"As a solo traveller and foreigner, staying at Limu turned out to be the best decision. The place has an incredibly beautiful and modern aesthetic and rooms are on par with some high-end luxury hotels. But that's not why you should stay here, it's the hosts. I was immediately welcomed by the whole family with a warmth and openness that made me feel like I was part of a family. Kindness always finds a way beyond language barriers. They offered me invaluable tips of what to do and see, offered me tea, fruits and snacks and prepared an incredibly delicious traditional Xiào Guó Mi Xian 小锅米线 noodle soup for breakfast. These kind people of Shadian will forever stay in my memory."

"The room was very clean, the environment was lovely and quiet, and the floor-to-ceiling windows offered a fantastic view of Jin Lake. Sitting in the rocking chair and gazing at the lake was incredibly soothing. Jin Lake is just across the street, and popular restaurants are within walking distance. The owner was warm and attentive, providing a map of the accommodation and nearby attractions before check-in, and even providing umbrellas when it rained. As a northerner, I definitely underestimated the southern winter. Since there was no air conditioning, I had to keep the graphene heater on. It wasn't cold, but it wasn't as warm as in the north either, but that's just my own experience. The shampoo and shower gel smelled wonderful; the lemon and verbena scent didn't feel cheap. The only thing I think could be improved is the water heater; the hot water supply is a bit limited, especially for women in winter who can only quickly wash their hair and rinse off. Overall, it's a very good guesthouse, and the place is very beautiful—worth exploring and experiencing."

I really enjoyed my stay at Huílái Homestay in Shadian. The room was spacious and comfortable, and the shower was just as big, which made it extra nice. The building looks newly renovated, so everything felt fresh and clean. The location is great too, it’s less than a 5-minute walk to shops and restaurants, and it’s right across from the Great Mosque of Shadian. What made the stay even better was the hostess, she was very friendly and accommodating, and always made me feel welcome. I’d definitely recommend this place if you’re visiting Shadian.

The room was very clean, the environment was great, and the space was spacious. There was a pavilion, flowers, and fish in the courtyard downstairs. It's very close to the mosque; there's a small door at the back that leads directly there. The owner was very welcoming. I highly recommend this place!

Overall hotel and hotel owner is fine. However in the night no WiFi have in room. In morning elevator not working. You can see grand mosque 🕌 of shadian from room window 🪟. However, they remove green tombs Arabic structure which was the identity of grand mosque 🕌 and now they renovating into Chinese architecture. Renovation will complete in July 2024. So, it’s worthless to visit shadian town before July 2024. There are few new mosque 🕌 around town. Overall , Shadian is very peaceful town with friendly people.

The specific situation of the location problem: from the outside parking lot to the room to go through three major slope ladders, there is no elevator, all by yourself, the first slope comes up from the parking lot, the second slope from the main road to the hotel lobby, and the third slope from the lobby to the room.
There are also strange points: there are several rows of air conditioners in the corridor of the room, which blows directly and is noisy, and it is also a long experience.

It's pretty good. The location is excellent, with plenty of restaurants nearby, and the restaurants downstairs are always crowded. It's a renovated old hotel, so the facilities are a bit dated, but everything is very clean, the bedding smells nice, and the hot water comes out quickly. There's a long flight of stairs to the entrance, which is a bit inconvenient with luggage. The soundproofing isn't great.
