"This was the second hotel we stayed at on our birdwatching trip in Menglun. It was originally a backup plan because we booked the Wanglian Hotel late, but after staying there, we found it to be a hidden gem. The hotel is about a 10-minute walk from the west gate of the botanical garden and the suspension bridge, which is very convenient. We walked there from the botanical garden. Upon arriving at the hotel, we were immediately greeted by warm service. The landlady was incredibly welcoming, and there were complimentary candies, snacks, and fruits for guests to enjoy while they waited – a very thoughtful touch. After check-in, you can add the service WeChat account to let them know the breakfast time and location, nearby restaurants, and the Wi-Fi password. The service response time is also very fast; my room had a problem with the TV's internet connection, and it was resolved within 10 minutes. I think that's impressive for the town. The hotel facilities are relatively new, with a mahogany interior and ethnic style. The facilities are quite complete, and surprisingly, it even has a small gym – great! It's nice to get some exercise after a long day. The breakfast selection isn't extensive, but it's sufficient. If you don't want to eat breakfast there, there are many snack shops and night markets nearby. For example, there are many Dai-style restaurants in the village within a 500-meter walk of the hotel, offering authentic local flavors that are worth trying. The hotel has a relatively large parking lot, making it convenient for tourists arriving by car. A small gift is given upon check-out, which is also a nice touch. Overall, we stayed here for two nights, and our biggest impression was how incredibly welcoming the owner was. We were always ready to chat and provided a lot of information. If you're not particularly keen on the botanical garden night tour, this is a very good value accommodation in Menglun."

"The hotel's location right next to the botanical garden was super convenient for both evening and daytime visits with our child. Even though the facilities are a bit dated, the service and cleanliness were exceptional. Every staff member was so welcoming and enthusiastic. We had dinner at the hotel three times, and both the Chinese and Western dishes were delicious. The set menus were great value for money, and the 'Peacock Feast' was incredibly generous! The hotel also offered daily lantern-floating activities, and there were plenty of engaging activities for kids. On top of that, the complimentary travel photoshoot was fantastic! We got some amazing shots right on the hotel grounds. The makeup artist, photographer, and photo selector were all very professional, and the package price was reasonable, leaving us with wonderful memories from our trip. I have to especially commend the hotel's SPA! It was so incredibly relaxing, it felt like I was back in Thailand for a second! The therapists had expert techniques, and the products are supposedly made with ingredients imported from Thailand. I even bought some facial products after my session – a truly unforgettable experience! The riverside infinity pool is another highlight of the hotel, and our child absolutely loved it!"

"I found this hotel by accident. It just opened not long ago. All the facilities are very new. The rooms are spacious and bright. The hygiene is very clean. The voice intelligent control is very convenient. The guy at the front desk is polite and friendly. It is a hotel beyond my expectations. It is very good! "The owners are incredibly friendly. The owner is a professional bird photographer, and the clientele here is quite specific, mostly focused on bird photography or painting. Every evening, he'd sit at the guesthouse entrance, sharing the day's photographic captures with guests. And the moment he'd hear a bird call, he'd grab a flashlight and enthusiastically lead us out to find nocturnal owls! 😇😇😇 The location is superb! It felt like we were practically staying *in* the botanical garden; incredibly convenient, like having it as our own backyard! Excellent value for money, I highly recommend this place! 🤓"

"Lovely hotel between the border police and the railway station. We stayed just one night. The people working at the hotel are highly dedicated and service minded. If you do not speak Chinese you should install a translator app so you can communicate with the reception. They arranged a transfer for us for the railway station. "This was the first hotel we stayed at after arriving in Xishuangbanna. The environment was very quiet and the greenery was beautiful. It's a pity we arrived late at night and had to leave the next morning; my family said we should have come earlier to visit the local markets, see the Buddhist temples, and go rafting. There were some small flying insects in the wooden villas, but in a tropical rainforest area near a river, I think it's quite normal and acceptable. If you can't accept this, I suggest not coming to Mengla; this place is all about returning to nature. So I don't quite understand people who give negative reviews about small flying insects; these insects fly in the air, they're not crawling on the bed. The hotel breakfast included local specialty rice noodles, which were delicious."

"The room environment is great, the twin room has a small balcony, and there's also a pool with a lovely view. Breakfast is very rich, with a good variety of 'Western' style food, and the rice noodles are fragrant and delicious. The restaurant staff are very friendly and enthusiastic. The hygiene is clean and tidy, and the room service is prompt. I'd suggest more training for the front desk staff; it takes a long time to get information from them, and their answers often beat around the bush and miss the main point, making communication a bit difficult. The shuttle service is very convenient; a quick phone call in advance and they'll pick you up promptly."

"This time I went out to play with my friends and I was really satisfied with my stay! It is very convenient to drive by car. Even if there is free parking, there are charging piles. There is no pressure to drive a tram. The twin room we booked was very spacious, clean and tidy, and the living was particularly comfortable. The young lady at the front desk was very enthusiastic and the mineral water was free. The window is facing the football field, the view is particularly good, and the mood is getting better. The surrounding area is full of local specialty restaurants, there are many delicious foods, and you can rent a battery car and a small yellow car. It is also very convenient to hang out nearby. The overall experience is super good, highly recommended!"
