Everything is good. Not a new hotel. But clean and convenient location. All places are nearby. Quiet hotel. No kettle in the room.

Very clean and newly renovated hotel. Just that the location is quite secluded. Must have own transportation for more convenience. Room is quite spacious for 2 people.

We stayed one night on our way through Surabaya from Maluku and on into Java. The hotel did everything we needed and is within walking distance of one of Surabaya's main train stations for trains to other cities. There is a good restaurant 50m away, and even a few local sites nearby like an old submarine you can go inside(!?).

Stay 2 days at hotel emerald for the impressions: + strategic location in downtown Sby, about 10 minutes from Gubeng station, and tp, near restaurants, about 5 minutes drive, actually it's close, only the area has lots of red lights + breakfast even though it's ala carte, but it tastes good 👍 it tastes like a rice bowl s*lar*a + got a room on the 1st floor so close there was no need to go up + double bed room with a spacious king size bed + hot water for bathing works properly and the current is fast, only the knob to turn the shower sometimes dislodges, it seems like it's time to replace it + no hotel slippers + WIFI is quite fast during the day, a bit slow at night but good overall - if you get a room on the 2nd floor and so on, you have to go up the stairs half a floor first and then there is an elevator (the receptionist said, I didn't try to take the elevator because I got a room on the 1st floor) - got a room without a window, but there is another twin bed room with a window and a terrace on the 1st floor - uneven parking, hard to pull the suitcase, looks like it needs to be repaired - the lobby is cramped and small with only about 2-3 seats, not suitable for long waits or for chatting - There is no heater and compliment bottled mineral water, but as a substitute a pot of drinking water is provided and 2 glass glasses to fill yourself with fresh gallon water dispenser brand CL*O which is provided in the hallway of the hotel but the choice of hot water in the dispenser when I tried it didn't work , only plain water works Overall good, as long as you get to the 1st floor then it's not a problem you don't need to go up, good breakfast, please pay attention to the hot water dispenser for drinking Subaya can function properly

Very enjoyable, even though I only stayed for 1 hour because there was a wedding event in a building near the hotel, just walking distance. I like the hotel, it's clean and comfortable...with a city view. Worth it for that price in the middle of the city..love it!!!

For cleanliness, it's pretty good, the service is also okay, not bad, overall okay, sorry there are no photos of the hotel

Big rooms, rooms with mini fridge Hotel near to 2 malls. Breakfast ok. Fast check-in.

Hostel located in the middle of Surabaya city which is very affordable, walking distance from Gubeng Lama station and several tourist attractions, malls, Grand City Surabaya. Very friendly service with very cheap room rental costs, suitable for backpackers who can try it. Free breakfast is provided with toast and tea or coffee. There are also lots of rooms, very comfortable, quiet and not hot, you can use the wifi which is quite fast, the bathrooms and toilets are clean.

The location is close to the Grand city and also close to the gubeng station, for the service is very good, the room is cleaned a day,
