"Stayed here for 2 nights largely due to its proximity to the Meitetsu Airport Line. The hotel is within a 10 minute walk from Nagoya Station, with no need to pull the luggage up any stairs. The room was decently sized, and has amenities to expect for a hotel of this class. View from the room was excellent, overlooking directly towards Nagoya Mirai Tower and Sakae. Front Desk service is excellent and helped me to navigate Rakuten JP to order something past midnight. They are also all able to speak good english. Breakfast was also excellent, offering Hitsumabushi and various other options. Would highly recommend this place!"

Facilities: The decor is a bit old-school, but it's very clean.
Front Desk: Check-in was very fast, and you can get toiletries for free.
Room: Pretty standard, slightly larger than the average Japanese room. My small suitcase could be fully opened on the floor.
Value for Money: Considering its location around the Sakae commercial district and decent ratings, this is definitely one of the viable options."

"The renovated rooms are really modern and well-equipped. They're not huge, but super convenient! Takashimaya is within walking distance, and it's easy to get to Meitetsu Station. Perfect for sightseeing. There are tons of shopping and dining options nearby, so you'll never have to worry about food. For breakfast, they even offer Nagoya specialties like Ogura toast and Kishimen noodles. I'd definitely choose this place again on my next trip!"

"Although the room is quite small, the room is very clean and well equipped. Just got to adjust abit and you will find space haha I love how they offer all the toiletries at the lobby! Super convenient location with food and convenience stores downstairs/nearby. Few mins walk from Nagoya stations with all the malls side by side. "The staff's service attitude was excellent. For breakfast, they had chicken wings and Oden.
The room I chose this time had a separate bathroom and toilet, so the toilet wouldn't get wet when showering.
The hotel's location is superb, with a mall and restaurants downstairs. If you love shopping, you probably couldn't cover it all in one day. It's only a 45-minute drive from Nagashima Outlet (Anpanman, amusement park) and Legoland.
However, parking isn't included in the hotel fee, and it costs 2200 yen per day (as of January 2026)."

"Stayed with BWH for nights.
Pros: The location is great. Only approx. 5 minutes walk to Sakae Station. There are many restaurants to go to. Convenience shops like Lawson and 7 eleven are just across the road. The double room itself is spacious by Japanese standards (as in the photo). Cleanness is superior. The hotel does routine daily cleaning services including replacing slippers and towels, etc. Almost all amenities are provided at the reception. Must mention that many things like face cleansing gel are from Pola.
Cons: The fridge makes clear noise (even when switched to level 1), so that I have to power off the fridge before sleeping. The soundproofing can be improved. I could hear laughter and natter from the next wall (their large voice did contribute though), especially when the night was very quiet. Another one is the small chair on the corner. It kept preventing me from accessing the window side of the bed. Should've chosen a better place to place it."

"Perfect location, just a few meters away from Nagoya Station JR and last bus stops/unloading (tours and outside Nagoya trips). Food stores are also available surrounding the hotel and BiC Camera is also located across the street. Entrance to the Underground shopping center can also be found near the hotel entrance.
The room is relatively clean and the staff are courteous. Only stayed for one night but I will definitely book the hotel again if I return to Nagoya."

"The reason I came back to the hotel is because of staffs. All of them are so professional and feel try their very best to all customers. My children were also happy to receive their great and kind service. One thing to take note here for myself is, It’s better to make a reservation for dinner at the 2F buffet restaurant even weekdays. Last time we just dropped by and not many groups, but this time almost full.. however still lucky to have seats as my children wanted."

"Cons:
1. Toilet doesnt have heated seat.
2. Water faucet for sink and shower are complicated to use. You have to open both hot and cold faucets to come up with the perfect temperature.
3. No air conditioning. Only heater was available. We were asked to just open the window since the airconditioning was broken during our stay. However it can be noisy at night due to nearby pubs.
4. Pillows and mattress are hard as rock.
5. No other amenities like indoor onsen, vendos, etc

"I would say they tried their best to meet my requests (quiet, away from the lift, no corner room). I guess the definition of quiet is to each individual. I could hear water running next door from their toilet. My room was just beside the lift, but I did not hear any sound from the functioning doors though. My room was the second from one end, lol. But the whole experience was good. They have the necessary amenities, again to each individual. Their laundry I thought was cheap, I seldom do laundry overseas, but I decided to after I saw the price. 1kg and below is 400 yen, 3 kg and below was 500 yen. I washed 3 berms and 3 t-shirts that weighed around 1.5kg. The location was pretty good. Toyota rent a car is just beside if anyone plans to rent a car. Walk about 5mins you will reach Nagoya station that connect all those malls like Esca, midland etc. Food wise not many choices for me because I am a vegetarian. There are NATO, miso, rice, eggs, bread, and pancakes. That's about it for a vegetarian breakfast."

