"Breakfast had a great variety.
The room was not carpeted and the floor was sticky. Smallest bathroom I have ever had at a holiday inn express"

"Nice stay. We had a queen room at the back of the building, so it was relatively quiet. Not a large room, but spacious enough for my husband and I. The rooms are renovated to update an old motel and they did a good job with the theme of the pink tropical flamingo to lean into that retro esthetic. Shower was nice. Only downside was that the room had a bit of a musty smell. When we arrived the sheets were damp. Not sure of it was high humidity which caused it, but we contacted the support staff and they resolved it promptly, having the on-site housekeeping staff bring new sheets. There is also a dehumidifier in the room, so it does seem like something they are addressing. Was also excited about the coffee machine in the lounge room as other reviews had noted for a quick cup of decent coffee on the go. I was satisfied with the fresh espresso, but my husband was a little disappointed that their machine wasn't making the milk based drinks properly (probably out of milk for the days we were there?) And had to use artificial milk/creamer instead. All and all a 4/5 stars stay."

"The reception was friendly and informative. Housekeeper was nice. She asked if we needed our room refreshed. The location to St George Street wasn't too far of a walk. Just under a mile to cross the St John's River to reach Saint George street."

"I chose it because of price. Out of the way, a little old and worn. But service was good my TV didn’t work but the guy on reception brought a replacement within minutes. Bed beer soft but sheets clean.
Unexpectedly breakfast was included, plastic everything and choice limited but the coffee was great.
Will I go back, I hope not, but if I did it wouldn’t be the worst place I’ve stayed"

"We paid extra for breakfast and they didn’t collect any. Anyone could eat! The the last day one waitress was hit and miss with people coming in and charging some. If she left the front then anyone could help themselves.
The hot tub and the pool was beautiful but freezing cold! No one could use them. And there wasn’t any notice given.
Also the hotel smelled horrible two nights with a strong sulfur odor.
The rooms weren’t fully made up. I got clean towels at 5:00 at night but the room was never remade."

"We stayed at this venue for two nights for our trip to St. Augustine. The hotel was very clean and had been recently updated. The staff at the front desk were extremely friendly and helpful. We immediately felt comfortable there.
On the first day, we went to breakfast at 9:30. There were no egg products available and a couple of bits of sausage. There were NO FORKS!!! We spoke to the person who oversaw the breakfast and she apologized and said there were no forks. I complained to the front desk and they agreed to take the parking charge ($20/day) from our bill. The following day, the breakfast was fully stocked, even forks!
This hotel is a gem. Close to everything. We would definitely stay there again."

"We enjoyed a balcony room and a lovely buffet breakfast each morning . The pool was good and had plenty of sunbeds . It was a relaxing week and we drove to St Augustine or the shopping malls or the lovely beaches nearby . Our favorite was Hammock park beach .
A football team and their parents arrived on the Friday night and unfortunately they were allowed to run riot and up and down in the glass window lifts . They were very noisy and most guests were complaining . This spoiled our stay towards the end .
Also the breakfast buffet was not available every morning and we ordered from a menu which wasn’t extensive in choice .
The hotel is due a refurbishment as rooms are dated ."

"The room provided wasn't 100% ready on our arrival the rooms advertised refrigerator was pulled out from its location with the door left opensitting on top of a towel collecting water that had been leaking for some time. Mint. Did respond quickly to the matter by cleaning up the watery mess and getting the refrigerated back into place. The refrigerator was plugged back in but eventually started to leak during the past 3 days of stay. The room did feel damp as there may have been high humidity present."

"We enjoyed our stay at the Hyatt Place Vilano Beach. It was a close walk to a beautiful, clean beach. We were told the pool wasn’t warm, but turned out it was! We skipped swimming because we weren’t aware until it was too late. The breakfast was great and well stocked. We paid a little extra for a balcony but the view wasn’t good. Don’t waste your money on a balcony. We paid for valet parking which ended up not being necessary. There is plenty of street parking. It was overall a clean hotel and very friendly staff."

Amazing
SSterling SThis hotel was amazing. Has a great view! And was extremely clean. The services was beyond amazing. We plan on returning and will most definitely stay here again.
Xxilu0827Less than 2km from the old town, the beds are super comfy, and there's an additional sofa bed. Breakfast is basic, and parking costs $10 per car. The front desk can book tickets for sightseeing tours, and they even offer discounts. There's a gas station and convenience store nearby, which is quite handy.
GGuest UserIt was our first time staying at the Renaissance Historic Downtown Hotel. As we pulled in, we were Approached by the valet, who was very polite and kind. We walked into the lobby side door in immediately. There was a very pleasant and refreshing smell throughout the hotel. We immediately began to notice the decor which was very unique and impressive. As we approached the front desk to check in, the receptionist who was a young man, was very prompt and polite, and willing to share information about the area. As we went up to our room, we couldn’t help but notice the beautiful decor as well as how clean the environment was. I have been in the commercial cleaning business for over 30 years and pay attention to detail. As we opened our room, we were very impressed once again with how clean the room was and how nice the room was. To sum up this, my wife has put this on her list as her top favorite thus far and we have visited over 12 times. Thank you so much for making my wife’s 58th birthday. We had a wonderful experience
SSergei VoinaТоп подход к людям, начиная от приветственного шампанского до протеиновых батонов в зале. Отель в историческом здании в самом центре. Персонал очень доброжелательный, кровати удобные, всем очень довольны.
EEgglestonThe charming city of St. Augustine was made more charming by my stay here. You’re in walking distance of so many shops, eats, and entertainment. The hotel is as good as it gets for what you pay for.
GGuest Userbeautiful hotel and food was good although we saw two couples leave angry because of more than a 30 minute wait for breakfast. staff present were doing their best but the kitchen staff couldn’t keep up with orders
from my personal viewpoint, my only complaint is the additional $25 per night for parking. it feels like just another way to squeeze the customer
