"The hotel is newly opened, and the first stay experience is really good. The room is not big but very cozy, enough for one person to live in, and has all the necessary facilities. What else do you need for this price? The service of the guy at the front desk was very good. He sent me tissues and hangers to the room. It is very convenient to eat nearby. I also went to Yongning Square. There is a grilled cold noodles restaurant that is particularly delicious. I will choose to stay here when I come to Guilin in the future."

"The hotel is relatively new and in good health condition. The first day I called and made an appointment to pick up the car at the high-speed rail station. I checked again before getting off the high-speed train the next day and found that no car appointment was arranged. Fortunately, I confirmed again in advance and made a temporary car appointment. If I got off the train and called again, it would delay my time."

"It is across the road from Guilin West Station, a little further up the road. This is supposed to be a suburb. I didn't feel anything when I checked in during the day, but when I went out and came back in a taxi at night, it was pitch black everywhere, with no people and no shops, which was quite scary. I chose a room close to the high-speed rail station because I had to catch a train early in the morning. But the room was unexpected. We booked a parent-child room, which was very large, with good decoration and bedding. The facilities are a little old, and the bathroom has a dry and wet separation. There are only 2-3 such village homestays nearby, and this room should be the best. There is a farm restaurant in the village next to it. We had dinner at Pan's Restaurant in the city. The restaurant is very old and the environment is very average, but the taste is like those old restaurants. The Pipa Duck and Plum Spare Ribs we ordered are not bad, and the blanched cuttlefish is just average. The four dishes for three people cost less than 200 yuan."

"I stayed in two rooms, both were good overall
There is a balcony on the first floor, which is convenient for viewing and has a bathroom
There is a bath on the second floor, but the bathroom and toilet are very small
The hotel restaurant is good and the ingredients are very good
There is only one laundry room and you have to wait in line for a long time to wash clothes.
I recommend this room type to those who like duplexes. I prefer ordinary river view rooms with refrigerators, large bathrooms and toilets. It is not convenient to climb a duplex with a child."

"I happened to visit Guilin during the rainy season, so I barely went out and spent almost the entire day at the hotel. On the day I checked in, I arrived quite early, and since they had rooms available, they allowed me to check in ahead of time, which was very thoughtful. The service and reception throughout my stay felt very natural; they weren't constantly trying to upsell me on things. Since I spent most of my time in the hotel room, I got to explore all its features. Even though my room wasn't on a very high floor, the air conditioning worked perfectly, and the cleanliness was impeccable. I *stumbled upon a chicken pot restaurant*, and as soon as the rain let up, I went out to try it. And with that, my trip to Guilin came to an abrupt end."

"I've come to Guilin often over the years, but had not heard of Dongli Ancient village. This hotel was the perfect place to stay within this excellent ancient village site. Our room was on the 2nd floor with a huge balcony that was next to and overlooked the river and its covered bridge. The room was in an ancient building but very up to date inside, with a modern bath with both a shower and bathtub. The room, as all of the village, was very clean, spacious and had a comfortable bed. The heater/air conditioning worked well. The service through out the village was excellent, though restaurant selection was limited."

YYousri GhoufraneI had the absolute pleasure of staying at this incredible hotel for two nights, and I can truly say it was an unforgettable experience. The owners—a fantastic and lovely couple—made me feel more like a welcomed guest in their home than just a visitor at a hotel. The hotel itself is like a small palace, full of charm and character, and even features its own museum, which adds a unique and fascinating touch.
Every single moment spent here was pure joy. The ambience is simply magical—peaceful, elegant, and full of history. The staff went above and beyond to make my stay comfortable and special, treating me with genuine kindness and care. The entire place was impeccably clean, and it’s clear that a lot of love and attention goes into maintaining this gem.
This is not the kind of hotel you come across every day. It’s truly one of a kind, and I feel so lucky to have discovered it. I can’t recommend it highly enough and I’ll definitely be coming back

