This hotel was very nicely decorated and provided a comfortable resting place after a long drive from Heilongjian into Inner Mongolia. The welcome was warm and the room had everything I needed. I was also able to quickly and easily get my washing done and dried. There is also plenty of parking. If you like trains, this place is also located by the tracks so it's an added bonus. Just be prepared for the horn. I must return with my partner next winter to Genhe as, sadly, the weather was too warm and it did not get down below -30c. There must have been a heatwave or something. The hotel is relatively new overall. It can be separated from wet and dry, which is relatively rare during the trip to Hulunbuir, Inner Mongolia. The heating is sufficient. The rooms are spacious, and the facilities are good. The heating was on a lower setting initially, but you can always inquire at the front desk if you feel cold. Breakfast is simple but good value and tasty; the noodles were a bit plain, but everything else was great. Although Genhe isn't a large city, this hotel was a delightful surprise, offering a great place to relax. The nearby museum is highly recommended for its introduction to the Evenki culture. I'd definitely recommend staying here.
