"We had a wonderful stay at the hotel. The service was excellent, especially from 彬彬, who was very responsive and incredibly helpful throughout our stay. We were pleasantly surprised with a room upgrade, which made our trip even more enjoyable.
The team also thoughtfully arranged a birthday surprise for us, which was a lovely touch. Since we had an early trip schedule, they even helped arrange an earlier breakfast for us, a gesture we truly appreciated. N helped to book a driver to take us out to 五指山.
The room was spacious and comfortable, with a beautiful view of the sea and a stunning sunrise in the morning. While the location is a little farther from the main areas, the exceptional service and relaxing atmosphere more than make up for it.
Overall, it was a very memorable and pleasant stay. Thank you to 彬彬 and the team for their warm hospitality!"

"The hotel is huge with lovely views and lots of beautiful plants. The front desk even gave us complimentary coconut coffee cookies and a free room upgrade. There are also various kids' activities and a kids' playground, which my children absolutely loved. When we got tired, we could go for a swim. There are many pools, including hot springs, and an indoor heated pool for rainy days. The kids' pool has water slides and basketball hoops for children to play with. There are also villas, a farm, and a sports field nearby, perfect for a morning run! My twin room had an oversized bathtub, a huge balcony, and stunning, mesmerizing lake views. Breakfast is a buffet, and the restaurant is massive with an countless variety of delicious dishes. In the evening, you can watch the sunset at the hotel's easternmost sunset camp. "This is a really great hotel! I absolutely love the modern and youthful decor. The breakfast was delicious, especially the freshly made beef noodles with generous chunks of beef. "Location: Lovely location right by the ocean but a bit far from any fun spots. It takes about 15-20 minutes to get to the Wanning 日月 beach where there's a lot more fun activities.
Services: Great service. The front desk manager TT was lovely and could speak great English thus making communication go smoothly.
Amenities: Good but could be better. I think some of the rooms were not used for a long time. The first room I got smelled a bit musty. Also, don't expect new facilities this place looks like it's been around for a long time and it shows. Still, it's charming in all it's rustic glory.
I would say the only downside to my stay is that there was no shuttle to the train station. Which is kind of a letdown given that this is a high-end resort.
***If you're a person of colour, I recommend maybe try the two hotels not far from this place. Le Meridien and The Westin I think.
I didn't spot any other foreigner during my two days at this hotel until I went to 日月 for a walk and ran into a few of them。It turns out most foreigners stay at the Westin or Le Meridien thus maybe it won't feel too isolating opting for these two hotels rather than this one.
All in all, it's a nice hotel to stay if you're on a budget.👍🥂"

MM38965****This place is really great. First of all, the rooms are very nice, clean, and spacious, with an outdoor swimming pool (directly connected to the pool from the first floor). We came during the off-season, so we had a private pool for two. The service is also excellent. Compared to five-star hotels, where staff are generally just politely smiling, here the staff all have genuinely friendly smiles. In Riyue Bay, staff will take you wherever you want to go in a small car, stopping wherever you want (during the off-season). The breakfast here is very refined, unlike the buffet style of large hotels. There's complimentary afternoon tea (the passion fruit tea is amazing!), and a cup of evening tea. Honestly, the overall experience was better than at a typical guesthouse, but the friendliness of everyone was a big plus. (Special praise to Xiaomei and Agui! Xiaomei is a very gentle young lady, and Agui is a very knowledgeable young man about the local area; you can ask him in advance where you want to go.)

WWaikin.mDe Vivre is to live, and you will never feel more alive here. Away from the hectic city life and mundane repetitive everyday work rush, you can wind down and relax here. The setting of the place is like a garden, it has a touch of rustic yet modern. If you are looking for a place to take photos then this is the place for you. Every inch of De Vivre will produce the best photo you can ever ask for. They even provide a free photography service for you if you need( first 3 photos is by the photographer).
The most outstanding part about this place, more so than the scenary is the service provided by the staff there. They have a 24hours butler service that will try help you resolve any problems that you have to the best of their abilities. They are swift in responding and always always very friendly to make you feel at home. The owner who is there most of the time will chat with you and offer you fruits from the local villagers and really make you feel at ease and at home. Not to mention the 2 dogs there that are extremely friendly that will only try to ask you for belly rubs.
They also offer a lot of activies in the hotel such as henna painting, hair braiding and other diy art events, with afternoon tea and even movie under the stars. If you are looking to go to the nearby beach, they have a chauffer to bring you there and back, you just have to communicate the timings with them. The whole stay is extremely pleasant.
If you are worried about the cleanliness of the place, it is extremely clean. Thy would on the air conditional before you arrive so that your room would already be cool. The room always smells very pleasant.
Last but not least, I just wanna say this is not a sponsored post hahaha. These are all heartfelt feelings and I would definitely find time to go back there. They definitely made me feel like home even away from home. This is the perfect getaway for anyone.