KKeaiaimeishaodexiaoxingVery good overall! There's a really delicious tempura restaurant downstairs, located right off the lobby. A supermarket is conveniently located next door. You can also pick up a 5% discount coupon in the hotel lobby.
The facilities are quite new and excellent. Service is decent, although there's no Chinese-speaking staff.
Each guest can receive a complimentary face mask and a small sunscreen sample daily. Complimentary facial cleanser, makeup remover, toner, and lotion are also available for guests to use. Toothbrushes and other basic toiletries are provided. There's a coffee machine in the lobby, but the coffee quality is pretty average.
The location is excellent – it's right at Exit 6 of Jinshan Metro Station. Plus, there's an elevator available if you prefer not to take the stairs.

Location is good as it’s part of the JR group, though the construction at Nagoya station makes it harder to navigate even though it’s less than 8 mins walk. I am impressed with the service and the room. The room is comfortable with nice pillow and all the light buttons conveniently located. I also like the idea that they managed to arrange the bed in a different direction so the room has more space to move around even though if is a small room. Amenties are easily available at help desk. There is also reasonably priced laundry services. Service is good at front desk and I had a good evening of rest. Overall I enjoyed my time there.

MMryxOn our trip from Kyoto Uji to Nagoya and then Takayama, we chose this Courtyard by Marriott hotel. It truly lives up to a five-star standard, with a fantastic overall ambiance. Both the lobby and restaurant are very spacious, and the rooms are a good size too. It's conveniently located just one subway stop from Nagoya Station. Highly recommended!

1. Room and toilet is clean. Amenities is also provided but require to take from the lobby which I feel is good.
2. Located 5 mins walk from exit 3 of Metro Fushimi Station. There is also a bus stop along the way which can brings you to Sakae area and other spots. Otherwise, walking to Sakae area is doable as well. Additionally, along the way to hotel, will spot the scenic spot of Science Museum.
3. I had opted to walked to Osu Shotengai Street from hotel. As is autumn, the route along the way was great as will pass by a park with great scenery and people.
4. Lots of restaurants/eateries, convenience mart and drug store nearby.
5. Breakfast was provided and not bad for my taste even though almost the same everyday. There is a tea/coffee/water section where is provided for free.
6. Soundproof was actually good to my surprise.
Cons:
1. Room is quite small. I had brought 2 medium and 1 small luggage but only manage to open half of the 2 medium luggages. Barely able to walk and nearly trip on the luggage.
2. The hotel lobby is located at level 2 and require to take the lift. Believe was due to Japan public holiday or is a holiday season, the hotel was quite packed during my stay. At night when back to hotel, there was long queue to take the lift despite having 2 lifts.
3. Same goes for breakfast area, if you are eating after 8am onwards, too pack and the seating place are too limited.
4. Nothing much on the view as I had gotten a room with no views and overseeing opposite rooms only.
Overall, despite the small room size and others, actually I find this hotel to be nice to stay at. I definitely recommend to stay at this hotel despite there are only few minor cons.

TTiantianzhuizhumaqidaThe location is excellent, right in front of Nagoya Station. I specifically chose it for its proximity to the bus center since I was taking a highway bus. It's super convenient with izakayas and the station nearby, and I even discovered a theater. The breakfast was also plentiful and delicious. The room size wasn't small at all, and while double beds are usually 1.4 meters wide, this one was 1.6 meters, which felt very spacious. Plus, they had a great selection of amenities downstairs.

The room size is suitable for two people with large luggage. The room and bathroom are clean, and they have pajamas, towels, hand wash, body soap, shampoo, and conditioner. There's also air freshener for the room and clothing, but you can bring other toiletries from the front desk. Near the hotel, there are a restaurant, a convenience store, and a mall — a very perfect place to stay. me.

Wwinewine99The hotel is really close to the subway station, about a four to five-minute walk. I didn't pay attention when I booked, and this particular street is a bit... 'special' at night, haha, but it's not a huge problem.
Right downstairs, there's a Lawson and a FamilyMart, plus a Matsuya fast-food restaurant. There were also several highly-rated restaurants nearby, but I didn't have time to try them!
It's about six or seven subway stops from Nagoya Dome, no transfers needed, and takes around 20-30 minutes, which is quite convenient!
The front desk staff were very friendly, but the check-in time is strictly enforced – only from 3 PM. There's a seating area nearby where you can wait, and breakfast is even included! Though I didn't actually eat it.
The room is small but has everything you need. It's perfect for one person, no big issues! If you're coming to the Dome for a concert, you might want to consider this place! 🫶🏻

Some noise pollution cause is near the road & night entertainment place.