GGuest UserI spent a long time searching on Ctrip before, and I saw this Shiyu Smart Hotel with its fresh-looking pictures and knowing it was newly renovated, well-decorated, and highly rated. So I navigated here. The lobby was very clean and bright, looking quite upscale. I actually booked after arriving at the hotel. I've had experiences before where I booked online and then the actual place was totally different, so I usually check out a place in person before booking. As soon as I walked into the lobby, I knew it was a good choice. My stay experience was genuinely excellent, definitely worth praising! It's just a few minutes' walk from the North Station. The room also had a faint, pleasant scent. It features voice AI control and a projector, making it very smart. The bed and floor in the room were spotless and very tidy. It looked incredibly comfortable. The bedding was also great, and the mattress was very comfortable. The soundproofing was excellent too. The hotel staff were very warm and helpful. My stay exceeded my expectations; at this price point, it's incredibly good value. It truly feels like a star-rated experience. Staying in a hotel like this for this price is just too good, an amazing deal. It was extremely clean and tidy. When I come back to Guilin for Chinese New Year, I'll definitely stay here again.

AaimeswongOpened only a year ago, this hotel looks exactly how the photos are on trip.com. Location is super close (5 minutes) walk to Guilinbei station. So very convenient if you are traveling on high speed rail or even if you want to catch a cheap bus no.100 (30 minutes) which gets you to the touristy center area of Guilin. Didi there only around RMB 15 rmb if you don't like buses!
Room is super clean and has all you need for a comfortable stay. I actually only stayed 1 night. In future if I visit Guilin I'll rather stay and book this hotel than to stay in the Guilin center which is double the price and much much older hotels! Friendly and helpful owner too which makes the stay even more memorable. Highly recommend!
Note: fast wifi and free laundry area up the roof.

GGuest UserI was blown away the moment I stepped into the room. The decor was exactly to my liking—fresh and cozy—and every detail showed the host's attention to detail. The room was spotless, the bedding was soft and clean, and the amenities were comprehensive, including high-quality toiletries in the bathroom. The location is convenient, and it's incredibly quiet at night; even I, with my poor sleep quality, slept exceptionally well. This stay was a perfect experience, and I highly recommend it. I'll definitely choose this place again next time!

GGuest UserThe guesthouse is located next to Daxu Ancient Town, just a two- or three-minute walk from the town and pier. You can see ancient buildings from the windows; the Li River flows by, and the decor is antique and elegant. The owner is warm and welcoming, making it highly recommended. However, the lively chatter of geese and roosters behind the guesthouse, along with the morning crowing of a rooster, adds a unique touch. The last two pictures show the specialty tofu that the owner of the small tavern opposite the guesthouse highly recommends.

HHaohaohuijia～This hotel is the most satisfactory hotel I stayed in during my trip to Guilin. The rooms are large, the facilities are new, and the stay is very comfortable. There is also a large balcony to dry clothes, and it is also close to the ancient town. I highly recommend it!

AAnonymous UserThe hotel rooms are a good size and don't feel cramped. I stayed at this B&B for four days and explored Guilin and its surrounding attractions. The young hostess was cheerful and lovely, and even treated me to some tangerines. However, I'd appreciate it if I could fix the TV in the room, as it would be a bit boring for guests back home without a TV.

GGuest UserAlthough the location is marked as Lingchuan County, it's about a 10-minute walk from Guilin North Railway Station and about a 30-minute bus ride from Guilin West Railway Station. Getting to Guilin's old city is also very convenient; there are buses running frequently right outside the building. However, since it's not in Guilin City, you'll need to walk a short distance to use an electric scooter.
Upon check-in, be sure to add the security guard on WeChat for easier communication and to get the key card for the elevator. Although I stayed in a six-person room, I was the only guest during the off-season, so the male and female bathrooms were separate. The hot water in the female room is electric, not 24-hour. There's a kitchen for simple meals, but no refrigerator. The security guard downstairs was very friendly and even kindly helped me check in when I was lost. You need to bring your own toiletries, but there's a small vending machine where you can buy them at similar prices to outside.

We arrived quite late in the evening (around 10:00 p.m.), the hosts were waiting for us. The room provided to us was very spacious, with two large beds, the shower was also large. We did not need anything. But the cleanliness of the room was not ideal.
