"The staff were friendly and the location was good, but there were many inconveniences. 1. No windows in the room, no fresh air to drink. 2. Breakfast menu is the same for a month. 3. The washbasin drain is broken and can't contain water. 4. The refrigerator freezes all the food. (No control function) 5. When the microwave is turned on, the blocker goes down. 6. You have to turn off six switches to turn off all the lights in the room. (No function to turn on and turn off all at once) 7. Pigeon's nest is on the wall, so you can often hear food, birds, and so on. 8. The air conditioner is loud and you have to turn it off when you make a phone call."

"This may have been our best hotel stay, ever. This hotel is great! Everyone that works there, is wonderful! From checking in, to the valets, everybody was so friendly and helpful. The hotel is so clean, and everything in the room worked. The room had a microwave & mini fridge, most only have a mini fridge. It’s in a perfect location! A short walk to Texas de Brazil, or Fed Ex Forum, or the Red Birds stadium. This will be where we stay, anytime we’re in Memphis. I highly recommend it! I can’t say enough positive things about this place. Just wonderful!"

"Overall very low quality for a Hampton Inn. Nice staff, very old building and sketchy adjacent parking garage, elevator broken, pan handlers galore, too close to annoying homeless, ******** ***, and drunks. I walked to FedEx, then to post office, and back to the Hampton Inn today (3 blocks total) and an older man on a bicycle followed me for five minutes shouting insults and racist slurs because a i refused to give him money as I exited FedEx. There is an abundant police presence in the area but if you leave the main three blocks of Beale, drunks are hassling people for alcohol. Very sad for the well-intentioned and hard-working locals. 👎. The breakfast at Hampton Inn was pretty good except for the gravy. This was a grey soup, not sausage gravy. Biscuits were terrific as was the staff person on duty."

"Very nice hotel that is on walking distance from Beale street. They have swimming pool inside, but no jacuzzi, even though I saw it on one of the pictures when booking. Breakfast is ok. Parking is $35 a day."

"One of the best hotels we have ever stayed in . Staff super friendly love this place . Bar is awesome love the video games to play in lobby . The staff is super friendly an helpful . Food is delicious . Dog friendly our puppy was so happy . Room is awesome bed is super comfortable. The shower is amazing staying another night for sure one of the best places ever !!! "

"My first approach when I arrived on site wasn’t good. The staff that was helping me was a lady. I didn’t get her name but she wasn’t friendly. Her demeanor wasn’t there at all like she was rushing. No biggie. I didn’t complain. I stayed in town for 3 days. When I got to my room it was a ADA room. I didn’t ask for. I didn’t complain. Turned tv on and could not watch. I called front desk the lady gave me such a lame excuse. Maintenance came. He spoke no English. Had to translate on phone. He fixed. But it immediately went off again. I started to ask for a new room all together but decided to just write review. I feel like they save the good rooms for the airport staff like the attendants and pilots as I seen a lot of them coming and going. River view not worth it at all on my end."
