Hakone Hotels with Pools

Ten-yu is amazing. We were impressed from the moment we stepped into the lobby. The kind staff allowed us an early check-in at 1 p.m. and arranged lounge services for our three-day, two-night stay. While the breakfast buffet was exceptional—an extensive spread paired with bubbles and wine—the Kaiseiki dinner was a bit disappointing in comparison. We were fortunate to experience a picturesque snowfall that transformed the hotel’s surroundings into a postcard-like scene, and since we drove, getting around was never an issue despite the snow. The staff were thoughtful throughout our stay. Highly recommended!

A very old hotel that reveals a rich sense of history, but also has a comfortable modern decoration. It is very comfortable to soak in the hot springs naked, and you can have a perfect night's sleep. The next day I woke up and walked around the mountains. The air was fresh and it felt particularly clean. The hotel's restaurant has Japanese and Western styles to choose from. I ate different flavors in the two days and made a reservation for a kaiseki meal. It was exquisite and delicious. , there is also a 7-11 snack shop not far from the hotel, which is also good. The hotel service is very good. There was a Chinese-speaking lady who specially helped me move my luggage to the second floor (because there is no elevator), which was a little touching!

Nice stay . We booked traditional Japanese room, and slept on futon beds. Pillows were uncomfortable though . Our room fee included dinner and breakfast which was very nice. Dinner was tad too cold for our taste ( too many cold dishes) and breakfast was too “fishy”. Although all food was fresh and the service was impeccable. Hotel also has its own onsen , and pretty Japanese garden .

Little far from train station, but hotel offer free shuttle bus if you request or certain time. From hotel, they offer shuttle bus to go to hakone Yumoto train station. I had problem to book to add children to stay at website. But hotel staffs helped me to fix this issue. We enjoyed staying this hotel.

At the innermost part of Hakone Yumoto Onsen Street, the hotel is located halfway up the mountain. After exiting Hakone Yumoto Station, you must take the A-line hotel shuttle bus in the Yumoto area, which costs 200 yen per person and only accepts cash⑥. See Figure 1 for the shuttle bus schedule. It takes about 15 minutes to walk from the station to the hotel, but there is an uphill road. Pulling your luggage will make your good mood for the Hakone hot spring trip disappear by half. Because the hotel is halfway up the mountain, the A-line hotel shuttle bus does not go up the mountain, so get off at Hotel Okada, then enter the lobby of this hotel and take the elevator to the 8th floor. The 8th floor of this hotel is interconnected with the two hotels of Hakone Mori Okada Hotel and Yunoquan. Follow the signs and walk for 2 minutes. The hotel is open from Monday to Friday, and the price for 2 people, including breakfast, dinner and hot spring, is about 1,200 yuan. Dinner is kaiseki cuisine, and one set of meals per person fills the table, which is quite ceremonial. Breakfast is a buffet, mainly Japanese style. The hotel's hot spring is on the 4th floor of the Tangzhiquan Hotel next door. The water temperature is relatively hot. There are 4 pools outside the men's bath room. There is a bubble massage pool with high air pressure, which has a good massage effect. There is also a free massage chair on the 3rd floor for massage. The hotel is a bit far away, but the price/performance ratio is good.

I had been thinking about the hotel for three years, and finally booked a room three months in advance before the National Day trip. The hotel is rated 5 points because there is no 10-point option. The hotel environment and services completely exceeded expectations, and it was worth the price. I experienced the thoughtfulness and perfection of Japanese service. There are mostly European and American guests in the hotel, and there is no barrier to English communication with the staff. It is a 3-minute walk from Gora Station, and within a 5-minute walk from the hotel, you can reach Gora Park and the Sculpture No Mori Museum of Art. But contact the hotel in advance, and the hotel will thoughtfully arrange a pick-up and drop-off. The hotel environment is impeccable and the design is full of design. It is worthy of being the work of a master, and it looks great every time you take a photo. The kaiseki dinner was just average, not particularly amazing. The only drawback is that the room we stayed in was on the first floor and there was a bit of an unpleasant smell from the shower drain at night.

The dinner and breakfast were great, and the hotel staff were friendly and helpful. At first, we got lost while finding the entrance, but a helpful staff member made an effort to lead us all the way to the reception area. The rooms are big and spacious but a little warmer than expected for my wife. It is just nice for me during autumn. The room we had was in a corner, and it had a great view!
