Datong is in the peak summer travel season, so hotel prices are relatively high. This B&B is quite affordable. The room I booked didn't have a window, but the bathroom did. So, the ventilation was average. The bedding was okay. Also, the air conditioner was a water-cooled unit, so the cooling effect was average.

The B&B is nice. The facilities are average. The room was damp when I checked in, and the quilt, sheets, and pillows were all damp. The owner refused to acknowledge the dampness. It was a poor stay.

The hotel is on the side of the main road, surrounded by wasteland or construction sites. Opening a B&B here feels like a paradise. Parking at the door is very convenient, and it is relatively close to Datong South Station and the ancient city.
Facilities: Basically complete.
Hygiene: Changing and washing of sheets is not as good as in hotels. There will be small marks after washing.
Environment: The surroundings are very quiet, with basically no noise pollution.

Advantages: The host is very nice, it is a warm and unique B&B. You can even book breakfast in advance and tell the host what you want to eat. Disadvantage: The sound insulation effect is not good. If there is partying and kicking in the next room, there will be sounds or laughter coming through.
