I was very happy with the room type; the front desk upgraded me to a suite. I think anyone visiting Xunyang for the first time and unsure where to stay should definitely choose this place. It was incredibly comfortable, especially being a river-view room!!! Plus, it's great value for money – you definitely won't regret it. The breakfast even included Xunyang's special pickled vegetable noodle soup, which was delicious! Thumbs up 👍 I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in town for business. Preferably for two nights, haha.

While the hotel claims to use a German thermostat, the results are disappointing. The two nights we stayed there were unbearably hot and humid, and the hotel only provided floor fans to cool us down, claiming the air conditioning was fully operational. This suggests this is a common complaint among guests.

Although it is an old star hotel refurbished, the quality of the renovation is very high, the high-end charm of the star hotel is very good, much stronger than the current matryo-style hotel chain decoration style. The intelligent customer control response in the room was very fast, the bath water was very comfortable and came as soon as it was opened, the bed and quilt were clean and tidy and comfortable, and the breakfast was rich and of good quality. In short, this price is too good value.

The overall facilities of the hotel are relatively new. The environment in the mountains is also good. However, the sound insulation is not good. The neighboring room was drinking and making noise on the terrace until more than 3 am. I called the front desk to report it, but it was not resolved. It was so noisy that I couldn't sleep at all.
