They were taking care of us like parents would do, helping us with many things, they were absolutely lovely. "The guesthouse's location is decent, situated halfway up the mountain. It's relatively convenient if you're driving, but don't consider it if you don't have a car, as it's a few kilometers from the scenic area. The scenery is quite nice, and the guesthouse owner is very friendly, but frankly, it's not worth making a special trip during holidays. The guesthouse prices are outrageous; a place that would normally cost 200 yuan can jump to three figures during holidays. The key issue is that the scenic area itself is just average, with nothing much to see, and I feel there's some misleading advertising online. Furthermore, the rooms have very poor soundproofing, and basic amenities like air conditioning and showers are inadequate. In short, if you live nearby, it's okay to drive there on weekends to enjoy the mountain air, but it's not worth making a special trip."

"I booked this home stay the night before just looking for somewhere to stay in the area. To say it was nice is an understatement, the service and hospitality I received here was nothing short of a home love, I wished I didn’t have to leave. The owner was very generous and kind and the room was even better than the pictures. They had an intern who went beyond to make me comfortable, she took me to restaurants and took photos of me in the town and constantly on hand if I needed anything. Could not recommend enough!!"

"This stay at the Lishui Yunhe Hotel was a fantastic experience! The room was clean and bright, with the exception of the pillows, which had a slight odor. The housekeeping staff were also very friendly and welcoming. Breakfast also included local snacks. The hotel is also conveniently located, and taxis to the Yunhe Rice Terraces are also easy, making travel a breeze."

"The B&B is on a hillside, with a viewing platform and a great view. There is also a cute Border Collie, which has become our group pet. It will invite you to throw a frisbee and tease you. "The room was overpriced at 65 USD for a simple stay, though this could be due to the Chinese holidays and high demand. Realistically, such a place shouldn’t cost more than 20 USD. On the positive side, the hotel is newly renovated. The room looks good, the toilets are new (though not fully functional), and the showers were fine. However, I had to request towels, as they weren’t provided by default. Breakfast was decent, and the staff are clearly trying their best to be helpful and provide good service. That said, the place overall needs better maintenance, and the elevator should definitely be upgraded—it currently stops at every floor, which is inconvenient."
