"Pool was littered with debris from the strong winds. The water quality was good, but the pool staff could have done a better job at hauling out the debris at the deep end of the pool. The jacuzzi was a disappointment. The presence of greenish/yellowish algae in the water made the jacuzzi uninviting. The heater was turned off and will not be turned on until the third week of November. I was there during the last week of October. Every resort I stayed at had the jacuzzi heated despite the time of the year or the ambient air temperature. If it is the position of the management to not clean or heat the jacuzzi, then the jacuzzi should be covered up and blocked off. The breakfast buffet was horrible considering how much money they charged. I probably will not stay or recommend this hotel. It’s has a lot of potential!"

"No bidet spray, hand soap, hair conditioner, shower cap, toothbrush, toothpaste etc. but there’s water dispenser on every level so saved us some money from buying bottled water. Overall it is still provide pretty comfortable stay & good base to be at for exploring Kenting & Hengchun. It’s easy to find this hotel. From Taoyuan airport we took Airport Express Train to Taoyuan HSR (High Speed Rail) station & took HSR to Zuoying THSR in Kaohsiung, then took Kenting Express Bus 9189 at bus stop #2 along the road outside of Zuoying THSR station (need to top up enough fare in your Easy Travel card at the station beforehand otherwise pay cash to bus driver). Alight at Kenting Police Substation bus stop (get ready to press the bell once you pass Kenting Arch otherwise driver won’t stop for you) & walk into small lane walk a short distance to the back door of Kenting Coast Resort. There’s a restaurant called Magic Kitchen for quick breakfast a very short walk to the right of hotel front door. We managed to book half day (4-hr) tour with the help hotel receptionist on both days, just tell the driver where you want to go for sighting/experience/food. We paid NTD 2200 for each half-day tour. We actually checked out early in the morning on the last day & did a 4-hr tour of Hengchun old town with our luggages in the car & get dropped off at Hengchun interchange bus station to catch Kenting Express Bus back to Zuoying THSR. But we discovered actually you can deposit luggages at the Hengchun interchange bus station for a fee then walk around Hengchun old town yourselves without worrying about lugging luggages around haha."

"The location is incredibly convenient, and the hotel facilities are excellent. A night market is right next door, which is a fantastic bonus. The breakfast was absolutely delicious, making it a great spot for both couples and families. I will definitely be returning. The staff were also incredibly polite."

"This time I stayed in a hotel with a balcony and sea view room, which was very comfortable and had good air. Downstairs, across the road was the entertainment center. There were many snacks on both sides of the road. It was also very close to the night market. The hotel had a lot of snacks. The proprietress was very enthusiastic and took the initiative to introduce local fruits and helped us buy the best fruits. I will stay here again"

"This is amazing hotel.. Service very good and the location of the hotel is perfect.. We rented motorbike to round kengting and everything is perfect here. The staffs are polite and helpful.. They provide free shuttle to bus stop at heng chun."

"Most people who come to Kenting will choose to stay in a B&B and will stay for more than three days. This time, because we came in winter and only stayed for one night, we specially chose to stay at the Riverside Resort Hotel. The hotel is located at the northernmost end of Hengchun Town, a little far away. The hotel itself has great facilities and space, and the parking lot is also large. The room is spacious, comfortable and bright, the bed is very comfortable, the breakfast is also rich and delicious, the service staff is friendly and polite, and the price is relatively cheap. The overall stay experience is great and worth recommending."

"The exterior of the building is funky and refreshing. It's very appropriate for fun loving travellers.. No lifts tho, fantastic for couples, family, friends. Best to travel light. However the person in charge was very kind to help me with my heavy luggage upstairs and also when I was about to check out without having to ask Adequate breakfast. Good seaview.. Lovely establishment. Close to Kenting night market as well as the Youth activity center with a few trekking trails behind."
