"Stayed as a couple at Club King Double room for 5 nights during the Amphi Festival. Pros: - Unbeatable location, walking distance to everything while not within the Old Town which is way too touristy. Five-minute walk from the train that takes you straight to the airport. - Room 99% soundproof, very private and peaceful (stayed at the Club floor, 6/6). - Amazing bed. - Full-size working desk in the room. - Daytime service very professional, helpful, and friendly. - The Club Floor lounge has it's own very good breakfast buffet (included with the Club rooms at no extra cost - apart from the higher cost of the Club room itself - so you might skip paying extra for the regular breakfast at the restaurant). Also daytime tea with cake and an evening snack are served as well. The snack could become your legitimate dinner if you need it, as there are hot options and appetizers. Amazing view of the cathedral from the Lounge. - The food was amazing. Cons: - The night shift staff is not at the same level as the day shift, so try to resolve your matters during the day. - Some visible wear and tear in the room (not important to me, but might bother some who expect everything to be 100% at this price point). Overall: - Highly recommend, would stay again."

"Took a short break in Cologne during weekend. Marriott is a nice place to stay with five minutes walk from the central station. Easy to find on arrival and easy for your departure by catching a train to airport. Very cozy bed and clean room with minimal noise. Except the WiFi takes a bit longer to activate but that’s fine."

"Great location, this Hilton has great sized rooms, comfortable beds and perfect service.  Ideal for families and for those travelling via train as the station is only a 5 min walk.  Cathedral and old town are also very close by to explore."
