"Rixos Montazah Alexandria offers access to three hotel wings! I stayed in a bungalow and could use both the Rixos Hotel and Nariman Hotel sections, so there was never a dull moment! I enjoyed moving between the pools, private beach, indoor pool, gym, and even breakfast. Being located within the Montazah Palace Gardens, I got to experience both Egypt's lush greenery and the blue sea. This time I went for a 'glamping' feel with the bungalow wing, but next time I plan to try the Nariman Hotel wing! If you prefer a more modern style, Nariman is the way to go!"

"We booked a suite. It took a 10-minute walk from the hotel lobby to the room. There was no shuttle bus, so we had to walk, but thankfully someone helped with our luggage. Perhaps due to the overall economic and social conditions in Alexandria, especially after staying at the Four Seasons in Sharm, I really felt it wasn't up to par. The hotel faces the sea, which was quite beautiful. The sunrise and sunset views were indeed great. However, the suite itself was really not good; it was like a guesthouse from China in the 70s or 80s. The room service, though, was very enthusiastic, folding different animal shapes with towels every day. Breakfast was terrible. Even though the overall hotel environment was mediocre, it doesn't diminish my love for Alexandria. The people of Alexandria are the best I've met in Egypt. Taxis didn't overcharge, and everyone was very friendly!"

"The hotel is in a perfect location, very clean. The swimming pool is quite small, and it was quite cold during late may days (no pool heater) Most of the staff were amazing, especial shoutout to Ms. Menna (customer relation manager). I have one note only on a specific team member (on the reception desk) bad service and behaviour on check-in & checkout time. i believe if the hotel management went through my file at the hotel they will figure out the person i mean in this review!"

"Beach was nice , Rooms pool view was also nice and rooms cleanliness was good. I liked the quietness of the place (compared to rest of Alexandria Corniche). The price was not high and not low, but in general was OK. Breakfast was OK, acceptable variety and food quality is OK (but not 4 Star level). There was a car parking lot but too small, you should pick a spot early, but if not you still can park your car outside the Hotel. The room service girl was very nice and polite, also the reception and everyone honestly. XXX I didn't like the bathroom , the shower head throw water out of the bath tub and the bathroom floor was always wet, every time take a shower we need to call the cleaner to come and dry it ! No extra tools to do it yourself at least. If this is fixed , i would love to go there again!"

"The Gem in Alexandria! Brief: For anyone in doubt: this is the coolest hotel! Location: This pearl is situated right in the city center. It’s the best choice for visiting attractions. You can find many hotels outside the Medina, but that wouldn’t be the ”real” Alexandria. The Library of Alexandria, the Citadel, many churches, mosques, and fish restaurants are all very close to the hotel. 10/10 Food and Drinks: The breakfast is great. The menu varies by day (it seems to depend on the number of guests), offering either a buffet (smorgasbord) or set dishes. Either way, it’s delicious. Additionally, you’ll enjoy a spectacular view from the restaurant during breakfast and dinner. 10/10 Accommodation: This is a true early 20th-century hotel. It features a vintage lift, high ceilings, and beautiful wood paneling. I stayed in a room with a balcony and a partial sea view. Despite being near the highway, it was surprisingly quiet and calm. The bedding was comfortable, and the room temperature was perfect (even with +10°C at night and +18°C during the day outdoors). 10/10 Service: Very pleasant staff with a good command of English. The hotel team is truly eager to help with any request—whether it's finding a bank, a currency exchange, a bus station, or local attractions. 10/10 Cleanliness: Everything was spotless—the bathroom, balcony, and beds. Overall Impression: Book this hotel now and come back again! I fell completely in love with this place and Alexandria. European tourists might try to nitpick small disadvantages, but they are insignificant compared to the charm of this amazing hotel."
