"I booked a river-view room for two nights. The room wasn't large, but it was compact and adequate, not too cramped, and the facilities were sufficient. The hotel's design reflects a resort concept. I've been here several times before, and this time the room had been renovated. The bathroom had a separate shower and toilet. The bedding was comfortable, and it was incredibly quiet, although the bed was a bit small. At night, I could hear frogs croaking and roosters crowing in the distance. There was a reading lamp by the bed. The river-view room had a small terrace with a pleasant view of the Nanla River. I mainly came here for the surrounding environment. There's a good Dai-style restaurant called Mikanhong in Manlongle Village nearby, which I always eat at, but it's the only one I visit. It's not very commercialized, so it's suitable for people who prefer peace and quiet. There are several villages within about ten kilometers that you can drive to explore. On weekends, you can go to local markets and eat delicious food. Showering was inconvenient; the water wasn't very hot during the day, so I could only shower at night, but it was fine by the next morning. The breakfast was average, but filling. The trash cans were small, not big enough for a resort hotel. Overall, it's a budget hotel."

"The hotel is located in a small town just outside the Botanical Garden of the Chinese Academy of Sciences. Our tour guide at the botanical garden told us that this is also a very new hotel. The facilities in the hotel are relatively complete, but the washbasin in the room we stayed in will easily accumulate water, but the overall stay was still Very satisfied; the store owner was very welcoming and even helped us upgrade the room type."

"The hotel is very special, more like a school, simple and clean. There are many books on biology in the lobby on the first floor, and there is a small biomuseum. The hotel is equipped with classrooms and laboratories, and the room we stayed in had electron microscopes and slice samples, as well as a cylinder of plants. Hotel service is very good, everyone is very kind, breakfast is not buffet, but healthy and nutritious. The portion is very large. The hotel is not suitable for everyone, no loud noises are allowed, no TV. But I have stayed in the most comfortable hotel this trip."

"The hotel's facilities are quite new and clean, and the diligent cleaning staff were the only highlight of my stay. However, the front desk service and management were a disaster. Upon check-in, the male receptionist told me the room didn't include breakfast. When I asked if it could be complimentary, he suggested, 'If you leave a good review, we can provide it.' I immediately agreed, but for my three-night stay, I only received one breakfast voucher. When I asked why, his colleague (who seemed to be the duty manager or hotel manager) brushed me off with the excuse that 'two reviews only count as one.' This practice is truly disgusting. Either provide breakfast for all three nights or don't offer it at all; there's no need to placate guests in such a manner. In the end, I didn't even use that single breakfast voucher. Furthermore, I was assigned the most remote and smallest room. While I understand that room types might vary depending on the booking channel, the platform did not inform me in advance about location or size restrictions, nor did it clearly state the difference between the main and annex buildings. This room was also far from both the elevator and the laundry room, making movement even more inconvenient. What was even more disappointing was that the manager spent the entire time at the front desk playing on their phone, ignoring guests. When I extended my stay, another female employee was unfamiliar with even basic system operations, repeatedly asking for information that was readily available. The training here seems to be non-existent. The hotel is split into two buildings with no signage whatsoever. The elevators also lack floor directories, so I had to repeatedly try different options to find the correct building. The back building doesn't have direct access to the underground parking or the laundry room; guests have to walk around to the front building and then a long distance. The layout completely disregards basic guest needs and even poses safety risks. The chaotic front desk management, lack of service integrity, and severe flaws in the building's layout go far beyond ordinary service imperfections."

"Chose this place for its proximity to the botanical garden, perfect for birdwatching. The owners were incredibly welcoming. Since there were two of us, we found the initial room a bit small, but they kindly upgraded us to a larger one. Mr. Song, the owner, is an expert birdwatcher and knows all the local birding spots like the back of his hand. He was able to give us tips on reliable locations to spot specific birds, which was a huge help. We'll definitely be back!"
