other than that, it's all good. There is a parking lot as well.

It’s better to find it at night. It’s very close to Beppu Station. It takes about 10 minutes to walk according to the map. The room is on the 2nd floor. If the box is heavy, it’s a bit difficult to move.

The hotel is very close to Beppu Station, about a 5-minute walk away, but check-in is a bit troublesome. I don't think I need to confirm with the hotel beforehand. The hotel will send me the check-in voucher code again, so I have to wait on the street in the cold weather. Fortunately, I contacted trip.com and the staff responded immediately, but it took me 20-30 minutes to get into the hotel. It was a very bad experience😢😢😢😢

The hotel room is small but adequate for dinner in the room. There are also two family soups that require an appointment. There is also a soup, because there are not too many people can enjoy a more intimate space. It was a very satisfying stay.
