Decent Budget Option for Solo Travelers, but Needs Improvement
If you're a solo traveller looking for a budget-friendly place in Dubai during the high season, this hostel could be a good choice in terms of location and affordability, especially since hotel prices in the city can get very high.
The kitchen is well-equipped for those who like to cook, and the room was relatively clean for a hostel. However, it was quite warm at night — I had to sleep without a t-shirt — so better ventilation or air conditioning would make a big difference. Also, having more power sockets for charging phones and laptops would be really helpful.
On the downside, cleanliness in shared spaces could be improved. The reception area smelled unpleasant due to staff keeping their food there, which gave a bad impression upon arrival.
Overall, it's okay for short stays if you're on a tight budget, but there’s definitely room for improvement in cleanliness and comfort.
