"Lugu Lake Erluodi is amazing! The location is absolutely superb, right by the lake. You can open the window and enjoy the scenery, even watch the sunrise and sunset from your bed. The room design is fantastic, a perfect blend of Wabi-sabi style and Mosuo elements, with attention to every detail. The butler service is incredibly thoughtful, even providing a hand-drawn map of the lake. There are snacks in the evening, and adorable pets too. It's truly ideal for a vacation, highly recommended!"

Service: Our butler, Zhima, was incredibly helpful! They sent recommendations early, were quick to assist with luggage, and provided truly heartwarming service. The surprise afternoon tea and generous breakfast were so delicious we didn't want to leave the hotel. This VIP treatment definitely makes me want to visit again!"

"Facilities: All the basic amenities were definitely in place, no need to even mention them. As soon as we entered the room, we saw a speaker, a humidifier, and an electric kettle. The slippers were also thick, fluffy ones, and there were even disinfected flip-flops. Plus, they actually provided disposable towels, wet wipes, and body lotion! This was truly, truly thoughtful for girls. I was genuinely touched by the owner's attention to detail š Everyone, go stay here, okay?
Cleanliness: Visibly clean, which was very, very satisfying for someone with aę½ē (germophobia) š
Environment: The moment we stepped into the courtyard, it felt so cozy and completely won us over. From entering the gate to checking in and getting to our room, we were chattering all the way about having found our dream room. Thumbs up! š The lobby had a unique and pleasant scent of bergamot and various fruits. The flowers were blooming beautifully š
Service: The young men came to pick us up. As soon as they arrived, they took care of all our luggage, even carrying our backpacks. Then they guided us step-by-step through the check-in process and escorted us to our room. Later, we felt the hotel was so good that we wanted to upgrade our room type. The young man also helped us communicate and choose the 'Changfeng Yundu' room on the second floor. š

"The B&B has a fantastic location; you can park right at the entrance, and it's super close to the lakeside promenade. The owner is really nice and welcoming. They upgraded our room for free and even helped us with our luggage and took us to our car ā their hospitality was almost embarrassingly good, haha! The room layout was beautiful too. Waking up to the sight of the clear blue Lugu Lake right outside our window, and sitting by the window with my partner enjoying the view, was just so peaceful. I absolutely loved this room, and I definitely want to stay longer next time!"

We initially planned to stay just one night at Lugu Lake, but we were so captivated by the hotel's ambiance, service, and rooms that we ended up staying an extra night! When we checked out, they overheard that our car was parked in a different lot, so they graciously drove us there in their own car (even though the parking lot was only a few minutes from the hotel). You can feel their genuine warmth and hospitality at all times. I've already recommended it to friends, and my daughter says she wants to stay here again next time we visit Lugu Lake. First, let's talk about the room itself. It's a Loft, so there's plenty of space, and all the amenities are brand new and smart. There's even a washing machine and a fridge. The lake view room is incredibly refreshing; the moment you open the window and see the lake, everything feels worth it! š
The guesthouse's first floor is a restaurant (for dining and coffee), which transforms into a small bar with live music in the evening (ending at 10 PM, so it's not noisy). Every corner is picturesque, and the attention to detail is remarkable. It's a must-visit for anyone who loves taking photos.
The hostess is hands down the best I've met in years ā such a lovely young lady! Before our arrival, she added me on WeChat to send the address and important notes. "I have to say, the service was excellent. The ladies at the front desk proactively helped with our luggage whenever we came and went, and there was a shuttle service to and from the bus station.
Every time I messaged the concierge, I received an instant reply, which was fantastic. A special shout-out to Drolma, our concierge!
The lakeside view was stunning, and there was a beautiful lakeside restaurant right downstairs.
The room was spotless, with plenty of outlets. I noticed the cleaning staff were very diligent.
Since we left early to see the morning mist, we asked the concierge to save breakfast for us when we returned late. To our surprise, they saved so much food we couldn't even finish it all!
Both our early morning fog tour around the lake and our return journey were recommended by the hotel. The driver was excellent, the price was fair, and there was no hard selling. We highly recommend the driver, Qingdu! Haha."

"I rarely leave reviews, but I really didn't want to leave, so I'm writing this on the road. I booked this hotel specifically for its lake-view restaurant. Even though I knew it had many positive reviews and would be good, it still far exceeded my expectations after checking in.
The facilities are excellent, and the attention to detail is impressive. It's rare to find a place that even provides alcohol wipes and face towels, which shows they genuinely care about their guests. Even as a germaphobe, I couldn't find a single flaw with the cleanliness. The service, in particular, deserves a special mention. Both the front desk lady and the shuttle driver were warm, considerate, and professional. Upon arrival, the front desk proactively upgraded my room and thoughtfully showed me both the original and upgraded room types so I could choose for myself. The shuttle driver was also always responsive and meticulous.
Regarding the environment, both the public areas and the rooms seamlessly blend with the scenery of Lugu Lake. Just sitting by the window in the room, enjoying the view, was incredibly relaxing. The restaurant offers even more breathtaking panoramic views of the lake and mountains. The hotel's ambiance perfectly mirrors Lugu Lake itself ā serene, elegant, and secluded.

"A stay that far exceeded my expectations (perhaps because I had a few bad experiences with accommodations elsewhere in Yunnan before). First off, the hotel's location is excellent, right next to the Goddess Peak cable car, making it very convenient to catch the sunrise.
**Facilities:** Overall great. For the off-season price, getting a hotel with this level of smart amenities is fantastic value for money. Plus, there's a gym (though I didn't explore it much, fearing altitude sickness).
**Hygiene:** I really want to highlight this. I'm quite particular about cleanliness, and I recall finding no issues with the linens on the day of check-in. Thumbs up!

