"The hotel is great but the cost of the room was extremely high. I visit this hotel occasionally and I've never had any complaints until now. I understand there was an event happening the weekend I stayed but the amount of money I paid for the stay should have gotten me all the services offered by the hotel. The valet parking was unavailable which caused a problem for me due to some health conditions. However, the overall stay was good."

"The location of this hotel was lovely right next to RiverWalk mall. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful. Didn’t like that carpet in the room and hallways kinda of gave those areas a smell (more so the hallways) Also, wasn’t a fan of the shower/tub combo wish all hotels would update to showers only. But our overall stay was good."

"It was Mardi Gras week and the hotel was super busy. Pool was great though it’s a little small. Location was fantastic, right smack on bourbon street. They do lack basic amenities like in-room complimentary bottled water for a four star hotel. Desire restaurant has got great food and especially the oysters.
They are also a dog friendly hotel, but pet toilet was artificial grass / green carpet located at the basement carpark, which wasn’t very convenient and it smells bad."

"After a little messing around with the room we booked (noisy due to close by building work), the hotel was excellent. No issues moving room"

"The room is large, the bathroom area is also large, it feels suitable for friends to go out together, there are two sinks, girls can make up at the same time~ There is no view from the window of the hotel, but the location is very good. You can go to Canal Street in a few minutes and buy a public transport ticket to go to all the attractions. Although there is no driving, the hotel has a parking lot with valet parking and car service. The highlight is the excellent service attitude. There is a travel consultation downstairs. You can make reservations for various special tours and restaurant reservations. There are many companies and lines that can pick up and drop off at the hotel entrance. The price is almost the same as that of the travel agency. The staff also Would recommend, for example, a few points to swamp crocodiles and more, in short, satisfied!"

"We arrived at 2:30 AM and there was somebody to guide us with a check in and how to get to our bedroom.
Our bedroom was impeccable, same as the bathroom.
This hotel has kept the old style and it is a very charming place that is kept really nice.
The room was very comfortable. It also has the old style and it is very cozy and nice.
The bathroom in our room is 100% remodeled and it is now really nice
We stayed for three days and during our stay, we were never bothered by knockings on the door or anything like that. It’s a very nice and quiet place to stay.
We were very happy with the way the room is set up and the way it is decorated, and it is good to mention that the bed was also set up really nice and it is a very comfortable bed
We did not have the chance to eat in the hotel, or to use the bar but everything looked really nice to us. Overall, we were very happy throughout our stay, and we would recommend this place fully. "

GGuest UserI give this hotel 4 stars. My overall experience was really good. The hotel is a 4-5 minute walk to Bourbon St. It's definitely in the heart of the French Quarters. I would have gave 5 stars, but the bathroom door in our hotel room was extremely hard to close. The hotel room itself is small and there are no closets to store your clothes or suitcases.

SShi Luna The hotel is walking distance from the Fremch Quarter with enough distance to not be smack in the hustle and bustle. It's a nice walk to all the historical and tourist stops. The service was good. Generally a good stay and affordable.

GGuest UserThe room is spacious and very clean. Everything you need for cooking is in the kitchen with a plus a large fridge. The hotel staff is amazing, kind and very attentive. The only thing to improve is the breakfast which is repetitive and little decayed. The hotel is very well located in can street with a tram stop 200 m away. I recommend this hotel

BBrian Rose HensleyThe shower did not have enough pressure so it was hard to feel clean/get soap out. Another friend's shower had too much power and sprayed hard in multiple crazy directions. The vanity mirror light did not work in most of the rooms our friends had but it did in ours. And the lighting in the rooms is very minimal so that mirror is necessary. The street was sometimes closed off due to construction so Lyft drivers were easily confused, but sometimes it wasn't. We woke up one morning at 8 am to the sound of a jack hammer right outside the window. It didn't stop that morning but the lady at the front desk did call and make sure it didn't happen again which we very much appreciated. When we checked in, there was a water station in the lobby. It broke and they did not set up another one, but said we would need to go to the main hotel to get water. There were a lot of negatives but the rooms themselves are very large and lofty (as the name suggests). It has a TON of potential but needs better service/management.

GGuest UserThe hotel service was just in average. The desk staff seemed watch their cell-phones frequently instead of paying attention to the hotel lobby entrance and guests. HSKP staff didn’t speak English but tried their best to replenish our supplies needs when we asked for. The fitted bed sheet was not clean with black marks on it on arrival night. The guest room telephone wasn’t working. We had to go to the lobby to report it to the front desk, and showed the dirty sheet pictures to the desk. There wasn’t any apology from the desk staff, and he provided a set of new sheets to us. The hotel also charged service fee / resort fee per night, which was additional to our prepaid reservation. What was the service fee for ? For HSKP service or front desk service ? We had DND entire stay and we didn’t have interaction with the front desk for any special service as they paid attention to their mobile phones, not guests.
The hotel location was a plus.