GGuest UserWhat you see in the pictures is what you get! Since there were no king-sized beds available, we booked a twin room. After discussing it with Hamburger (the staff member), they were able to combine the beds, and honestly, I think it could even comfortably fit four people! Both the living room and bedroom had access to a courtyard, and it was incredibly thoughtful of them to arrange for us to be on the first floor.
Definitely a five-star review! A special thanks to Hamburger at the front desk for their thoughtful arrangements. They proactively communicated with us about our needs even before check-in and continuously followed up on our requests.
Opening the door to a beautifully decorated birthday setup showed a lot of care and effort. They even prepared a birthday cake. The breakfast was plentiful, and there was no need to queue. The pool was also very clean.
Dinner at the Club Lounge was quite good, but the afternoon tea selection might be a bit limited. I hope they can increase the variety of items for afternoon tea in the future.
Overall, the hotel environment is excellent. The Southeast Asian resort-style design is very tasteful, the room is spacious and comfortable, and the view from the balcony is delightful. But what impressed me most was the attentiveness – from the room decoration to the cake preparation, every detail exuded warmth. The next time I visit Wanning, I will definitely choose this hotel again and recommend it to my friends. Thank you to all the staff for your hard work in making our vacation memories unforgettable!

I stayed here for 4 nights and honestly, I’m already thinking about my next trip back. The whole vibe of this hotel is peaceful, green, and super relaxing — perfect for a little escape from the city.
While my room didn’t face the ocean directly, it overlooked a beautiful garden full of lush tropical trees and plants. It felt like waking up in the middle of a quiet jungle oasis. I loved how calming it was — birds chirping in the morning, swaying palm trees, and so much natural light.
The room itself was spotless and stylish, with a comfortable bed and everything I needed. You can tell they care about maintaining the place really well.
What really made this stay special was the staff. Everyone I met was warm, welcoming, and always ready to help — whether it was arranging transportation or giving local tips. They even have drivers who can take you around to explore nearby beaches and spots, which was super convenient.
One of my favorite little perks? The coffee shop inside the hotel where you can grab free coffee anytime. I spent a lot of time there, sipping on iced drinks and reading in the garden — it was honestly the perfect recharge.

The location is absolutely superb, offering an unobstructed, incredibly expansive sea view. The 270-degree floor-to-ceiling windows transform the endless rice paddies into a flowing oil painting within the room—speechless with beauty. I especially loved the infinity pool connected to the rice fields; every photo opportunity was perfect. The rooms were minimalist and comfortable, with a five-star mattress and bathtub for complete relaxation. The butler's attention to detail was also incredibly thoughtful. If you want to escape the crowds and find healing and relaxation amidst the fields, this is absolutely the perfect choice!

GGuest UserThe hotel has been extensively renovated since my last stay. There is a cool new gym, a laundry room and the pool area is still top notch. Breakfast is generous and varied.
Th rooms are really relaxing, with high quality linens, towels, pillows and mattresses making it very comfortable . The combination rain shower/nozzle shower is excellent and the room comes with a huge tv also. I had a courtyard room which has 2 more seats outside but a balcony room might have been just as convenient.
Staff are really friendly and the room is cleaned to a high standard each day.
Location is excellent. The hotel is across the quiet roadway from the beach which is being upgraded with new sand being spread. The Shaka Surf shop is just outside the hotel for lessons and rentals, and there is a really nice restaurant (Goofy Dog) just beside that.
The noise at night might be an issue with small kids but if you want to be in the heart of the ‘scene’ there’s nowhere better to be.
I would very highly recommend this as a place to stay in Riyue Bay.

FFubaoqingjiuA very warm and clean B&B opened by a kind couple from Shanghai, who adopted stray cats and dogs. The B&B is Moroccan in style, and was built bit by bit by themselves. Living there feels like being at home.
The handsome boss cooks delicious dishes. We ate at the B&B for two consecutive days. The ingredients are fresh, the braised pork is so delicious, the boss is also a good DJ, and he is also a master of wooden art crafts👍
The breakfast was very rich and different for two consecutive days. There is a parrot in the B&B that stays on the proprietress's head all day long. It's so cute.
The B&B is very close to the beach, just a short walk away. It is best to go there at dusk when there are fewer people and the scenery is beautiful, with many people surfing.
A few minutes' drive from the B&B is ”Golden Beach and Silver Land”, a niche beach, which is a good place to watch the sunrise. You can ask the boss to book a boat ticket to Dazhou Island, which is very beautiful.
There is no shortage of beaches in Wanning, but for beaches with fewer people and more beautiful scenery, it is recommended to go to Xinqun Bay. If you are lucky enough to come to Xinqun Bay, it is recommended that you stay in this humane B&B for a few nights. It will definitely be worth the trip.

The balcony is very large, with a panoramic view of the sea. Because I brought children with me, I booked a 3-bedroom. The room is very spacious and the children had a lot of fun. Service: Was just okay - not the most helpful unless you ask questions. For example, the SUPs have to be booked ahead so their trainer is scheduled to come - which was not mentioned. So if you are only staying for one day, make sure you tell them ahead.
Cleanliness: Since it is a humid environment, mould will likely appear. The tent we were in had a lot of mould on many of the inner walls. There was an attempt at simply covering it but these tents should be cleaned and treated.
Amenities: the tents definitely are definitely more fancy than normal tents - ours had a shower and AC. I was mostly disappointed by the lack of activities and food availability. I think if you are an accommodation that is difficult to access - at least food/drinks options should be provided.
