"This hotel is excellent! The overall experience was really good. It's conveniently located, making getting around a breeze, and there are plenty of restaurants and amenities nearby. The front desk staff were friendly, check-in was efficient, and communication was smooth, which made for a very relaxing start. The room was clean and tidy, well laid out, and had great natural light. The bedding was comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. The bathroom cleanliness was satisfactory, with stable hot water and a full set of toiletries. Public areas were well-maintained and quiet, with no noticeable noise disturbances. Overall, the hotel strikes a good balance between value for money and comfort. It's suitable for both short stays and longer trips, and I would definitely consider staying here again if I have the chance."

"This was my first trip to Europe, starting in Paris and then coming to Barcelona. Prices in Paris were ridiculously high; for the same four nights, I spent several thousand ********* dollars more there, and it was just a hostel. But I absolutely loved this hotel! It's away from the hustle and bustle of tourist areas, located in a residential neighborhood, and not far from the metro station. It's a 4-star hotel 🏨, and the best part is the super spacious room with an enormous bed 🛏️ that was so comfortable I barely wanted to leave. The bathroom was also incredibly clean and huge, making it a joy to use. It was just amazing, absolutely amazing! I'll definitely stay here again when I go back to Barcelona. I'm even hoping to visit Barcelona again this summer. I really miss that big bed 🥹🥹 I’ll always miss Barcelona and Arcelon Hotel 🥹"

"The experience in this hotel was simply amazing. There's a train by a distance of 3 minutes walking and you can go to the main city by train and be there in 30 minutes. The services, including the buffet, is very good and the workers there are very friendly and always ready to help. There's a mini GYM and a pool with a beautiful view as well. I would recommend Sercotel to anyone that visits Barcelona."

"This hotel is located outside of the city center of Barcelona. It is just across from Fira Barcelona Gran Via, which has a L9 South metro stop. Hence, it is not difficult to go to the city from the hotel. The room is spacious with nice decor but the hotel seems a little old as there are some cracks here and there. The gym is usable but not really complete. There is a huge selection of food for the breakfast but they are not the best, either."

"My child had a solo trip and stayed for three nights. It was convenient, clean, and most importantly, safe, especially for a female traveler. She returned home safely from this trip. Before she left, I was worried about her safety, but everything turned out fine. I'm grateful for the warmth and friendliness of the locals in Barcelona and other tourists towards my child. And even more grateful for the beauty Gaudi has given to the world. We'll definitely stay here again next time we visit Barcelona."

"Location as expected away from the city but driving and parking to nearest station General Hospital is fairly easy. Reception are friendly and courteous .  Car park is only available after you check in and to enter with hotel key card. The car park access bar is horrendous , there is no auto sensor and will hit your car if you do not leave on time . So you need to  front of the car on the road when exiting otherwise the carrier will hit your car."

"It's a pretty good hotel, especially if you're traveling by car. It's conveniently located close to the airport, and the city center is only about a 10-minute drive away. The rooms are quite spacious and look clean. Breakfast was quite hearty, with options like hash browns and pancakes, and everything tasted good. It's worth noting that all the elevators in this hotel are panoramic elevators, so those with a fear of heights should be aware."

"This was my first time staying in a hostel, and overall, I was quite satisfied. Check-in was done by scanning a QR code, which then served as my access pass for coming and going – very secure and convenient. However, there were a couple of drawbacks. For instance, the shower required repeatedly pressing a button, which was annoying, even though I understand it's an eco-friendly design."

"We booked this hotel because it had good reviews and was a good offer price through Trip.com in the off season ( March ) . The hotel is in an excellent location of the Marina and very close to the train station for access into Barcelona. The Hotel is very nice, clean and staffed really well. We were a little disappointed to find that there were additional charges ( 14E per night) for underground parking for 3 nights and the spa facilities were including access to the indoor pool were 12E per day each person. Both these additional costs were not clear when booking and added considerably to the overall cost. The rooms are very well fitted , modern, light, airy and very clean with coffee maker and mini bar fridge. Excellent toilet and shower facilities and we had a sea view ( although it was over the small shipyard with some background electric tools noise during the morning and daytime but only noticeable when the balcony door was open. The biggest issue we had was the hard surface noises from adjoining rooms which were loud and affected sleep. Because the floors and rooms have lots of hard surfaces and foot movement in shoes or placing of things on hard surfaces or items dropped or placed on hard surfaces and doors slamming shut resulted in the noise carrying through. Unfortunately we had people in the next room who weren't very considerate late at night and into the early hours. We cant comment of the food in the hotel as we prefer to miss breakfasts and ate out in Mataro and Barcelona in the evenings but the food and restaurant looked very nice I write this review to give people an informed choice and heads up. Would we use the hotel again ? Probably YES , as we would be aware of the extra charges and would hopefully get a room with more considerate people in adjacent rooms. We have given 5/5 for the hotel in most aspects but only 3/5 for facilities because we felt that access to the indoor pool and sauna etc should have been included in the price of the hotel as it made no difference to them at the off peak period. The indoor pool had hardly anyone using it and the underground garage had half a dozen vehicles parked in it as many people staying at the hotel arrived without cars."
