"We had 2 fire alarms in 2 days, nobody told us when we’ve made the reservation. Fiest time ppl we’re afraid , we had to go outside… NO STAFF explain nothing to us for too much time. I asked at the front desk and the woman there just ignore me. The other woman that was there didnt either explain I had to asked what’s going on is it a practice or not ? Ppl were actually afraid… She told yeah in the most nonchalant way. Also when we arrived, there was still hair and stuff in the bathroom that I had to remove. Ive check in early I must say but they told it was ok that the room was ready. Clearly it was not 100% clean. Breakfast is very VERY basic. I had to told front desk that coffee was empty… Plus, the first guy that welcome me at the front desk was not sympathetic. If you have the budget to go elsewhere just do it."

"Counter service was a bit meh, but take it as entrance fee to a really great room. Room was more like apartment - living and dining area, kitchen, bedroom and even a laundry and dryer room. Location was also convenient, just behind the mall and morning market area and if you are up to it, you could take a walk to the Parliament hill and its surrounding area as well."

"Ottawa is very small, the hotel location is very convenient, also in the core area, about 20 minutes to the subway station. I saw that everyone commented that the facilities were old and I didn't think it was in the way. When I checked in, the swimming pool could not be used. The indoor one did not say that the reason was repaired. Second, the deposit pre-authorization requires 200 knives, the sound of the air conditioner in the room rumbling, quickly call the front desk to see, the little brother said that there is no way that it may be broken, and then whispered to me, or I asked the front desk if I could change a room. Dreams came, called the front desk, the front desk said to go upstairs to the same room type and wait for someone to send the key to change the room. Well, after waiting for 15 minutes, no one came, just take the floor phone to the front desk, and then the front desk said to wait for them to urge them, and then Shi sinks the sea and waits for 15 minutes. Well, go downstairs and ask the front desk, the one at the front desk, said in vain that she didn't receive the call, didn't say to change the room, said that the air conditioner was normal! She answered the phone, can the hotel phone call be elsewhere, originally it is not necessary to change, must waste customer time... This service attitude is a bit too greasy!"

"I've stayed at this hotel several times now; I enjoy how clean, quiet, and nicely decorated the suites and the hotel itself are! The bathrooms are beautiful, very clean, and well-appointed, as are the rooms themselves. Very pleased and will stay here again when my travels take me through this area once more."

"Very satisfied with the facilities and services of the hotel. In the morning, you can make homemade waffles. It is the best choice for self-driving friends. There are also free ice machines, coffee, refrigerators and microwaves. Refrigerated in the refrigerator, very convenient, highly recommended!"

However, I would like to highlight a couple of areas where practicality could be improved: • Study Table Placement: The study/work desk is positioned directly beneath the wall-mounted TV. This setup is not practical, as it places the guest in a position where they are working directly in front of a screen that may be distracting. It would be more functional to have the desk in a location that supports focus and productivity without unnecessary interference. • Coffee Cup and Saucer Mismatch: The coffee cup provided has a round base, while the saucer has a square design that does not accommodate the cup securely. This mismatch not only affects usability but also detracts from the overall attention to detail expected at this level of hospitality. • Bathroom Dustbin Design: The dustbin in the bathroom does not have a foot pedal for hands-free operation. Guests are required to bend down and lift the lid manually, which is inconvenient and unhygienic. A foot-pedal bin would be a more user-friendly option. • Lack of Proper Kettle for Tea Drinkers: As tea drinkers, we found it inconvenient to boil water using the coffee machine. The water has a noticeable coffee taste and smell, which affects the flavor of the tea. A small electric kettle in each room would be a simple but impactful addition to cater to all beverage preferences. "I checked in on a Monday. The hotel is clean and quite. Front desk staff are very friendly. With a swimming pool which opens until 10:30pm. Also provide continental breakfast. There is a small fridge, coffee maker and a microwave inside the room but surprisingly without providing a kettle. Still you can get hot water easily from the restaurant. Location is good and very close to a shopping centre/outlet. Would recommend it."

"Room cleanliness and air conditioning were good. Beds were comfy. Breakfast was simple but good in quality. However the breakfast queue was long and food replenishment was not done in pace with the flow, ended up in a long queue not moving as people stayed in the front of the queue stayed in the queue waiting for replenishment. The dinning space was insufficient that could not accommodate the big crowd. We ran into issue setting up the sofa bed. Calling the front desk asking for assistance we were stunned by a reply saying they would not send staff to help but urging us to try for another attempts and kept reassuring us the sofa bed operation was simple and easy. Finally we got that sorted out with help from other hotel customers.. A major disappointment that totally ruined my experience with the hotel was the way my enquiry was handled towards an unknown charge after I checked out. In the check out bill, it was just a charge billed to my credit card without indicating what service or item I was billed for. While my family did not order or buy anything at all from the hotel and we were in a rush, I did not check the bill upon check out until 5 days later I saw it in my credit card account. I sent an email to the hotel reservation (that was the only email channel I found from the hotel home page) to enquire about the charge and no reply was received ever towards my enquiry and that's what I was hit. Although the unknown charge was refunded after another week, I did not feel good with the way they work. I frankly accept mistakes made by the front desk or the account team for incorrect bill, but I do not accept ignorance and zero communication from the backend on my enquiry. This is something the hotel should improve."