"Facilities: What you see is what you get. The room layout is exactly as shown on the website. You can see the lake view from inside the room. The other two photos show the view from the terrace.
Regarding the hotel's location, I think it's the best in Daluoshui Village, both close to the water and quiet. Because it's at the end of the village, there aren't tourists constantly passing by your window like at other waterfront hotels. Only other guests of the hotel. If you stay on the second floor, there's absolutely no disturbance. The entire hotel is also quiet and soundproof.
The bedding is also very comfortable; the mattress and pillows are good. The service is also very thoughtful; besides transfers to and from the bus station, they also offer free pick-up and drop-off within 3km. When we were out for a stroll, the owner even proactively asked if we needed a ride back, which was super considerate.
Overall, I highly, highly recommend it! If I have a chance to come again next time, I'll definitely book with them again! Hahaha"

GGuest UserAnother absolute gem in Yunnan. The price is relatively affordable and all you get for it is totally worth it. The views outward the hotel lobby is stunning and the decor of the interior is very cozy and fitting. You have a full view of the lake from the front unobstructed.
Rooms have everything basic and more. Relatively spacious and decorated very extensively, cozy and comfortable setting and bed. Nice setup in the bathroom area and shower is spacious. Toilet with automated bidet is also nice. For those who like bathing there is a bath with mountainside views and bath salts/supplies given.
The AI and automated curtains add a nice touch, though this one is more primitive than xiaodu.
Staff were very kind and helpfulļ¼offered to drop me off at the bus stop and served dessert at night.

GGuest UserMy first review on Ctrip is dedicated to Muyu Guesthouse in Lugu Lake. As someone who doesn't like to do much research, I'm always afraid of being misled by online photos before booking. After browsing hundreds of hotels and guesthouses, I finally chose Muyu, which I suppose was fate. The result far exceeded my expectations: the entire guesthouse is decorated in warm orange tones, and every room exudes a cozy and romantic atmosphere. I especially loved the small garden on the first floorāamong the guesthouses in the area, only Muyu has maintained its plants so meticulously, perfect for photos and for pets to play in. The short-haired landlady is efficient and warm, with a natural radiance in her conversation. From the spatial layout to the service details, her thoughtfulness is evident everywhere. Even the recommended local restaurants were a pleasant surprise. Lugu Lake is already a paradise worth visiting repeatedly, and Muyu's existence gives this longing a true home. After returning home, Mr. Z was inspired to write a poem for Muyu as a token of his gratitude:
Muyu: Emerald green hills creep up the steps at dawn, the reed gates open to reveal a lush dew.
Muyu The aroma of beans cooked in the spring fills the house; the cauldron, like clouds, is simmered, its surface shimmering like silk.
Occasionally, mountain birds are called to add to the wild vegetables; sometimes, the moon shines on the fragrant cup.
The most sentimental is the guest by the abyss, who rises at dawn to simmer a soup of fine, delicate ingredients.

Before arriving, the hotel contacted us to send the location. When we arrived, the guy was waiting for us at the door to help us with our luggage. When we checked in, we upgraded the best room type. We can watch the sunrise and the starry sky in the room, and the window view is beautiful

The sunset restaurant is a must-visit! The glass viewing platform is the best spot for photos; when the afterglow paints the lake red, even the dinner plates seem to be rimmed with gold.
The public areas are fantastic for photos: The cliffside book bar and the mirrored water platform are perfect for creating stunning shots. Posing in a corner with the lake as a backdrop feels incredibly atmospheric. The room details are impeccable, with underfloor heating and a scenic bathtub. Turndown service even includes a complimentary warm tremella soup ā.
I unexpectedly found a notebook š in the room, filled with messages from previous guests ā it really warmed my heart~

GGuest UserThis hotel left an extremely strong impression on my family! For the price point, the location and view from our room was amazing. The view is unblocked, and we had a nice walk by the lake. There is a cafe beside the hotel which served nice drinks and food. The view from the cafe was excellent, and we would highly recommend paying a visit there! The room had a nice, cozy feeling and a spacious balcony. There aren't many restaurants in this particular town, but the main town is about a 15 minute walk or 2 minute drive from the hotel. However, the hotel is able to provide dinner! They have a several options to choose from like noodles and hotpot, and the prices are extremely affordable! The hotpot was really delicious as well, and the breakfast was scrumptious! In the morning, there will be dew above the waters of the lake, and the view is simply stunning. Overall, we had a really great experience here thanks to the helpful and friendly staff!

FFensepaopao19The B&B is right by the lake, offering fantastic views. Zaxi, the housekeeper, was incredibly warm and attentive ā truly excellent!
The hotel provides a complimentary shuttle service, and our room was on the second floor. The housekeeper even helped with our luggage, which we really appreciated! The recommended restaurant was also superb!
Breakfast had a great variety, and they offered complimentary sweet treats in the evenings. Upon check-out, we received a lovely souvenir gift (a box of traditional brown sugar).
Overall, it was an amazing trip to Lugu Lake. Visiting during the off-season meant fewer crowds, which made it an even better choice.

CClarissa TangWe had a comfortable stay here, breakfast was provided and beds were comfortable. You walk out and you are facing the Lugu lake too! A beautiful site.
Only thing was that towels provided were disposable, and some room lights needed fixing.
Hosts are really friendly and reply WeChat timely.
There isnāt an elevator on the facilities and you might initially think you arrive at the wrong place when you arrive by car.
You would need to walk through a backyard of a local house before you reach the accoms.
They do ask for feedback about your stay which I really appreciate. And they have explained some concepts after my feedback. I think this is a nice accoms to consider for your stay. They do adjust their amenities according to past feedback too. Family room was kind of fun!
