The only pity is that there are mosquitoes š¦, which may be caused by climate change. Hope this can be improved slightly."

The location is great. It's right in the city. The night market is next to it. There is an exclusive parking lotš
æ which is shared by NET. The disadvantage is that there are so many mosquitoes that they fly right in when you open the window.
There is no cigarette smell in the room. It is clean and has simple things. There is Mickey and Minnie in the lobby to celebrate the New Year and there are candies š¬. The waiter is a boy. He is very nice and kind. After asking, he will provide extra quilts to cover the elders at night.
The breakfast is also rich. Salads, porridge, steamed buns and breads. Hot food also has cut noodles. Iām very surprised. Iām very full.
I will consider staying here next time I come to Pingtungšš»šš»šš»"

GGuest UserOverall our stay was great! This was our first time in Taiwan Kenting, we were looking for somewhere easy to go from Macau with nice holiday beach feel. Ā We used to go to Thailand but we wanted a change this time.
Location wise itās very convenient 2 mins walk to the night market where you have tons of food options, street stalls or restaurants wise. You have couples of 7 elevens, family mart, watsons all you need in case you forget to pack something.Ā
Thereās bus station āxiaowanā very convenient for sightseeing if you donāt rent a car. Pretty on time and big coaches very comfortable with AC.
In terms of amenities, we thought the hotel could have more beach amenities, beach bar or restaurants would add a huge value for the hotel. Many families would stay all day by the beach if they have bar/restaurant. It was a shame its was closedā¦
Also the sun lounges could be a bit more comfortable simply just add a thin cushions on top. And again would be great to have a bar for quick bite by the pool.
Our room was the ground floor ones with Jacuzzi, it was a lovely touch since they donāt have bathtub in the bathroom. The little garden is a great touch for morning meditation. :)
We also did a nighttime activity with the hotel by the beach to hunt crabs. It was a great activity and the staff did a great job explaining and helping out.
Food wise, we had breakfast buffet in all 5 days, it was a big selection of food but not much variety. We had a lunch by lobby barā¦ but was not up to our taste unfortunately. There is much better options outside or hotel.
Oh and they did a little decoration since it was my bday and offered a cheesecake to the room by a robot :).
All in all it was a great experience hopefully they will step up the pool and beach area.

SStaycationBearyFrom arrival to departure, the service was excellent. The staff and crew displayed warm hospitality and were attentive to guests' needs. Like many hotels in Taiwan, in-room utilities such as toothbrushes and toothpaste are not provided, so youāll need to bring your own.
Sunshine Liv partners with a scooter rental shop that delivers and collects the scooter directly at the homestay. The rental price is reasonable at TWD 400 for 24 hours, and thereās no requirement to return the scooter with a full tank. The homestay is also conveniently located, with the nearest night market just a 10-minute scooter ride away.
We were delighted to receive a complimentary room upgrade with stunning ocean views! The room was spacious, clean, and well-maintained. The TV offers a wide selection of channels across various genres, catering to different preferences. Additionally, the homestay serves a delightful home-cooked style breakfast.
Overall, we highly recommend visiting Kenting, and Sunshine Liv is an excellent choice for accommodation!
P.S. Complimentary parking is available for in-house guests, but the parking space is quite narrow, so drivers should proceed with caution.

We enjoy swimming in the pool area,our room is comfy,the food is delicious ,they have these moroccan style outfit for rent that gives highlight to the hotel and it was very entertaining though, i think they just need to add some clothes or a bit repair is needed but overall i would say it worth the penny.and thanks to the very accomodating staff! The front desk ladies are super nice and helpful, and very friendly (Sorry we forgot to get your names)!
We stayed on a weekday night, where the hotel/hostel is not fully booked. The stay was quiet at night which is what we are looking for. Not sure how things will be over the weekend or at the peak season when the place is fully booked.
The hotel is also very close to one of the scuba diving/snorkeling tour business.
Itās a bit furtheri by the harbor, but with a rental scooter, itās easily accessible.
The only one thing for us personally, the check out time 11 pm is a bit on the earlier end (we understand some of other hotel/hostel on the island do too) If the check out can be at 12 pm, it will be perfect!
Will want to come back if we are back to the island again!

GGuest UserWe had a great stay here. We were right across from the beach( no swimming beach but was great for kids to play in the sand). Staff were friendly. We were just a minuteās walk from the night market, great for the kids to go play some games and get food easily. Breakfast shop was also just up the street from the hotel. Parking is also offered by the hotel which is located behind the hotel. No complaints here. Looking forward to staying here again.

Ggalen15The owner is really friendly and you can connect with her on LINE to ask her anything. She even helped us make a booking for Partyworld which would not let us make a booking as tourists. The room is large and clean, even though the fittings and furniture are not the best. The location at the start of the Kenting night market is really good and the family have a stall that sells amazing watermelon milk. The owner is local and has lots of contacts, she arranged for a local driver to bring us around one day who was really knowledgeable and accommodating. Overall, a solid recommend.

GGuest UserVery nice place to stay. It seems newly built or renovated and it was very clean. We had a great room with a balcony.
Staff is super friendly and really went the extra mile to help us, despite a slight language barrier (they were able to communicate all relevant information in English to us). There was free coffee, tea, and snacks available (including snacks from the island).
You may choose between a pre-made breakfast at the hotel or vouchers for a breakfast at a take away place thatās a five-minute scooter drive away. We choose the latter - itās a nice local experience, a bit of a challenge for non-Chinese speakers such as ourselves, so if you donāt want to figure it out, the pre-made breakfast might be a better option.
You can also rent an e-scooter here, which is nice but do keep in mind that itās silent - so other people in traffic may not hear you. We had no problems but I noticed some people crossing that seemed to have no idea we were passing. A plus is that you can change the battery for free at several points on the island.

PPeishanThe location is goodšIt is quite close to the Sail Rock Beach, but there is no trail like Fuhua and Caesar. It is relatively dangerous to cross the road. But the advantage of the highest point is that the view is also very wide. The appearance is similar to the former Oak Villa. It is well maintained. The interior rooms have been updated. There used to be a bowling track, but it doesn't exist now. It may be too noisy and the lanes need long-term maintenance, so it has been cancelled for a long time. But the quiet holiday atmosphereā±ļøI like it very muchā¤ļø

SSteffdoI recently stayed at 35.5 Inn in Kenting Xiaowan, and overall, I had a very positive experience.
The rooms were exceptionally clean, and the amenities provided were good. Everything was well-maintained, making my stay comfortable.
The location is fantasticāthe hotel is right next to the Kenting Night Market, which is held daily. This makes it incredibly convenient for food, shopping, and entertainment. Additionally, a scooter rental shop is located right next door, offering both regular and electric scooters, making it easy to explore the area.
One aspect that could be improved is the check-in process. Unfortunately, check-in is only available from 4:00 PM, which can be inconvenient for travelers arriving earlier. A potential improvement would be to provide guests with the door code in advance, allowing early check-in if the room is already available. In my case, my room was unoccupied before my arrival, so this could have been an easy solution.
Overall, I highly recommend 35.5 Inn for its cleanliness, great location, and accessibility to transport options. If they refine their check-in process, it would be an even better experience!
