On the plus side, it’s close to both the metro and train stations, which is convenient. The neighborhood is also average — not the best area to stay in Berlin, but not the worst either.

in a word: Excellent. The location is perfect, since public transport in Berlin is always available and wherever you are, it is always easy to find your way back to Ostbahnhof. Staff is friendly and helpful and it is a treat to get a drink at the 24h bar.
