Bins in room were covered with thick with congealed and crusted filth. Rooms very small. Checkout time on Agoda and guest information book clearly state 1100pm checkout. Receptionist called at 1015 telling me I had overstayed. When told of 1100 checkout time she said she needed to be informed first. When I left early to avoid more annoyance (housekeeping politely asking to be let in) I showed the photo evidence of 1100 checkout and receptionist said that ”1000 is normal”.

My second stay. It’s a fabulous apartment hotel Very clean, everything you need inc DW and washing machine Pool is Devine Breakfast had all the trimmings The staff were more than hospitable We had drinks in the penthouse bar, and were served complimentary nibbles Whilst the manager made himself known and made us very welcome Love the place will visit again

No breakfast, you can cook by yourself. Good location

Small bungalows are complete, good overall, but poor sound insulation, footsteps are often heard at the door at night

My stay here was marred by the unnecessarily long check in process involving paperwork that could have been done electronically during the booking process - and my ongoing annoyance at being charged an additional $100 security bond at check in. All in the middle of the night, for a prepaid booking. Was assured the $100 would be refunded the next day, but 5 days later it hasn't been. Phoned the reception to enquire and was told by a rude receptionist that it was my banks problem and that they are entitled to charge this fee ”in case I damaged the room”. I haven't ever been charged more than a $1 holding fee before, so am not impressed with this ”management policy”, particularly given the room was prepaid. The actual room was clean and comfortable, a light breakfast is included which is good value. Parking is an additional charge - it would be very difficult to park here with a large 4WD, the spaces are tiny. I'm really disappointed that the management processes seem to be all about not trusting guests and making staying there a complex process...it's actually a nice hotel that is thoughtfully set up for short stay travellers, but I left with a bad feeling and feel sorry for the night reception staff who have to enforce ”policy”. Everywhere these days there are signs up about abuse not being tolerated...being combative towards paying customers isn't helpful.

Perfect location with all the restaurants, Stokes wharf, gardens at your doorstep. Reception staff excellent. Curves for breakfast, book when you arrive $20 pp only, as opposed to $38pp if you just front. Ubers and taxis dead easy. Easy walk via sky Bridge to city.

The location is very good and easy to find. The hotel has breakfast and can be booked in advance, which is more convenient. The carpet in the room is about color, it looks old and not too refreshing.

My last minute trip to darwin turned to be the best trip with great deal of Air ticket and Accommodation booked with Trip.com H on Mitchell Apartment Hotel is Good Location walking Distance , Room equipped with Microwave Oven, Refrigerator , Dish washer machine, Stove , Room is clean, as well as Safe to stay.

The hotel is in a good location, the core area, to the pedestrian street, supermarket, crocodile park and World War II park, the seaside, etc. are relatively close, walk for a few minutes to twenty minutes. I fixed the apartment. When I was ready to wash my clothes at night, I found that the washing machine didn't work. Moreover, there was a kitchen in the washing machine where the former guest was placed inside the kitchen to wipe the tablecloth. Without washing, it was sour and smelly, and I was too lazy to ask the front desk for feedback. Cleaning should be strengthened!

This Resort is just off a main road and is located about 22 mins walk to Waterfront which was convenient to the event I was attending. Woolworth is just across the road from the resort which is a bonus! adding to that, an 8 mins walk to take you to cafes, restaurants and bars.
