"The room was quite spacious, but it was very noisy upstairs. You should report any noise issues to the front desk promptly. The breakfast was good and the place was very clean. It's a 10-minute walk to Crocosaurus Cove, where you can experience the Cage of Death and try crocodile burgers. You can also hike to Darwin Harbour to see the WWII Memorial and visit the Mindil Beach Sunset Market on Thursdays and Sundays for food, which is about a 20-minute walk away."

"The rooms were not in the best of shape. The spa did not work, the air conditioner was not in good working order which is needed in Darwin due to the heat, but the general cleanliness was good. The place seemed it was going to be renovated one day, but not sure. One pool was green. The overall experience was ok, but if I had had to stay for more than a weekend it would have been better at another place. It did the job of providing a bed to sleep, but best to be away from the resort during the day, which we did. "

"Best features: we had a ground floor unit. So we had a door out to the garden.  The bathroom was clean and medium size.  Beds perfect. Space-not cramped.  Room additions fine for making your own breakfast microwave and fridge included also a table and chairs outside on concrete great for washing dishes. The hotel is located away from passing traffic. Air con and fan worked well..  Downside:  if you’re staying a while and want to go shopping you have to get to Casuarina shops to get a local bus to city centre.  Otherwise it’s approx 30min drive. Casuarina Is an air-conditioned Westfield type shopping mall. We liked it and would stay again Didn’t get s chance to try the restaurant and pool but the menu look good a pond seemed welcoming."

"I highly recommend the Hilton Garden Inn Darwin. I had just finished my trip to Uluru on the day I checked in. Although I rested for two days at the DoubleTree by Hilton Alice Springs, I also camped one night in Berrimah during the 1500 km journey from Alice Springs to Darwin. I was quite tired when I arrived at the Hilton Garden Inn Darwin, but the front desk staff were incredibly warm and welcoming. They upgraded me to a sea-view room, room 910. I didn't catch the name of the tall, young Caucasian woman at the time, but she was lovely. Dee was also very enthusiastic and generous. All the front desk staff were excellent; they genuinely cared and made guests feel right at home. The breakfast selection was extensive, and the honey was particularly delicious, the croissants were great, and the fruit was fresh. Room 910 offered a stunning 180-degree ocean view – the deep blue sky, calm sea, green trees, and grass were just breathtaking! 🌹🌹🌹"

"Free WiFi which isn’t the best but does work, no other amenities in the rooms except shampoo/conditioner. Clean rooms not much tv option and the rooms do not block out much noise can hear everything that’s goes on in the halls."

"The location is very good, looking west to see the most beautiful sunset and sunset in Darwin, the facilities are complete, **, Italian, Chinese, swimming pool..., the front desk service is warm and thoughtful, the room is clean and tidy, facing the lagoon pool, the indoor area is big enough. The disadvantage is that the door from the room into the bathroom is too thick, every time the in and out will automatically close, trouble and close the door momentarily loud. When the checkout, I knew that the mineral water in the minibar was charged, but housekeeping and the waiter who checked the minibar entered the room and said it was free. As a result, four bottles were charged 24 Australian dollars when the checkout was done. I was too lazy to talk to the front desk about the theory. I felt that I was also seeing people. The nice guy takes the money. It is best not to include breakfast in the reservation, because there are several fixed meals (see photo) with breakfast. "Perfect location with all the restaurants, Stokes wharf, gardens at your doorstep. Reception staff excellent. Curves for breakfast, book when you arrive $20 pp only, as opposed to $38pp if you just front. Ubers and taxis dead easy. Easy walk via sky Bridge to city. "
