Hotels in Cologne City Center, Cologne

A modern hotel right in the city center, a stone's throw from the cathedral and shops. Good breakfast, nice decor, pleasant welcome, friendly staff, comfortable bed and linens. BUT: the room was extremely small with the bed against the wall, forcing us to crawl over each other, and had a depressing view. The bathroom had no ventilation, making the small room very stuffy after showering. This meant opening the windows, resulting in noise from fans. So so so comfortable (this last phrase seems sarcastic given the context).

Don’t stay here in summer it’s absolute hell. It doesn’t have any working air con regardless of what they say and the room is 28-30c at night! The hotel owners need to spend a few million euros overhauling the entire system and it’s obvious they won’t ever do that Sadly because of this the front desk staff bare the brunt of complaints therefore creating a toxic work environment the room itself is nice but sadly would never book again during summer months

It is the perfect place to spend your time in Köln, just a 15-minute walk to the famous cathedral and 10 minutes to the city centre. Many food spots nearby (a 4-5 minute walk). It has a parking garage, which is very convenient for us. The receptionists are friendly and helpful. We had a wonderful stay at Pullman. Highly recommended! 👍 Ps. Stunning view from the hotel during sunsets. I believe the other side of the hotel offers a clear view of the cathedral.

A basic single room near Cologne Cathedral, around 5 minutes walking distance from the Cologne Central Station. The check in process is easy (through their app), however, there's some issues with loading the page, so I ended up having to do it again at the front desk. The room is quite small, no proper table and chair for seating area, but has a small ensuite toilet. The heater is working well, as well as the hot shower water. There's no kettle provided in the hotel, and coffee with a fee at the G floor. There's elevator/lift in the hotel. This particular room doesn't have the cathedral view. It's a conveniently located hostel, so if you're on a budget trip, you may consider station here. They also provide luggage storage service before check-in & after check out.

The Convenient Hotel in Germany boasts an elegant exterior and an interior that perfectly blends modern design with practicality. My stay was very comfortable; the room was clean and well-equipped, and the staff were professional and efficient. Facilities: The room facilities are relatively new and include an electric kettle. Hygiene: The hygiene is good. Environment: The overall environment is excellent. It's less than an 8-minute walk from the station. From my high-floor room, I could see the top of the church. It's also a very short walk to the church, about 5-10 minutes. Service: The overall service is good, and the staff are very patient. There are a few steps from the lobby to the elevators, but there's a small lift available to help with luggage, which is a very thoughtful touch.

The location is perfect, only few minutes walk from the central station. The staff was also nice and friendly, enough support. And there is dryer available, which was nice. But overall, the room and corridor looks really like a prison or hospital, not at all giving the vibe of holiday stay... Luggage storage was available for free! we can store luggage until 11pm on the day of check out. There was no kitchen. There is locker OUTSIDE the room, which is so weird. We need to use our own padlock to lock the locker but most of them were occupied or not working (broken). Even with the padlock, it could be open easily so I did not use the locker. It seemed there is not enough number of lockers available compared to the number of the rooms and beds, at least lockers that are not broken. There is no curtain no privacy, even is a mixed gender room. It really feeled like a jail or something. The bedside light is too bright so that if one of us turn it on, the whole room could be bright enough, which is ridiculous. Also the sound proof was terrible that we can hear people outside singing, screaming and DJ-ing midnight, even with our windows and curtains closed. The sound of closing the door was so loud and the door seemed half broken. Also we could hear people talking in the corridor. The shower and toilet were also outside the room and they smelled so bad. Did not feel clean.

The location right at the Rhine Promenade was great, everything was fast reachable, but: - previous telephone agreement on a 3rd bed was very difficult because German wasn't his mother tongue, but it did - we got a room right in one of the roofing bells, although the hotel was not full of occupation and it had 30 degrees! It was incredibly hot because there was no air conditioning, but only a small ventilator, and through the open window barely fresh air came, as the smells from the kitchen and the smoking restaurant guests moved directly up to the room, so no sleep possible before 1:00 - In addition, there was no flying grid outside the window, so all possible animals such as cages, spiders, mugs, etc. in the room - Accordingly dirty the room with spine and spine tissue, but also the tape was ugly - the mattresses were terrible, in the middle higher than on the sides, you could only be in the middle, otherwise you rolled out - in the bathroom the fuges of the whole wall had black fungi, the brace head did not fit into the holder and had to be kept by hand Only the wall with the TV and the TV itself were once renewed, but otherwise not recommended.

The location is great, close to everything. Hotel was spotlessly clean and the staff were very helpful and friendly. The only downside is no on site parking. We dropped off our luggage and had to find a parking lot in the city and walk back to the hotel. Apart from that everything was excellent 👌
