"There’s a receptionist who was very nice, she helped us with our luggage before we checked in and even after we checked out. She’s very friendly and also professional! About the room, it’s good overall with the price. Everything was totally fine to stay there for a short trip!"
"Staff were amazing!! Can’t thank them enough for guiding us along this trip.
Sadly the room was not up to standard,
Really disappointed with the bathroom, silverfish in the sink and bath, shower was unusable due to clogged trains, beds were clean. Room included iron and board alongside other little amenities.
General hygiene of the hotel was great, downstairs was beautiful, although we didn’t eat/ drink from the bar and restaurant it did look very nice.
View was beautiful but would’ve been nicer if the windows were clean and hairless."
"Clean and comfortable. Very serene location. Will come back again"

"Angel hotel has more of a home like environment than a hotel. It’s an old building with limited modern facilities. Location is fantastic, breakfast was ok and luxury is limited. The staff were all very friendly and ever ready to help or support."
"Their waiters were easy-going, but they smelled a smell before walking to the corridor and entering the room. Fortunately, we lived in G/F because there was no elevator. Fortunately, the hot water in the bath was hot enough."
"This hotel was very modern, when we arrived the service was amazing, the staff were super helpful. The rooms were so spacious so perfect for two girls who came for a concert! Couldn’t fault it and highly recommend."
"We were allocated a silent room. It was good with good bathroom and shower. Unfortunately there was yoghurt and strawberries left in a bowl in the fridge by previous person. Also clothes left in the wardrobe. This was remedied but obviously not too pleasant a start. No water in the room.
Breakfast was great with plenty of choice and staff were very professional and friendly.
Would return."
"We stayed in Future Inn Cardiff for the first time and had a great time there. The room was large and good for our family of four. The location was fantastic and well connected to city centre. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The price was right and finally the included breakfast was really proper and fantastic. Thank you."
"Great location, 5 minutes walk to major commercial areas / high streets / Cardiff Market. Bus stops nearby.
Room is small & basic but very clean, hot shower and fully air-conditioned (cooling and heating that guest can have full control on temperature setting)"
"The only reasons I gave 4/5 stars for service was the self service hot beverage station and making your own toast. Order their specials better, however, this time my poached eggs were not soft. Excellent wine and excellent bar lunch which they allowed us to eat in the restaurant which was a bonus. I love this location. Walks through the wetlands and to Penarth and easy links to Barry Island. Spa brilliant and the quiet area next to the gym brilliant for reading"

Great
EEmmasaundersI couldn’t not fault the hotel, I amazing stay the staff were very helpful and friendly too. Hotel is right by central, easy access to pubs and restaurants.
The room was fabulous too OMG I didn’t wanted come home. :(
I had room service I had pasta bolognaise which was blinking lush I wanted another one.
GGuest UserI had a great stay at this hotel. The room was very clean and hygienic, and everything was well-maintained and practical. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful throughout my stay. Overall, the hotel offers excellent value for money. I would definitely recommend it to my friends.
RRhiBeePositives: Receptionist on the desk was nice and polite.
The room itself was large, had a kettle with coffee etc, iron and ironing board, shampoo and body wash, comfy large bed.
Negatives: the hotel was so loud not from other rooms but from outside, I did ask for a quiet room. But was woken again at 4am with the sound of bass that carried on until 5am! Should have guessed it was going to be noisy when the receptionist mentioned they could provide ear plugs if needed!
The receptionist did say if it was too loud we could move but it wasn’t at 3pm.
And there was no point in moving at 2am when we heard the outside noise.
If I could guarantee a room that was definitely quiet I would stay again.
BBri BrackenI had a great stay at the Hilton Cardiff. The hotel was very nice, modern, well-kept, and in a great location. The front desk staff were excellent: welcoming, professional, and quick to assist with anything I needed. My room was spotless, and the bed was extremely comfortable, which made for a restful night’s sleep. Cleanliness was clearly a priority throughout the hotel. Overall, a reliable and pleasant experience. Would definitely stay again.
OOwainEvansI stayed here for one night for a brief business trip to Cardiff. Its location is amazing right next to the main train station. this made it very very convenient to travel in from London and check in within minutes.
The room was comfortable and the shower and bathroom were great. The breakfast was also quite impressive considering the hotel isn’t very expensive.
GGuest UserI would like to recommend this hotel. The reception service is extremely kind and friendly. I contacted them when I lost my stuff and then they immediately do found it for me. Lovely service, good location and cheap price.
GGuest UserI really enjoyed my stay overall. The location was fantastic—on a beautiful street—and the hotel building itself is stunning. When I arrived, I was warmly welcomed by a very kind Italian gentleman, which gave me a great first impression. My room, though located in a separate area, was clean, modern, and nicely decorated. Everything looked fresh and well thought out.
However, I was disappointed to find visible stains on the bed sheets. While I believe they had been washed, the stains hadn’t come out and the sheets were still used, which didn’t match the high standard the rest of the hotel presented. I think they should have replaced them.
Another minor inconvenience was the bathroom light, which was automatic and triggered the extractor fan. This meant that even during the night, using the bathroom caused the noisy fan to stay on for a while, which could’ve been avoided with a manual light switch, in my opinion.
Despite these issues, the stay was mostly very positive, but I can’t give a full five stars because of the sheets. Hopefully this can be improved for future guests.
GGuest UserWifi in the room didn’t work I had to check twice with the reception but it didn’t work I had to go to the lobby to access wifi. Despite having allowed to check out at 1pm housekeeper still knocked on my door at 12pm. Receptionist gave wrong info about going to the city. They made mistake with my number of luggages. Very disappointed with this Marriott property
TThismorningiwokeupinI stayed here for a business trip for one week. The room seemed to be clean but it is so dark that you can’t really tell if it is clean or not. That’s actually an issue - the lightening is bad. I couldn’t really work in the room since it had only a yellow ambient lightening and not a normal main source of light. The bathroom can be slightly cold if you don’t leave the door open so that warm air from the A/C can enter. It is shameful that they don’t have a breakfast included, especially for long stays in the hotel which is not so cheap and out of the center… at least one small sandwich would make things better, but nop 👎🏼. Another thing is that the area is not very nice. Unless you have to do something in that area, i don’t recommend you to stay. I was even told by taxi drivers to not walk around alone after it gets dark. Before I knew that, I did take a walk and it really felt a bit unsafe. The staff was ok, I didn’t have much contact with them. Only had an incident when I arrived - they couldn’t find me in their system (it was booked under other name by mistake but I actually changed it a week before arrival so I don’t know why they didn’t have updated information). There is a small gym, but almost all machines, except one, are for cardio exercises. Almost no restaurants or shops in the area.
GGuest UserWe arrived at Cardiff Central by train, which is 15mins walking to this Premier Inn. It was very welcoming and staff friendly, rooms clean, with as much tea and coffee, which you took from the travellers store at the main entrance. My only gripe is as I have dietary requirements, They couldn't cater for them and had to make do with what was on offer. No gluten free food at night, Only what I would call general burgers, lasagne, steak battered fish and chips. Only veg on offer was peas. In this day and age Hotels need to cater for a variety of people's health conditions. Vegan/vegetarians are not Gluten free or Ibs sufferers or Celiacs. Which are complicated problems. It would be helpful if they offered something which could be adapted. .
