"Xiling Town truly is a beautiful natural paradise with mountains and rivers. I absolutely love the traditional architectural style here. We stayed at this guesthouse again and fell in love with it, along with my friends. The hostesses personally welcomed us and provided amazing service ❤️. They even added extra towels for us, worried we wouldn't have enough. The room design was incredibly comfortable, and with the river just outside the window, listening to its sounds while sitting on the chair felt truly purifying for the soul. The bathroom in the room deserves a special mention – it was fantastic, superb! For us Malaysians 🇲🇾, it was incredibly accommodating. It had a Western-style toilet with electronic features and even a heated seat. The hostesses also cooked breakfast themselves; the hot noodles truly warmed our hearts ❤️. The guesthouse is also very close to the bus station, making it convenient for us to catch the bus."

"Clean and comfortable room with very good beds, warm quilts and a choice of pillows.
The hot springs were great and the service staff excellent. There are more than one hot spring pools.
Breakfast was very good with a very large selection of foods. The standard was very high.
The only thing which we felt wasn’t great was the noise of children screaming all over the resort and the incessant fireworks until around 10pm. That is not the hotel’s fault, but their guests. I’m not sure what could be done to improve this, as it affects all guests.
I would stay here again though, for sure. The proximity to Xiling Snow Mountain (20 minutes by car), the comfortable bed and the excellent breakfast are all a big plus!"

"Overall, it was pretty good. It was my first time staying in a tent. The room was quite spacious, and right outside the tent was snow. Walking a short distance to the restroom was fine, though it was a bit inconvenient to go at night because of how cold it was. Inside the room, it was warm enough, but even with the heater and electric blanket on, the air still felt a bit chilly. It was perfectly fine once you were snuggled under the covers. The rooms were quite private, with a good distance between other tents, so overall safety felt good. This kind of stay is nice for one night for the experience, but probably not ideal for a longer stay. I originally wanted to try the 'stove-boiled tea' experience, but it was a bit pricey for just me, and they weren't offering it in the evening, so I skipped it. The service was good; you could communicate via WeChat, and the environment was also nice. There was snow everywhere, and for a first-time experience, it was pretty decent."

"We're a family of 6 with young children. Trying to book a hotel at Xiling Snow Mountain can be tricky. We're lucky to have gotten this hotel. The location is great! Conveniently located right beside the cable car station.
About the hotel, we booked 3 separate rooms for the family as the instructions on Trip.com weren't so clear. But I realised I could have just booked 2 rooms instead of 3. This is a booking tip 😄
The hotel breakfast is pretty simple. There's egg fried rice, vegetables, croissant, biscuits, noodles, dumplings, mantou, pau, etc.. It costs 39yuan per person. We paid for breakfast so we can at least eat the mantou, red bean pau and bread. There's a simple coffee machine too.
As it's very conveniently located, you can be the first to arrive at the cable car station. There are also some food options nearby. For my Muslim friends, there are no Halal food options. But what we did was to order only 1 dish from the hotel, Tomato and Egg noodles soup. It costs 28yuan. Overall, I would like to commend the hotel staff. As we're non-chinese speaking with lots of questions, they were really patient with all the translations. There's also a bus just below which connects the Xiling Snow Mountain to Dayi Highspeed Train area which is very convenient."

On the 5th floor, there's a laundry room and a gym, where you can wash and dry clothes. The front desk service was also superb. In the lobby, they offer hot water, drinks, and cookies, and someone immediately offers you hot water as soon as you enter. The service was very thoughtful. The environment is also nice, with plenty of convenient dining options nearby. This stay was a fantastic experience. The front desk had many cute little pandas on display, which looked great. "We arrived at Xiling Snow Mountain on June 1, 2026, and after a walk-in survey of two hotel rooms, we chose the Maple Leaf Hotel and booked it on the spot via Trip.com.
1) First, I want to commend the service of the front desk lady (black jacket in picture one) – her attitude was excellent.
2) As there was sufficient availability, we were assigned Room 126, a ground-floor room that didn't require stairs and offered a view of the snowy landscape from the window. The room had been renovated, and the underfloor heating worked perfectly. The hotel was spacious, bright, clean, and hygienic.
3) The hotel is about a 10-minute walk to the snow scenic area, but it involves a few steps (outdoor stairs without handrails).
4) The price included breakfast; additionally, we received an RMB 100 dining discount voucher.
5) The hotel does not have an elevator, so it's best to communicate with the front desk in advance if you're traveling with elderly people or children."

