"The hotel was very well kept and offered a pleasant overall stay. The staff were friendly and accommodating, especially when we requested rooms close to each other or on the same floor. They were also helpful in receiving and handling our luggage. The room was spacious and comfortable for solo, and the bathroom was equally well designed and relaxing. The hotel is conveniently located about a 5–10 minute walk from JR Nagoya Station, making it easy to get around. There are plenty of food options nearby, along with an underground mall directly below the hotel and a convenience store just 2–3 minutes away, which adds a lot of convenience. One minor drawback is the limited laundry facilities—there are only two washing machines for the entire hotel, and a full wash-and-dry cycle takes around two hours. However, it is possible to check the machine status online, which helps with planning. Overall, it’s a comfortable, well-located hotel with great service and convenient amenities, with only a small downside regarding laundry capacity. The hotel breakfast buffet was also slightly underwhelming. It was a bit expensive for the variety offered, and I wished there were more Nagoya specialty dishes included considering the price."

"Our stay at KOKO HOTEL was an amazing experience from start to finish. The hotel had a very clean, modern, and cozy atmosphere that made our trip even more enjoyable. The staff were polite, welcoming, and always helpful whenever we had questions or needed assistance. One of the things we loved most was the location. The hotel was conveniently close to train stations, convenience stores, restaurants, and shopping areas, which made exploring Japan very easy and stress free. The room was compact yet very well organized, with comfortable beds and all the essentials needed for a relaxing stay. We also appreciated how quiet and peaceful the hotel was, especially after long days of sightseeing. Everything was well maintained, and the overall experience felt smooth and comfortable throughout our trip. "Pros: 1. Good location 2. Comfy bed for rooms with 2 beds (twin *2 set up) Cons: 1. Slow insufficient elevators to tansit from lobby at 24F to 7F or 1F (to get out of the building) 2. AC vent blows right in your face (pic 1) 3. Do not book their kind bed room as it is not an actual King bed. It is very misleading to sell king bed room when it's actually 2 beds pieced together with a thin mattress cover. (And the mattress cover is made to hide the twin bed from direct view) 4. Like others said, the sides are too small to quickly get out of the bed. Have to shuffle to the bottom of the bed to get out. Fell asleep in the middle of the bed, felt weird but was too tired and passed out. Woke up with sore back from the bed and sore drybthroat from the AC blasting in my face all night. Took a look and it seemed like a king bed (pic 2), but it felt weird so checked again and found that its not a real king bed, but 2 bed pieced together with mattress topper wrap to appear like a king bed. I felt cheated that I was sold a room with king bed but it was not a real king bed. I expected better attitude from a 4 star hotel especially it is a newer hotel and in Japan. This action is a violation of Meiyo (honor) and Shokunin (craftsman) ethics. Pic 4 & 5 & 6 helps explains it from a third party view (I wanted to make sure what I felt was not biased or due to personal preference, so I double checked with google AI for ”third person” perspective) In summary: Selling two bed pieced together as a King isn't just a ”hack”—it's a betrayal of the Wa (harmony) between the maker and the user."

"The room was larger than I expected, and the view was fantastic, offering a partial glimpse of Nagoya's city center. The hotel is located on a relatively busy street, so even when returning late as a solo traveler, I felt quite safe. The room's furniture and fixtures were a bit dated, but that didn't bother me as it was very clean. I could fully open my suitcase on the floor and still move around freely, which was very comfortable. The soundproofing could be better; I could hear doors opening and closing in nearby rooms, and occasionally faint conversations, but it was still within an acceptable range for me. There's a Family Mart on the third floor, accessible by elevator, and the bus terminal is also there. This is incredibly convenient for tourists planning to take a bus to more distant destinations. On my last day, it was also very easy to take the Meitetsu Line to the airport. Highly recommended!"

"My overall experience staying at the Nikko Style Nagoya was quite good. The hotel's location is decent, situated in the Nishiki area with plenty of dining options nearby. Getting around by public transportation is a bit less convenient. The room itself was clean and tidy, with a typical amount of space for a Japanese hotel of its kind. The hotel's service attitude is commendable; the front desk staff were polite and professional, making check-in and check-out efficient. Communication was generally smooth, even for non-Japanese speaking guests. Of course, there are some areas for improvement. For instance, the room size is relatively limited, which can feel a bit cramped if you have a lot of luggage. Also, elevator wait times can be a bit long during peak hours."

"Generally a ideal hotel for families wt kids. New facilities, sizable room/bed, small kitchen, common washer/dryer at lobby, all very functional. Only drawback is the location 15min walk to Sakae station, hotel located at lots of night joint/clubs surrounding..crowd at night can seems intimidating. But overall they will just mind their own biz... Toilet/sewage has a faulty smell. Overall still very good."

"The environment is great, the front desk service is attentive, and the hotel is clean with a bathtub, perfect for a relaxing soak. Housekeeping cleans daily and doesn't mess with your belongings, which is a big plus! It offers good value for money, is close to shopping malls, and convenient for the subway station."
