"Facilities: The hot spring is really good. We went on a Friday, and there were very few people, which made for an excellent experience. The temperature is manually controlled, and staff regularly add hot water. There are also cooler pools, and even a mountain spring pool suitable for children. There are many pools, but since there weren't many people, only a few were open. Environment: The environment is genuinely great. All the buildings are two or three-story detached units, far removed from the towering high-rises of the city. The landscaping is also very nice, and the view from the window is good. We stayed on the second floor, and the natural light was excellent. Contrary to what some online reviews mentioned, there was no sense of being outdated or old. Our stay was very pleasant."

"The room was very clean and spacious, and the owner was super nice and offered thoughtful service. The air was great, not too hot, and we could even swim in the river, which the kids absolutely loved!!! In the morning, we stumbled upon a market and bought some local produce to take home, which was a pleasant surprise!! This place is perfect for a summer getaway, family trips, and for entertaining the little ones. Highly recommend!!"

"Coming down from the snowy mountains was exhausting, so a hot spring soak here in Huashuiwan was absolutely divine. Hoshino Snow Mountain Manor is a very new hotel with fantastic facilities. More importantly, the staff are incredibly warm and welcoming, and soaking in the hot spring was just pure bliss!"

"I've had this B&B saved for a while, and I finally got to stay as I was passing through. The facilities and equipment are quite new, seems like it's only two years old. The overall environment is really good, and the rooms are spacious. The courtyard looks like it's still being maintained, and there's a small cabin that isn't open for business yet. The service was excellent, and the little front desk area is perfect for soaking up the sun. The breakfast was incredibly rich – thumbs up!"

"‼️Most Memorable Aspect: I booked a downstairs room, and the window next to the bathtub opened up directly to the outside, meaning anyone could just walk in. So, I couldn't open the window at night to sleep. Even without the room heating on, it felt incredibly stuffy. I guess I'm just not used to this being from the south. I barely slept all night. I'd recommend southern visitors bring a portable humidifier and a small fan. 🙋🏻♀️Front Desk: The front desk staff were very nice. We arrived at 12:00 PM, and they had a room ready for us, allowing us to check in early so we could drop off our things before heading out to play in the snow 👍🏻. I'd recommend checking the messages the hotel sends via Trip.com in advance and adding the concierge on WeChat for information on visiting the snow mountain. The room itself was a bit dated, but the cleanliness was acceptable. Breakfast was terrible. The room I purchased included VIP fast-track service, but it *did not* include tickets or the cable car. We had to pay an additional $240 per person for tickets and the cable car. However, a dedicated staff member did escort us to the hotel, bypassing the queues. Overall, I spent over 3000 yuan for one night and felt it wasn't worth it. I wouldn't go back. Thankfully, it snowed on our first day, and I got a lot of beautiful photos; otherwise, this night would have been a complete waste!"

"This stay experience exceeded expectations! The front desk upgraded the room type for free, you can soak in the hot springs, the pools are outdoors, and the sulfur tastes very strong. The front desk was warm and professional, and the room was clean and tidy. The back door went out to Xiling Town, the old street is a small street, you can also stroll along the riverside street, very casual and comfortable."

"This hotel was recommended by a friend. On the first day, I thought it was small, but after dinner, when I explored, I realized it's actually quite extensive. The entire hotel is beautifully designed in a traditional Chinese garden style – just look at the pictures! [grin] We stayed in a family room, which was clean and spacious, and even had a small courtyard. The central air conditioning had two vents, which was great for someone like me who doesn't like direct drafts. There were also disinfected Hanfu robes in the room that we could wear for free photos. Breakfast was delivered directly to our room. The hotel offers free fish feeding, free fruit picking, and even has little bunnies and ducks. The staff member was very patient and accompanied us to pick grapes, helping us gather a lot – they were delicious! We're planning to come back when the oranges and pomelos are ripe! The hotel's service is truly excellent. They patiently listen to all suggestions, and the staff's coordination skills are impressive, quickly resolving any issues we raised. We brought our child this time, and they had an absolutely wonderful time!"

"The hotel is located in the heart of Huashuiwan, close to the late-night snack area, where I'd recommend Hong Taiyang BBQ. Unlike summer, some of the hot springs at the hotel are quite warm in winter, which is very pleasant. I hope the hotel enforces its no-smoking policy in the hot springs. The hot spring area itself is lovely, but there's always the off-putting smell of smoke. The hot spring facilities are complete, featuring both dry and wet saunas, but there's no 'kakeyu' (rinse station) for washing off after using them. This means whether you return to the hot springs with sweat after a sauna is entirely up to individual discretion. This isn't really a drawback, as most hot springs in China don't have such rinsing facilities. If you're traveling solo and don't have a car, you can wait for the shuttle bus to go to Xueshan or back to Dayi County."

Environment: Located in a villa area on the mountainside, the air is fresh and quiet. However, there are no restaurants nearby; you need to drive to town to eat. Service: Excellent. The owner is very welcoming and constantly inquired about our needs. Any problems we had were resolved immediately. The hot springs are also fantastic; each room has its own private sulfur hot spring bath, which we could soak in anytime."