The rooms are spacious, clean, and wonderfully quiet at night. The service is exceptional, with staff demonstrating the warmth and attentiveness typically found in star-rated hotels. "Just finished my stay at this hotel, and I must say it's been one of the most unexpectedly delightful experiences recently. From the moment of arrival, every single detail showed the hotel's meticulous care.
The hotel rooms are designed with expansive views, offering picturesque cityscapes or garden scenery through floor-to-ceiling windows. The bedding is soft and comfortable, and even the mini-bar selection shows thoughtful consideration. I particularly appreciated the hotel's attention to detail – excellent soundproofing, a smart and convenient lighting and curtain system, and even thoughtfully placed power outlets. The private hot spring was superb in terms of privacy and comfort.
The staff were warm and efficient, even setting up a private service group to assist us.
The most impressive thing was when I realized my child had left their glasses in the room after we had checked out. I contacted the hotel staff, and they promptly helped find them and immediately arranged to mail them back to us. Hats off to their service!
I've already recommended this hotel to several friends and look forward to returning for another stay soon."

The light is good and transparent. I was originally going to Chengdu for only one day, but I extended my stay because the room was nice. I had to catch the high-speed train early the next day, but I think it was worth it. The service of the lady at the front desk was very good. I recommend it!

During night time the boss here saved us from being charger by didi driver which ask us for extra charge. The next night, They also send and pickup us to nearby town for hot spring with affordable charges. They also helped us to book bus ticket to go back to chengdu and asked the bus driver to pick us up at hotel instead of the bus station. Thank you so much for the hospitality and would be happy to come here again!

This was my first time trying this hotel, and I was impressed. The environment is excellent, the service attitude is superb, and it definitely lives up to its price. The hotel is very new, very clean, and the attention to detail is impressive. I'll definitely book here again next time I'm in the area.

MM21151****The hotel is located in the heart of Huashuiwan, close to the late-night snack area, where I'd recommend Hong Taiyang BBQ. Unlike summer, some of the hot springs at the hotel are quite warm in winter, which is very pleasant.
I hope the hotel enforces its no-smoking policy in the hot springs. The hot spring area itself is lovely, but there's always the off-putting smell of smoke.
The hot spring facilities are complete, featuring both dry and wet saunas, but there's no 'kakeyu' (rinse station) for washing off after using them. This means whether you return to the hot springs with sweat after a sauna is entirely up to individual discretion. This isn't really a drawback, as most hot springs in China don't have such rinsing facilities.
If you're traveling solo and don't have a car, you can wait for the shuttle bus to go to Xueshan or back to Dayi County.

The hotel location is super convenient, just a few minutes' walk to the hot springs, and there are plenty of restaurants and convenience stores nearby. Service is fast. Check in experience is fast too.
Requested go extra bed in the room, was inform they only do once a day so need to check availablilty. After checking, they mention can be done. It was place in our room after we came back from dinner.
Environment is very nice. Bathroom flooring is heated too. Our room is using the overhead projector to see TV program. Internet not really stable therefore the tv projector sometimes get hang. One day before we checkout of the hotel, the projector is not able to off therefore we have no choice but to sleep with it on (not having a good night sleep fo that day). However, their service to your request is good. No phone in the room as you use WeChat to call for their room service.
Overall, this hotel has a good location, good service and nice environment.
