Tatvamasi Homestay

We stayed two nights in Tatvamasi Homestay. It was a great start for our travel through India. Pankaj was very helpful, friendly und trustful. He showed us around and explained us everything. The rooms are simple, but very big and clean with everything you need (fridge, balcony). The area around the hotel is very interesting, not that crowded with a lot of restaurants. You can get easily in the city with metro or uber. We can highly recommend the Tatvamasi Homestay. Pankaj made us feel welcome.

Where do I start.... An absolute massive thankyou to Pankaj and team from Tatvamasi Homestay for their terrific accommodation and experience during my first time experience in India. Pankaj was such a welcoming host who put so much time and effort into making his guests feel right at home; from the buttomless cups of tea and the stories he willingly shared with us it was such a positive and enjoyable experience. Whats Nearby:? Tatvamasi Homestay is situated perfectly just outside of M Block market which supplies guest with gorgeous bakeries (defense bakery & Nik Bakers) which serves incredible pastries and cakes and exceptional coffee's and is also home to quaint bars ( The Beer Café & Depot48) that supplied a variety of beers and wine with live music entertainments. If bars and cafes are not your cup of tea, M Block is also home to some wonderful Asian, European and American restaurants to cater for all. M block also features several chemists for your convenience and fitness centres to focus and maintain health and fitness. Tatvamasi Homestay supplies you with a perfect little private bedroom featuring heating and cooling for all weather comforts, your own private restroom, a kettle with complimentary tea, coffee and biscuits and ready filled water jugs for you easement. Smoking: Although premises do not allow for smoking inside there is an upstairs balcony for those needing a puff or a breathe of fresh air. Whats Nearby: Nearby you will have access to Chittaranjan Park Kali Mandir Society Hindu Temple which has rituals during the evenings that are really empowering to watch and be apart of. You will be met with this incredible ring of the bells and ritual demonstrations as they commense the ceremony which slices through the air. I highly recommend taking your time to experience it. Tatvamasi is also nearby some amazing tourist attractions (only a couple minutes by Uber) such as Tughlakabad Fort Delhi, Qutub Minar and Lotus Temple. I highly recommend taking some time out to experience these lovely places too. If all this fails Pankaj has a wealth of knowledge on hidden gems and must see attractions too, I highly recommend to pick his brains for ideas. Rooms: Rooms provided a perfect double bed with plenty of rooms for bags and belongings. Private bathroom with hair-dryer, vanity sink and shower with an adjustable arm. A relatively large fridge is also supplied to keep your water cool or to store snacks. The room also features a small TV with basic channels for your convenience. Nearby activities: Mehrauli Archeological Park Qutub Minar Tughlakabad Fort Lotus Temple Akshardham (They hold an exceptional lights and story telling experience during the evenings) Highly recommend. Walkability: M block is a simple stroll away from the accommodation which cut's through some small lane ways and colourful parks. If walking is not your strong suits I highly suggest a tuk tuk or car hire through Uber. Uber is safer and keep prices in check and the

Really good quite area to stay. Really nice host, help with any need. Hot water everyday, no mosquitos or insects. There is a street full of banks, restaurants, markets, soas, etc 5 min walking, you can always end your day there to have dinnet or brink a beer.

Very homely, safe and friendly place. Centrally located and great host. Ever ready to assist. Had stayed there for 2 days and the staff were very welcoming. Pankaj the host, is warm and friendly and makes you feel at home. Would recommend to anyone who'd like to stay in an unobstrusive place yet all basic needs taken care of

Good well connected locality. Very clean and spacious room. The owner is very friendly and helpful in getting around the locality and giving useful information. Many food options in nearby market or through delivery apps. We had a pleasant stay.

We stayed in Tatvamasi Homestay during our trip to India, during our stay in Delhi. The homestay is very comfortable and clean in comparison with Western standards. The rooms are cosy and the bathrooms are impeccable. We thought that those conditions were only achievable in very expensive hotels but we were positively surprised. Moreover, the neighbourhood is very calm and clean, located in a very nice zone in South Delhi. The owner is an amazing person, helped us with everything we needed and even showed us the neighbourhood (all the good restaurants and coffee places around). The rest of the staff is very kind and maintains the homestay clean and cosy all the time. On our way back to Delhi to catch our flight we stayed here again without thinking twice. I totally recommend it to everyone!
