"It is across the road from Guilin West Station, a little further up the road. This is supposed to be a suburb. I didn't feel anything when I checked in during the day, but when I went out and came back in a taxi at night, it was pitch black everywhere, with no people and no shops, which was quite scary. I chose a room close to the high-speed rail station because I had to catch a train early in the morning. But the room was unexpected. We booked a parent-child room, which was very large, with good decoration and bedding. The facilities are a little old, and the bathroom has a dry and wet separation. There are only 2-3 such village homestays nearby, and this room should be the best. There is a farm restaurant in the village next to it. We had dinner at Pan's Restaurant in the city. The restaurant is very old and the environment is very average, but the taste is like those old restaurants. The Pipa Duck and Plum Spare Ribs we ordered are not bad, and the blanched cuttlefish is just average. The four dishes for three people cost less than 200 yuan."

" The experience of coming to Guilin to play in this hotel really exceeded my expectations! It feels like a newly opened store, and everything is quite new. There is really nothing to say about hygiene. The house is clean and comfortable. The quilt pillow on the bed is soft and poncho, it is particularly comfortable to lie on, and the sleeping experience is directly full. The room is also equipped with a smart toilet, which I really like. And all rooms in his house have windows, don't worry about living in a dark windowless room, the room space is quite large, living alone is open and bright, not crowded at all. Life is also particularly easy. Ordering takeaways can be delivered directly to the door of the room, without running downstairs to get it, lazy people are ecstatic. It is also very convenient to take a taxi at the entrance of the hotel, and it is easy to go anywhere. I have run so many places in Guilin and have lived in many stores. "This guesthouse is quite new, and the room was exceptionally spacious. Although there's no elevator, the owner arranged for us to have the largest room on the ground floor, which had two king-sized beds, so we slept very comfortably. There are quite a few guesthouses nearby. The next day, the owner personally drove us to the high-speed train station in her tuk-tuk, free of charge. All in all, this is a highly recommended guesthouse, and I'd definitely stay here again if I'm ever back in the area."

"I stayed in two rooms, both were good overall
There is a balcony on the first floor, which is convenient for viewing and has a bathroom
There is a bath on the second floor, but the bathroom and toilet are very small
The hotel restaurant is good and the ingredients are very good
There is only one laundry room and you have to wait in line for a long time to wash clothes.
I recommend this room type to those who like duplexes. I prefer ordinary river view rooms with refrigerators, large bathrooms and toilets. It is not convenient to climb a duplex with a child."

"The hotel is relatively new and in good health condition. The first day I called and made an appointment to pick up the car at the high-speed rail station. I checked again before getting off the high-speed train the next day and found that no car appointment was arranged. Fortunately, I confirmed again in advance and made a temporary car appointment. If I got off the train and called again, it would delay my time."

I had the absolute pleasure of staying at this incredible hotel for two nights, and I can truly say it was an unforgettable experience. The owners—a fantastic and lovely couple—made me feel more like a welcomed guest in their home than just a visitor at a hotel. The hotel itself is like a small palace, full of charm and character, and even features its own museum, which adds a unique and fascinating touch.
Every single moment spent here was pure joy. The ambience is simply magical—peaceful, elegant, and full of history. The staff went above and beyond to make my stay comfortable and special, treating me with genuine kindness and care. The entire place was impeccably clean, and it’s clear that a lot of love and attention goes into maintaining this gem.
This is not the kind of hotel you come across every day. It’s truly one of a kind, and I feel so lucky to have discovered it. I can’t recommend it highly enough and I’ll definitely be coming back

I spent a long time searching on Ctrip before, and I saw this Shiyu Smart Hotel with its fresh-looking pictures and knowing it was newly renovated, well-decorated, and highly rated. So I navigated here. The lobby was very clean and bright, looking quite upscale. I actually booked after arriving at the hotel. I've had experiences before where I booked online and then the actual place was totally different, so I usually check out a place in person before booking. As soon as I walked into the lobby, I knew it was a good choice. My stay experience was genuinely excellent, definitely worth praising! It's just a few minutes' walk from the North Station. The room also had a faint, pleasant scent. It features voice AI control and a projector, making it very smart. The bed and floor in the room were spotless and very tidy. It looked incredibly comfortable. The bedding was also great, and the mattress was very comfortable. The soundproofing was excellent too. The hotel staff were very warm and helpful. My stay exceeded my expectations; at this price point, it's incredibly good value. It truly feels like a star-rated experience. Staying in a hotel like this for this price is just too good, an amazing deal. It was extremely clean and tidy. When I come back to Guilin for Chinese New Year, I'll definitely stay here again.

The room has a lot of character, and the padlock on the door gives it a very retro feel. The housekeeper was very attentive, giving us a tour of the ancient village and offering explanations, and was also very enthusiastic, even helping us with our luggage. The village is very quiet during the off-season, perfect for relaxing and unwinding. It really helps you slow down, and if you have the time, staying here for a few days would be incredibly comfortable and relaxing. There are also many special activities for children to experience, and in the summer, you can even play in the water. Every spot is perfect for photos, and the villagers are very nice too.

This hotel gives us the feeling of a paradise🤩Quiet, cozy, and especially relaxing😊I didn't expect that such a treasure hotel is hidden in this small village🤩I like the design and decoration of the room very much, the bedding is super comfortable, and the breakfast is simple but very fresh, all homemade eggs, sweet potatoes, and fresh meat rice noodles, which are especially fragrant😍We stayed for three nights in a row and were still not satisfied. Crossing the bridge to Maozhou Island Pier and taking a boat to Dayu Ancient Town is also a very special travel experience. It was a great accommodation experience for the first time👍The fairy who served the homestay was very nice and answered all the questions. Special thanks❤️

This hotel is very strange. The name sounds high-sounding, but it is strange that there are only two pairs of plastic slippers. I asked the front desk if they have disposable slippers? The answer is no. This is a minus! The rest is OK. The price is cheap and it is ok to live in. There is a vegetable market and many noodle shops nearby, so it is quite convenient to eat.

This is a very nice guesthouse with complete facilities and cleanliness. It's a little far from Guilin North Station, but it's a 10-minute walk away. It's quieter off the street, and convenient for dining and shopping downstairs. The food is good and affordable. The hostess was very friendly and helpful to us tourists. Highly recommended!

The owner was very welcoming, the rooms were clean, and there was free parking in the open space opposite the guesthouse. The mattress was a bit hard and not warm enough; even with the air conditioning on, the room was warm, but the mattress was still cold. The air conditioner was also noisy, and the street-facing location made it a bit quiet. I didn't sleep well all night.
