"This hotel was once luxurious. Now, the standard premium rooms (not the villas) are in need of renovation. The rooms feature a super large bed and a huge private terrace. The pool is excellent and clean, though there are no loungers for relaxing by it. Breakfast offers a great variety, including national cuisine, classic dishes, and plenty of desserts and fruits."

"Objectively, the hotel isn't bad: the staff is pleasant and responsive, and the overall standard is decent. However, several issues made my stay extremely uncomfortable and left me with negative feelings. We checked in late after a long journey, and immediately discovered problems in our room (B7): it was very cold, and the air conditioner didn't work for heating – it just kept blowing cold air. Basic amenities like a fridge and hairdryer were also missing. There wasn't even a phone in the room to contact reception, so I had to go there in person every time. The cold situation was resolved slowly and chaotically: first, the staff went to 'check,' then it turned out they were checking the water, and after that, I still had to wait for a heater. All of this happened at night when I just wanted to rest after the trip, and it significantly ruined my first impression. What was particularly upsetting was the price difference: my room cost me $100 through Trip.com, while my friends paid $60 for a similar room with the same loyalty level. Moreover, they were initially given a room with separate beds, but after complaining, they received a free upgrade – and their room turned out to be significantly better than mine, which amplified the feeling of unfairness. There was also a problem with the curtains in the room: one of the windows had none, making it impossible to create complete darkness and get a proper night's sleep. Access to the room also raised concerns: some staircases were blocked off with film, forcing me to use a steep and slippery ramp. Considering I had a knee injury, this caused serious discomfort. The next day, before checking out, we had a bit of time to rest after our trip to the volcano. I tried to sleep, but construction work started right next to my room: noise, stone cutting, and hammering. Combined with the light from the missing curtains, this made rest impossible. The staff ultimately made the situation worse: first, someone knocked on my door asking about breakfast – I replied that I had already eaten. Half an hour later, just as I was finally drifting off to sleep despite the construction noise, there was another loud and insistent knock on the door, with the same question. After that, I couldn't get back to sleep. In conclusion, despite the hotel generally looking decent and the staff trying to be friendly, the level of comfort was incomparable to the price and expectations. These issues made my experience rather negative."

"A fantastic hotel! The environment was great, very clean, and the hot water was excellent. They had a delicious rice dish similar to skewers; you can ask the owner for recommendations, and I ordered his. The luggage handling was also interesting; you don't have to carry your luggage up and down stairs yourself—there's a cute little elevator. Overall, a very good place to stay, and definitely worth the price."

"Among all the hotels I've stayed at while volcano climbing, this one definitely has the best restaurant. We ordered the roasted beef ribs for dinner, and they were incredibly delicious – so good that I ordered them twice! The next day, we had an early departure at 1:30 PM, and they thoughtfully prepared packed lunch boxes for us to take on our journey. Even after returning, we could still go to the breakfast room for another meal. Absolutely fantastic! The only downside is that the stairs to the second-floor rooms are quite steep and narrow, which isn't ideal for someone who just climbed a mountain and is carrying luggage."

"i would like to thank all the staff for a warm hospitality.. the room is huge, i booked a deluxe from trip.com on high season.. because the room is near the road it's quite noisy but bearable.. but if you like staycation maybe ask for a higher floor and face the back of the Villa, what you get.. a TV with netflix and YouTube premium account attached and 2 type of Towel face towel and Body Towel, 3 types beverage vessel of cup, glass and mug, you'll have a water boiler in the room, mini fridge in the room. and wait for it..... a body scale 😁 so you can check your body weight on holiday lounging by the side of the pool.. also very nice... when i got there it's not busy.. for breakfast they have the plates and bowl, utensil sterilized, they have chinese, indo, and western typr of breakfast prepare!!! oh what a spread! well my family already think to come staycation here again 😆😆😂😂"

"The rooms are located on a hill, but thankfully there were staff to help us with our luggage. Going up and down the stairs was quite tiring, but at least the room was clean. I regretted not being able to snag a family room, as it would have been much larger. Renting a jeep from them was a bit more expensive than renting outside, but I felt like the one we rented took the long way around; it took over an hour to reach the viewpoint. I had read reviews saying you could walk to the first viewpoint, so I'm still confused about that. Also, I saw a sign at their entrance and ended up paying an unnecessary entrance fee; no one even checked! After watching the Bromo sunrise, we came back to a perfect and hearty breakfast, which was as good as a full meal."

"I could not find any other hotel who could offer a view point with just beside the Mount Bromo! The moment we reach the hotel and straightaway saw the mountain & surroundings, we were just stunned & felt amazing with the scenery of this hotel. The room is a humble small villa and it's quite clean & provide TV, wifi, water heater, cups & a table and chairs with a rubbish bin outside the room. They provide soap, small shampoo & toothbrush with paste. We could not stop taking pictures of Mount Bromo the moment we step out of the hotel. Price is surprisingly affordable. Thank you so much Cemara Indah hotel! We will surely come back again!!"

"Great location and very friendly service. It was quite cool at night, which was nice. Good value for money, and breakfast was included, which tasted decent. The only downside was that the room didn't have a chair."

"A wonderful place, we give it a 10 out of 10. Check-in was quick, the room was simple, but had everything – a kettle, a comfortable bed, a shower with hot water! And since it's cold in these parts, there are TWO blankets on the bed! It's a real lifesaver. And what a beautiful garden and views of the Bromo caldera! It's superb. Breakfast was also delicious, especially after the trek to the viewpoint and Bromo. By the way, we walked everywhere from 3:30 to 9:30; it's much more convenient than taking a jeep, which rushes you. We enjoyed the views everywhere without rushing and managed to do everything, even making it to breakfast, which was served before 10. We recommend everyone to walk a lot, because it's so enjoyable here. We'll definitely show it in a video one day on the New Horizons channel (Russia).
