"During the off-season, the hotel was incredibly quiet, I barely saw anyone all day. The hotel is small but beautiful, with lovely greenery and aesthetically pleasing decor. While it's clear the hotel has been around for a while and some areas are showing their age, for the off-season price, it's still unbeatable value for money.
Overall it was great, but there are a few areas that could be improved:
1. The public restrooms. It's excellent that they provide hand towels after washing your hands, but the lighting is dim, and the labels on the hand soap and lotion bottles next to the sink are very hard to read; you have to get very close to see them.
2. The pool. They could definitely provide towels by the pool.
3. The food. This was quite disappointing. Breakfast wasn't particularly outstanding (especially the dessert section), and the complimentary afternoon tea was truly awful. You could tell immediately it was frozen instant food that had just been taken out and not fully thawed – everything was soft and mushy on the outside but hard on the inside. Also, I don't think the hotel's fruit selection was good; it was all bland and tasteless, which I think is unacceptable.
Despite these points, let me highlight the biggest positive: the service. The hotel's service rivals that of some luxury hotels. Staff always smiled and greeted guests, responded very quickly to requests, and the shuttle service was available on demand. There was also turn-down service, with rooms cleaned twice daily, morning and evening, and even guests' clothes neatly arranged.
Another plus is that the hotel's back entrance is close to the botanical garden, which is perfect for those who want to visit at night or early in the morning to avoid crowds. It's also ideal for spending one day near the Wangtianshu Scenic Area and then just relaxing at the hotel for the rest of the time. I had a wonderful weekend here."

"The Xishuangbanna Tropical Botanical Garden (XTBG) of the Chinese Academy of Sciences is about 50 kilometers from Jinghong city. Its East and West sections are quite large, and a full day isn't enough to explore everything. I'd read stories about botanists from the Academy before, so I made the botanical garden a priority and decided to stay at a hotel within it. The room rate I booked online included entrance tickets, which made it a pretty good deal for two people. After our rental car arrived at the East Gate, I called the hotel front desk, and they allowed us to enter. On the afternoon of our arrival, we explored the larger East Section's rainforest, which offered a stunning view of various rainforest vegetation. The hotel's restaurant was quite good; the local dishes at dinner were authentic, and I even saw family gatherings of XTBG staff – quite a change from how their predecessors lived! The next morning, we hired a guide and toured the different areas of the West Section. All in all, choosing to stay at the botanical garden hotel made this trip incredibly rewarding.
Facilities: The in-room facilities met our needs, and the small balcony offered views of the flora and fauna.
Hygiene: Clean and tidy.
Environment: The botanical garden environment is unique and relaxing.
Service: The front desk and restaurant service were excellent, and the breakfast offered a good variety, including local specialty snacks."

You can walk right out of the hotel to the Manlong Village market, and just a bit further, there's a huge dragon fruit field. The breakfast felt outsourced; not much variety and pretty standard. There aren't many dining options nearby. If you're coming for Wangtianshu Scenic Area and rafting, I'd recommend staying here. The cleanliness is acceptable, and the front desk staff are quite friendly and helpful!"

There's a food street diagonally opposite, and it's a five-minute drive to the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences Botanical Garden. The entire room features North American imported oak furniture with no unpleasant odors. Breakfast is reasonably priced and quite comprehensive, offering fried dough sticks, steamed dumplings, red bean buns, corn, sweet potatoes, boiled eggs, fried eggs, stir-fried vegetables, various porridges, fruits, milk, soy milk, coffee, and coconut milk. The special dishes are rice noodles and wontons. The staff are warm and welcoming, and parking is convenient."

"Conveniently situated right by the side gate of the Botanical Garden, this place offers incredible value. At just 99 yuan a night, it's an absolute steal! The owner is wonderfully kind; she even took me to see eagle owls and brown swifts. I'd love to visit again given the chance. I really hope the owners publish a bird-watching guide for Xishuangbanna."

"It is undoubtedly the best hotel in Mengla. It is worth mentioning that among so many hotels in the world, this is also the hotel with the best service and the most popular service. Manager Zhang of the hotel contacted me a week in advance and added WeChat, saying that he could provide a series of services and help. He knows every plant and tree in the rainforest, which greatly enhanced our understanding of the rainforest for us kids who had never seen a tropical rainforest before.

