"The room wasn't as big as I imagined; we could barely open two suitcases. The front desk service was good. The room normally comes with two pillows, but I found them a bit flat, so I called the front desk and they sent more up to the room quickly, which was a nice touch. The location is pretty good, about an 8 or 9-minute walk from the station."

"The hotel is super good and we love it😙😙. We stayed there 3 nights for our grad trip 🧑🎓. The location is excellent, closed to Sakae station, there is a lot of convenience stores around. Staff was nice and service was good, the room is clean and have good sound proof. "The hotel is located about 1.5km from Nagoya JR Station, roughly a 15-minute walk. The standard room with a 1.3-meter double bed is quite small, especially the bathroom, which is even smaller than those at Toyoko Inn. The facilities are a bit old, but the free natural hot spring (available from 3:00 PM to 9:00 AM) is a definite highlight. I visited during the Emperor's Birthday long weekend, so prices were higher than usual and rooms were scarce. When I went for a hot spring bath around 9:00 PM, I even had to queue to shower. Many locals also choose this hotel."

"There is no coffee or tea provided complimentarily. There’s no spoon for stirring coffee even if you buy your own coffee or tea. So you also need to buy spoon from convenient shop or bring along a spoon from home when you travel to the hotel. The cleaning is not everyday when when I stay there for 11 nights. When clean up signage is out in the door they are being ignored. So you will not know what to do with the rubbish piled up in the rubbish bin. Even when cleaning was done, the standard was not good. Can still find stain in the sink and the bath. Some of the personnel at front desk also do not provide the standard greetings that would expect from service provider when eyes met. I was there tired and wanted to have a check in early, one of the girl said no negotiation check in at 3 pm. Then another said can check in earlier by 1 hour at 2 pm and and pay 1200 yen. So they don’t really know what they are doing? Instruction on early check in not clear? They also need to pay attention to the maintenance of the room and that depends on the cleaning crew and the maintenance team. Don’t stay near the vending machine room, you will hear dropping of the soft drinks. Beside the human factor at the front desk and the cleaning crew, the restaurant is good and the location is great. Bus stops to the city central is 5 minutes away and if walk to the city is about 15 to 20 minutes depending on where you go. Longer if you get distracted."

"The location is very convenient, close to Meitetsu Nagoya Station and the bus terminal. I've stayed here before after exploring the surrounding area. There are several large department stores and drugstores nearby, making shopping easy. There are also plenty of dining options in the vicinity. The staff are very enthusiastic. The room isn't huge, but it's well laid out, and the bed isn't very big, which is perfect for a solo traveler. You can pick up yukata and various toiletries yourself. The breakfast is good, with delicious local specialties. You can store your luggage, and the lobby is a great spot to relax with a coffee. Excellent!"

"Very close to Sakae Station and the Bus Terminal, but if you have a heavy carrier, the walk may be lengthened to an extra block due to a lack of elevators on the nearer side to the hotel. Interesting style of a sliding door between the bedroom and hall/powder room area.  No tub, only shower booth with shower gel/shampoo/conditioner. Free coffee daily from 7am to midnight, with breakfast cereal in the morning, and some tea bags. Downside for smokers is, no smoking area in the vacinity. One can smoke at the 7/11 couple of blocks away. One can get a portable ash tray and smoke outside the hotel building.  There seems to be bike rental service available, which I never got to."

The cleanliness wasn't ideal; the housekeeping staff seemed to cut corners, and dirty towels and sheets were often overlooked. Still, for the price, it offers good value for money."

"The hotel's location isn't far from Nagoya Station, so it's convenient even with luggage. The service is very enthusiastic, and the public bath's temperature is just right, unlike some other hotels where it's scalding hot. They even offer popsicles after your bath! If you're not a fan of public baths, you can grab bath salts and even face masks, all provided free of charge. Overall, the hygiene is quite good, but the toilet had a strong odor. It might be due to the wallpaper in the toilet, which makes it hard to get rid of smells. Although they provide air freshener spray, it wasn't very effective. The bed was very comfortable, and if you don't like the pillows in the room, you can choose a different one. My only, and I think significant, issue is with the room's curtains. Why can't they use regular curtains? The current ones let in far too much light, and I was woken up by the bright morning light, which really affected my sleep."
