"Surprisingly Great Stay! Unique and Comfortable I really enjoyed my stay at the Saintlo Ottawa Jail Hostel. The room was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described. The atmosphere is unique and definitely something you don’t experience at a regular hotel — in a good way! The staff were friendly, the place felt safe, and the location was convenient for getting around Ottawa. Overall, it was a great stay and I would happily come back again. Highly recommend"

"I've visited the Business Inn several times now, and I keep coming back due to the friendly customer service, the comprehensive breakfast buffet, the competitive pricing and its convenient location to where I want to be in downtown Ottawa. The rooms are older and maybe not as fancy or contemporary as a Four Seasons or Hilton property, but if you're looking for a family friendly and safe budget-minded place that does its best to provide a great experience, then this is the one."

"We came early before our check-in time and got accommodated for an early check-in (without paying extra!) We just got lucky because there was an available room. Additionally, we were in awe with the hotel’s interior design alongside the conveniency of its location to tourist destinations that are a walking distance to the hotel. Nice architectural structures everywhere you go! 👍"

"This is a great hotel, conveniently located right by Parliament Hill, which is the main attraction in Ottawa along with its surroundings. So, after checking in, you can easily explore the area on foot. Plus, it's very close to Chinatown, making dining options readily available. The hotel rooms are spacious and well-appointed with standard amenities. The only drawback is that parking comes with a fee."

"Generally speaking, the location of the Youth Hostel is very good. Ottawa is not very concentrated, the highlight is to catch up with the Queen's funeral service. There are too many Ottawa homeless, and the Youth Hostel is lined up. The Youth Hostel is very clean, and the younger brother is hygienic. I am also the first time I am mixed with men and women. It is good to sit in a hard sleep. Every day, bed in the morning, wake up late and late, basically no embarrassment. Impressed was the rainy day after visiting the National Gallery and sitting in the cafe drinking coffee. The years were quiet, and the domestic chickens and dogs jumped, thinking when they would return to normal, couldn't help but cry."

"Staff was friendly and parking is included in your stay. The room was clean and spacious. Our particular room had an extra sink next to the bed which was a little bizarre but we didn't mind. The continental breakfast had plenty of options including a waffle maker, bread, multiple types of juice, coffee, meat, and eggs. There were yogurts and cheese available in a small fridge too. I would consider staying here again considering how close it is to the mall and the highway that allows for easy travel around the city."

"The room presents a modern design with a pleasant ambiance, and overall, it is very clean and comfortable. As expected of a 4-star hotel standard that should be met. However, I would like to highlight a couple of areas where practicality could be improved: • Study Table Placement: The study/work desk is positioned directly beneath the wall-mounted TV. This setup is not practical, as it places the guest in a position where they are working directly in front of a screen that may be distracting. It would be more functional to have the desk in a location that supports focus and productivity without unnecessary interference. • Coffee Cup and Saucer Mismatch: The coffee cup provided has a round base, while the saucer has a square design that does not accommodate the cup securely. This mismatch not only affects usability but also detracts from the overall attention to detail expected at this level of hospitality. • Bathroom Dustbin Design: The dustbin in the bathroom does not have a foot pedal for hands-free operation. Guests are required to bend down and lift the lid manually, which is inconvenient and unhygienic. A foot-pedal bin would be a more user-friendly option. • Lack of Proper Kettle for Tea Drinkers: As tea drinkers, we found it inconvenient to boil water using the coffee machine. The water has a noticeable coffee taste and smell, which affects the flavor of the tea. A small electric kettle in each room would be a simple but impactful addition to cater to all beverage preferences. "Excellent location and very clean rooms. Reasonable price in Ottawa. The only downside was that the beds were not too comfortable but its acceptable if you are not too picky."

"We enjoyed our stay here! Room is spacious and toilet is very clean!! There’s a bus station nearby so no worries if you are not driving. Complimentary breakfast , coffee and tea is also available there!"

"My mom and I stayed here, and the hotel's location right next to the train station was incredibly convenient. The room was clean, tidy, and comfortable – really good! Breakfast was a typical American style; though the selection wasn't huge, it was healthy and nutritious. Definitely recommend this hotel."