I was too busy a few days ago and didn't have time to give a good review. I originally booked the one next to them, but when I arrived I found this store. I casually looked at the lobby at the door and decisively chose this one. Fortunately, I was not disappointed. Their hygiene is very clean, and the supplies they provide are of high quality. Even the paper is heart-to-heart. Generally, only star-rated hotels will control these details. It is really good and cost-effective. I will stay in this store often in the future

Guest UserThe hotel is located in Nanla New District, very close to Mengla County. It is very convenient to drive. The parking downstairs of the hotel is particularly convenient and safe. Newly opened, all solid wood decoration is tasteless. The bathroom with separate wet and dry areas is very good and the toiletries are of high quality. The front desk service is warm and patient, with a very good attitude. The breakfast is also very good, with a variety of styles and fruits. The elevator is convenient and fast to go up and downstairs. Highly recommended to stay!

Guest UserThis stay experience is really full 💯! The room is clean and tidy, and the simple and warm style makes people feel relaxed as soon as they enter the door. The two beds are spacious and comfortable, with bright lighting, and the whole person is refreshed after waking up.
The configuration of the public area is also very intimate. The washing and drying machine in the laundry room solves the trouble of travel laundry. The tea area also has a variety of tea and health ingredients. It is pleasant and warm to cook a pot of hot tea in the morning.

Although the hotel I stayed at this time did not include breakfast, the overall experience was very good, and the price in the early 100s completely exceeded my expectations.
First of all, the location is excellent. The hotel is right next to the government center and it takes only 8 minutes to walk to the subway station. It is super convenient to go to the attractions and business districts. There are also many places to eat around, convenience stores, breakfast shops, various restaurants are all available, completely making up for the inconvenience of no restaurant, but choosing more diverse.
Secondly, the room was clean and tidy. This is my most important point. Although the room is not big, the layout is reasonable, the bedding is clean and comfortable, and there is no smell. The bathroom was cleaned thoroughly, the wet and dry separation was done well, and the toiletries were complete. The sound insulation effect is much better than I expected, it is quiet at night, and the quality of sleep is very high.
Finally, the service is thoughtful. The front desk staff was very welcoming and the check-in and check-out were very fast. I needed to print things temporarily, and the front desk was very happy to help solve them. There were any problems during the stay and the response was very timely.
Overall, this is a very cost-effective hotel. If you value the location, clean and convenient, and don't rely on the dining in the hotel, then this is definitely a very good choice. I will definitely stay here next time I come to this city!

The hotel's location is excellent; it's less than 2km from the botanical garden, which is super convenient. Plus, there are plenty of dining options nearby, so you definitely won't go hungry. The front desk staff were incredibly warm and accommodating. Highly recommended! The photos are of the botanical garden. I don't usually take pictures of hotel facilities; just doing this for the points, haha!

Though an old hotel with a squat toilet, this hotel provides excellent value for its price due to its warm service and convenient location near the train station. They provide free pick up and drop off service to and from the train station; the boss was also kind enough to take us to and pick us up from the Lao border for 40 yuan each way. Despite facing the road and hearing the morning roosters, the air-conditioning and strong water pressure made the room adequate for our needs.

According to county situation, hotel 🏨 is fine with all facilities. Hotel architecture is little bit old but it’s not bad. Rooms are clean. Location is perfect if you want to enter in Tropical botanical garden or CAS research institute from west door only need 1 minute walk on suspension bridge 🌁 and direct entrance of tropical botanical garden ( A must view scenic place very peaceful and beautiful garden. There is also a coffee , bars and massage centers as well as shops and markets. I will give 70/100 rating points to this hotel from all prospective.

Bringing my son to play in the Yuanyuan Wonderland, I chose a hotel for a long time, and I felt that the hotel was in the scenic spot, so I chose this one. Throughout the process, the hotel's service is thoughtful and welcoming. The battery car will pick up and drop off at the visitor center. The room is relatively large. There is a large green rice field behind it. There is a small river next to it. The lawn is behind it, and the front and back are unobstructed. The rest is very quiet at night and the air is fresh. Breakfast was eaten at Huajianyuan Hotel and it was very rich. Very satisfied!
