Indigo properties in Changsha

Overall, this hotel is definitely one I'd visit again. This stay was for a short trip to celebrate a family birthday. I emailed the hotel in advance, and they kindly prepared a cake and upgraded our room, which we were very happy with. The hotel lobby is on the 23rd floor and is very chic. From the moment we parked, there was dedicated service, and a pleasant scent greeted us as we entered the hotel. The entire hotel has a strong design aesthetic. Whether it's the public areas, elevators, lobby, or rooms, you just can't help but take pictures. A special mention goes to the hotel's pool, which has two large transparent glass panels installed underneath – it's incredibly cinematic! Regarding the breakfast buffet, first, my family insisted I highlight the bakery section. The quality far surpasses many high-end bakeries, and everything is freshly baked. The bakery is probably the biggest highlight of the hotel's breakfast. Second, it was the first time I've seen a hotel combine orange juice and Americano, allowing guests to make their own 'Orange C Americano' or 'Grape Americano' – a really great idea! BUT! The overall taste of the juices and Americano could be improved; perhaps too much water was added. A brilliant idea was unfortunately let down by quality issues. Third, the variety wasn't extensive, but a very unassuming Swiss muesli bowl was surprisingly delicious – a total unexpected treat! I had it for two days straight. Finally, the semi-buffet egg station offered several preparation options, which is a fantastic touch and greatly enhances the experience! I must also mention the hotel's kids' area. While not vast in facilities, it had exactly what we love to play with, perfect for a family stroll after dinner. Lastly, the location might seem a bit off-center, but since we had a car, it was very convenient. The underground parking is absolutely five-star designed and completely free. Even without a car, the subway station is just across the road and is the first stop, making it super easy to get to the train station. The hotel is surrounded by high-rises around Meixi Lake, and not far away is a central axis green island with a great design. We chose Chen Shuangcai for supper two nights in a row – it was excellent! Therefore, overall, I'd give this hotel a 96 out of 100. The only minor drawback is that the service levels can vary slightly. Finally, I sincerely hope this hotel continues to thrive and improve.
